What does it mean when an edit's patrolled?
I see a list here, but I don't know what it means. Unowninator (talk) 21:42, 28 May 2016 (UTC)
:It's supposed to be the staff's way of knowing which edits have been monitored, although we don't really use it since the RC isn't too active and active staff tend to monitor all edits, anyways. Basically, when we view the diff of an edit, we have the option of marking it as patrolled, which means that a staff member has reviewed the edit and deemed it okay. Most of the edits you see in that list have been automatically marked as patrolled--staff members at the Senior Administrator level and higher have all of their edits automatically marked as patrolled. In short, it's not really something you need to worry about. --<span style="color:#95EB5C">Carmen<small>★</small></span> <small><span style="color:#FEBEE8">(Talk |</span> <span style="color:#A6DAFC">contribs)</span></small> 21:52, 28 May 2016 (UTC)

When do I become auto-confirmed?
This seems like the type of question many users would be asking. I'm aware of the auto-confirmation this wiki and many others use (hello from the Super Mario Wiki!). I also know that the different wikis have different time-frames of when users become autoconfirmed, so my question, as stated above, is when do users become autoconfirmed? I can't seem to find the answer on the FAQ. Alex95 (talk) 22:00, 4 April 2017 (UTC)
:my understanding is that the staff refuses to tell anyone and changes it regularly to keep people from only doing enough edits to be autoconfirmed and then not being productive. Although it probably wouldn't hurt to just say that on the FAQ. Nutter Butter (talk) 22:06, 4 April 2017 (UTC)
::Huh. I got Pokken Tournament for my birthday and was looking up more info about it, to find that the advisor, Nia, doesn't have a page. I'll need to make a few more edits before I can start making pages of course, I was just wondering how many edits need to have been made and/or what the waiting period is. Alex95 (talk) 22:26, 4 April 2017 (UTC)
:::That is somewhat understandable, but as per the talk page for Zesty Cactus, "The requirements to become autoconfirmed are based on both your number of edits and how long you've been a member of the site. The exact requirements are a secret, so I can't tell you, sorry!"  My suggestion is to ask a member of staff like Jo The Marten about what would go in that article and the text and maybe it can be created for you.  Maybe this will not work out in the end, but it is the best that I can suggest.  --Super goku (talk) 07:35, 5 April 2017 (UTC)

Revision as of 07:35, 5 April 2017

Why do people keep removing my edit to the trivia of Noibat stating that "Despite having the lowest base stat total of all Dragon-Type Pokemon, Goomy's PokeDex entry states it is the weakest Dragon-Type.- unsigned comment from ScareWolf (talkcontribs)

Because the base stat total is not the only factor that determines how weak a Pokémon is. One can argue that Noibat's moveset, higher Speed stat, Abilities, and type combination make it overall stronger Pokémon than Goomy.--Den Zen 00:10, 1 December 2013 (UTC)
