Any non-Mega Evolved, non-Primal Pokémon can use Black Hole Eclipse if it knows a damaging Dark-type move, holds a Darkinium Z, and if its Trainer wears a Z-Ring.

  • In PASM03, Nanu's Alolan Persian was mentioned to be able to use Black Hole Eclipse, but the move was interrupted before it could be executed.


  • Black Hole Eclipse has the lowest maximum power of all type-specific damaging Z-Moves, with a maximum power of 180 when using Hyperspace Fury as the base move.
