Location of Butwal Island in the Orange Archipelago

Butwal Island (Japanese: クネンボ島 Kunenbo Island) is an island in the northeastern region of the Orange Archipelago.

The island is particularly lush and green. There are also rivers, waterfalls, and mountains. It is known for having lots of wild plants on the island that Pokémon love to eat. The island is too small to have an airport or a seaport, so supplies of Pokémon food from Valencia Island are parachuted onto the island weekly by plane.

It was explored in Pokémon Food Fight!, when Ash and his friends met Gulzar.

Over a large mountain, the Butwal Pokémon Center is the location where the food from Valencia Island is dropped off. It is shaped like an upside down Poké Ball with a plus sign over the doorway. It is next to a shallow river. The Center is run by Nurse Joy and a Chansey.
