Some Bulbapedia members have formed a project to better organize efforts to write and improve articles about characters of the day. If you would like to help, please inquire on the talk page or the Bulbapedia forum and see the to-do list. Also note article notes.
Scope and aims
Project COD covers all articles about one-time characters in the Pokémon anime.
Its aim is to create articles on every character who has been the focus of an anime episode.
To join the project, simply add your name to the bottom of this list:
Articles need not be long but should at least contain a few paragraphs.
The opening sentence should follow this structure:
'''(Character)''' is a is a one-time character in the Pokémon anime who appeared in the
episode ''[[(Episode code)|(Episode title)]]''
The opening paragraph should then continue to give any basic information about the character, including their voice actor in the English and Japanese versions.
The second paragraph should give a detailed description, including their personality and any information that is provided in the episode. This should be taken from the perspective of their situation at the start of the episode.
The third paragraph should give a brief description of their role in the episode including any character development undergone.
After the text, a list of the character's Pokémon should be added where appropriate, using either
Don't forget to categorize any new pages:

If the character has a surname, categorize it as such:
[[Category:Characters of the day|(Surname), (Other names)]]
- Identify characters deserving of articles on Bulbapedia.
- Create articles on each character.
- Ensure the project's standards are in place on each article.
Infoboxes are not to be used on COD articles.
