Trivia

Origin

Camerupt is essentially a camel with volcanoes on its back instead of humps.

Name origin

Camerupt's name is a combination of camel and erupt. Its Japanese name is based on 爆弾 bakudan, bomb. It is worth noting that the Japanese word for camel is 駱駝 rakuda, and two-humped camels are Bactrian Camels.
