Location of Boyleland in Almia |
Boyleland (Japanese: ボイルランド Boyleland) is a village in Pokémon Ranger: Shadows of Almia.
The island consists of dried lava and a volcano. When the player first visits Boyleland, the native Pokémon have all disappeared. The player goes into Volcano Cave in order to rescue to Pokémon from Team Dim Sun, who have hypnotized the Pokémon and moved them by using Miniremo units. As a result, the village elder's Mime Jr. idolizes the player and will join the player as a Partner Pokémon after the player has returned from obtaining the Red Gem in Volcano Cave.
Every year, Boyleland celebrates a Snow Festival by finding Ice-type Pokémon and causing it to snow on the hot island. The player is eventually assigned a quest to find a Glalie and Froslass to make it snow.
