The Berry fields (Japanese: きのみ畑 Berry fields) are a location on Melemele Island in Alola, located east of Route 2.
Geography
The Berry fields, like the name suggests, are a Berry farm, from which fresh Berries are delivered to people across Melemele Island. The delivery of these Berries is handeled by a group of Delibird belonging to the farmer who runs the Berry fields. Being similar to its namesake in Kalos, the farm has multiple fields of soft soil used for Berry farming. However, unlike in Kalos, the player is unable to interact with the fields to plant Berries; this role is instead handled by Isle Aplenny in Poké Pelago.
When the player first travels through Route 2, a Delibird calls the player to the farms, where the owner is being harassed by a pair of Team Skull Grunts. Later, after defeating Hala, the player can encounter another Delibird from the farm in Hau'oli City and receive a Shell Bell from it.
