This seems like the type of question many users would be asking. I'm aware of the auto-confirmation this wiki and many others use (hello from the Super Mario Wiki!). I also know that the different wikis have different time-frames of when users become autoconfirmed, so my question, as stated above, is when do users become autoconfirmed? I can't seem to find the answer on the FAQ. Alex95 (talk) 22:00, 4 April 2017 (UTC)

:my understanding is that the staff refuses to tell anyone and changes it regularly to keep people from only doing enough edits to be autoconfirmed and then not being productive. Although it probably wouldn't hurt to just say that on the FAQ. Nutter Butter (talk) 22:06, 4 April 2017 (UTC)

Why do people keep removing my edit to the trivia of Noibat stating that "Despite having the lowest base stat total of all Dragon-Type Pokemon, Goomy's PokeDex entry states it is the weakest Dragon-Type.- unsigned comment from ScareWolf (talkcontribs)

Because the base stat total is not the only factor that determines how weak a Pokémon is. One can argue that Noibat's moveset, higher Speed stat, Abilities, and type combination make it overall stronger Pokémon than Goomy.--Den Zen 00:10, 1 December 2013 (UTC)

Undoing/reverting edit

What does undoing or reverting a person's edit has to do with it. --Cinday123 (Talk) 05:36, 2 April 2014 (UTC)

You're going to have to be more specific as to what you mean. --It's Funktastic~!話してください 05:58, 2 April 2014 (UTC)
Any edit that has unnotable trivia, bad grammar, and vandalism can be undid? --Cinday123 (Talk) 06:17, 2 April 2014 (UTC)
...if you give a good reason... then yes.--ForceFire 08:02, 2 April 2014 (UTC)
Thank you Force Fire, I'll have to be extra careful next time I'm editing. And one more I forgot, the same thing with separate links will be undid or no? --Cinday123 (Talk) 08:10, 2 April 2014 (UTC)

Edit request

Would someone change "moves" to "moves" in the Template related section? Tiddlywinks (talk) 01:23, 15 June 2014 (UTC)

Also: "abilities" to "abilities" (same section)? Tiddlywinks (talk) 01:56, 15 June 2014 (UTC)
Done! =] MaverickNate 01:58, 15 June 2014 (UTC)

Edit request

In Bulbapedia:FAQ#Are there rules to using the userspace?:

Users are not allowed to edit other users pages unless you're changing a redlink to prevent it from showing up in the Wanted Pages.

should say

Users are not allowed to edit other users' pages unless you're changing a redlink to prevent it from showing up in the Wanted Pages.

Thanks! KantoRules 07:01, 23 June 2014 (UTC)

What does it mean when an edit's patrolled?

I see a list here, but I don't know what it means. Unowninator (talk) 21:42, 28 May 2016 (UTC)

It's supposed to be the staff's way of knowing which edits have been monitored, although we don't really use it since the RC isn't too active and active staff tend to monitor all edits, anyways. Basically, when we view the diff of an edit, we have the option of marking it as patrolled, which means that a staff member has reviewed the edit and deemed it okay. Most of the edits you see in that list have been automatically marked as patrolled--staff members at the Senior Administrator level and higher have all of their edits automatically marked as patrolled. In short, it's not really something you need to worry about. --Carmen (Talk | contribs) 21:52, 28 May 2016 (UTC)

"How do I change my username?"

I have just realized that this is likely a commonly-asked question (it's certainly one I'd like to ask) that isn't on this page. Should it be added? Xolroc (talk) 18:49, 13 January 2017 (UTC)

You can't. If want to change contact the edit bord.
Horton Hears a murder (talk) 18:51, 13 January 2017 (UTC)
I figured that was the case. Proooobably should still be added though, so you don't get a lot of people asking it. Xolroc (talk) 18:56, 13 January 2017 (UTC)
Bulbapedia:Username policy#Changing usernames. It's around anyway, and in the navbox at the bottom of this page. Tiddlywinks (talk) 18:59, 13 January 2017 (UTC)
