Confirmed battling venues
Battle Tower
- Main article: Battle Tower (Sinnoh)
The Battle Tower is identical to the Battle Tower in Pokémon Diamond and Pearl. The player battles seven, random trainers consecutively in a simple knock-out, progressively becoming more difficult. Trainers will choose three Pokémon to battle with having their Level reduced to 50. After each battle, the player's Pokémon will be healed completely and have the option to continue, rest or retire. The Battle Tower has four modes:
- Single Battle
- Double Battle
- Multi Battle
- Wi-Fi Battle

Battle Factory
The Battle Factory will be another battle venue at Sinnoh's Battle Frontier, having basically the same ruling as the Hoenn Battle Frontier's Battle Factory. The player will be able to choose three rental Pokémon of six and battle another trainer with rental Pokémon. It is held in a blue stadium that has an odd similarity to a Prinplup's head. Its color is also blue. Neijiki is the Frontier Brain for the Battle Factory.
Battle Castle
In the Battle Castle, you must fight seven opponents in a row. Win, and you gain Castle Points to heal your party, purchase items, and look at future opponents.
Katorea is the Frontier Brain for the Battle Castle.
Battle Stage
Battle Stage is a one on one series of battles. You enter one Pokémon and choose the next opponent from a list of types. This is the only part of the Battle Frontier where Pokémon exceed level 50, the opponents rise in level as you progress.
Battle Roulette
Battles are 3 vs 3 or 4 vs 4. Before each battle, you play roulette which assigns negative (Poison) or positive (Berry) status effects on your party.
