Pokémon world locations |
The Beta Safari Zone is an area programmed into Gold, Silver, and Crystal Versions, which was removed from gameplay by replacing the entrance door with a building wall, making the warp where the door used to be unusable. It was intended to be located in Fuchsia City, as its Generation I counterpart was. In Generation IV, it is replaced by Pal Park and the Safari Zone is moved to the north of Route 48.
Pokémon
No wild Pokémon exist within the grass of the Beta Safari Zone; however, a few Pokémon can be found by fishing.

A colored background means that the Pokémon can be found in this location in the specified game. A white background with a colored letter means that the Pokémon cannot be found here. |
Area
Although the entrances to the Safari Zone were removed, the warps still exist, so it is possible to enter the area; however, the exits were fully removed. The area is rather small, with a few tiles of long grass, a small pond, and several other features. However, there are no wild Pokémon within the Safari Zone grass, but there are some that can be found by fishing.
Trivia
- This is the only Safari Zone to not house any wild Pokémon within the grass, due to it not being accessible in the final game.
