Description The youngest Gym Leader in Johto and a lover of bug Pokémon, he has great knowledge of Bug types and wants to become a Pokémon Professor.

Bugsy (Japanese: ツクシ Tsukushi) is a Pokémon Trainer in Pokémon Masters EX, based on the character of the same name in the core series. He forms a sync pair with Beedrill, which is capable of Mega Evolving. This sync pair was first made available since the game release.

Bugsy also forms a sync pair with his Scyther. This sync pair was first made available on July 22, 2021.

Trivia

Origin

Bugsy's design is based on his appearance in Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver. Beedrill is the evolved form of Kakuna, one of the Pokémon Bugsy uses during his Gym battle with the player in the Johto-based core series games. Beedrill's Dex entry comes from Pokémon Ruby, Sapphire, Omega Ruby, and Alpha Sapphire.

Scyther is Bugsy's signature Pokémon in the core series games. Scyther's Dex entry comes from Pokémon Ultra Sun.
