Asking for help to fix the many misspellings here would be nice. Jellochuu¾ 20:02, 6 Mar 2005 (UTC)

http://es.pokemon.wikia.com/wiki/Portada Should we add this Spanish-language Wiki? --Greengiant 07:55, 13 December 2007 (UTC)

I highly doubt that. Encyclopaediae Pokémonis uses the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike license throughout all languages. The Spanish-language wiki in question uses the GNU Free Documentation license, an incompatible license with Encyclopaediae Pokémonis. --Shiningpikablu252 23:11, 13 December 2007 (UTC)

When will userpage editability return?

So the message says that the results of the testing would be conclusive in a week. It's been over a month and no results! What's taking so long? Zurqoxn 21:53, 28 April 2008 (UTC)

They said that the testing was over, and now they're figurin' out the limits of the amount of userspace edits. PL12 21:57, 28 April 2008 (UTC)
Yeah, I'd been wondering about that, too. I mean, I only edit my Userpage because I'm bored and want to try out my editing skills. I REALLY hope that the editing functionality comes back soon. User:Thunderboom 20:49, 13 May 2008 (UTC)
Bulbapedia:Sandbox can be used to experiment with the mediawiki coding. --FabuVinny |Talk Page| 21:11, 13 May 2008 (UTC)
I wouldn't mind the ability to give myself a basic editor page. It seems to be slightly unfair perhaps that some users have such pages and newer users can't; but then, I think it might be worse if you have a page that you can't change. I just hope that this is addressed soon - it has now been two months since the announcement. An update of any kind would be nice. LostDrewid 11:18, 28 May 2008 (UTC)
Another month has passed... =( Kilik 14:45, 29 June 2008 (UTC)

Don't expect anything until 2009 MathijsP 15:25, 29 June 2008 (UTC) Does the policy of three edits apply: a) per day, week, month, etc.? b) to talk pages? Lord of Origami 14:58, 10 October 2008 (UTC)

I believe the limit is three userspace edits per day, excluding talk pages. Cipher 15:10, 10 October 2008 (UTC)

Hosting

Hello,

My name is Simon Koldyk and I'm from a company called ScribbleWiki, we do wiki hosting for corporations and community wikis. We would like to offer our services of hosting Bulbapedia. The advertising would stay in some form (not intrusive) and a little "hosted by ScribbleWiki" at the bottom would go up; but, any extra costs would be covered by our company.

We have no interest in owning/managing anything, the owner of the site would still be Archaic, and could choose to move anywhere else at any time. The content would still be under by-nc-sa, the only thing would change is we would handle the hosting architecture and assist with upgrading / development.

I'll be talking to Archaic personally; but, wanted to first post this to the community to see initial reactions to this sort of arrangement. --Simon Koldyk 16:10, 2 June 2008 (UTC)

Red links

Why is there a ? after all the red links now? LatiasGemstonr

It's in your preferences, but I don't know where. Change it if you don't like it! MoldyOrange 19:03, 16 June 2008 (UTC)

October 1

Just a note; it might be a bit unwieldy to mention, but I don't think editing other user's pages should be restricted to 3 a day; for one, you shouldn't be editing other user's pages as it is, unless it's for maintainance (removing incorrect category tags, etc), in which case, there would be no need for a limit. -- Jïörüjï Ðērākō.>.cнаt^ 07:53, 19 October 2008 (UTC)

Rounded Border

What we need is a way to detect the browser. It would use -moz-border-radius for mozilla-based, -webkit-border-radius for webkit-based, and use the original way for other.--Mew a.k.a. Prmatt11 at 16:33, 14 February 2009 (UTC)

That is waaaay to complicated. Switching coding depending on browsers? People aren't really coming here to see the pretty round corners, they are coming to see what AG episodes Misty appeared in, where to find a Ralts and what moves are supereffective against Lance's team.----RexRacer -talk 16:36, 14 February 2009 (UTC)
So I'd say to ban those ugly round borders. especially these on the top toolbar (I already did that in my user css.) it just looks ugly! [Greets, mewX (TALK)] 15:29, 1 March 2009 (UTC)
They are NOT ugly, Interdisgusting Explorer just needs to update (again)--Mew a.k.a. Prmatt11 at 20:39, 23 March 2009 (UTC)

Content copied from here to the The Pokémon Wiki

Hey guys. I am Richard1990, a Helper for Wikia. Next time you can you tell me that there is content being copied over from there to the The Pokémon Wiki? I'll see if I can do something about it. I was just there today and noticed the massive amounts of vandalism, likely from users who visit this site and see that content is being copied over. I also want to really commend you guys for telling users to not vandalize the other wiki. I apologize if the community at the Wikia wiki didn't do anything about it and hopefully this will never happen again. I didn't know where else to put this so I just put it here if that is alright.--Richard1990 17:58, 21 April 2009 (UTC)

For the most part, we have a bit of dialogue going between our Editorial Board and two of the admins on TPW, namely User:Charitwo and User:Captain Vas. However, it's always great to have more people on both ends working on this, and as both websites are wikis, it's inevitable that the situation arise again; glad to know we can contact you about such incidents as well. -- Jïörüjï Ðērākō.>.cнаt^ 01:52, 22 April 2009 (UTC)

Change the skin

Um, excuse a newbie question, but how do I change the Bulbapedia skin (I want to select Rocket skin) --HTMLCODER.exe@bulbapedia$_ /usr/bin/apache2 -k restart 00:11, 9 April 2010 (UTC)

Currently it isn't possible to change the skins, since when they were implemented recently they broke in IE. The admins say that they are planning to fully implement them after they have been fixed. Werdnae (talk) 00:41, 9 April 2010 (UTC)
Okay, thanks. --HTMLCODER.exe@bulbapedia$_ /usr/bin/apache2 -k restart 13:48, 9 April 2010 (UTC)
