(Japanese: ルー Roo) is a character appearing in Rocking the Virbank Gym! (Part 1) and Rocking the Virbank Gym! (Part 2) of the Pokémon anime.

She is a guitarist playing with Roxie and Cook in the band "The Koffing", which is quite well known in Unova and provides music during Roxie's Gym Battles. When Ash came to the Virbank Gym, Roxie introduced Roo as someone with a "venomous personality".

She once went on tour with the band through Kanto but mentioned to Ash that the audiences there weren't as upbeat as those in Unova.

In the games

A character named Roo also appears at the Virbank Gym in Black 2 and White 2. Here, she also plays in a band with Roxie, just like in the anime. The player has to battle her before being able to battle Roxie.
