He said on his talk page recently that he did not want to become an admin (yet). I don't know the procedure for closing on the basis of "The user was not informed, and in fact said no three days ago," so I'm voting against him in his place. --Raijinili 05:12, 29 October 2008 (UTC)

Oh, I don't know... he's gotten blocked before, but he took it gracefully both times... and wasn't he a major userspace abuser awhile back, or am I thinking of someone else? In any case, he's been a good contributor for a long time and works on the manga section, which needs help. He also has exceptionally good grammar and such, so I'm torn. I not trying to convince you...but I really don't think those are things to always hold against a person. I'm sure some other admins have done things like this in the past so I don't think we always need to defy this kind of decision based on these solely. You can take them into consideration if you want, but they shouldn't be the weight of a decision. --HoennMaster 01:11, 29 October 2008 (UTC)
