==Trivia==
The information for length was dropped from cards starting with the {{TCG|Expedition Base Set}} and was missing from cards until the {{TCG|Diamond & Pearl}} expansion, when it returned as height. This caused problems when trying to play this card alongside Pokémon printed without a length. It is recommended that this card be played only in decks that feature Pokémon released between {{TCG|Base Set}} and {{TCG|Neo Destiny}}, and/or since {{TCG|Diamond & Pearl}}. (Keep in mind that {{TCG|Pokémon LV.X}}, {{TCG|Pokémon SP}}, and Pokémon with built-in items do not have the height field printed on their card.)

Otherwise, one will have to use an [[e-Reader]] to scan the short end of the card, which will show the length data for the Pokémon. This only applies for cards from the {{TCG|Expedition Base Set}} to {{TCG|EX Team Magma vs Team Aqua}}, and even then not all cards in those sets have dot-code strips with the length data. A copy of a Pokémon game where that specific Pokémon is registered as caught can also be used. Even then, one could not do it this way in official events, as a ruling prohibits using electronic devices and other references to prove a Pokémon's height on a card that doesn't have it printed.

Origin

In the Generation I Pokémon games, Blaine's Gym contains locked doors that can only be opened after the player either attempts a quiz or battles a Trainer.
