The episodes begins with Ash dreaming of him riding on Reshiram at the sky. Ash is excited about and promts it to go faster, but is then confronted by Iris riding on Zekrom. She promts to challenge him and use an thunderbolt to shock and sends him fall. This wakes him up from his dream. She explains that she couldn't wake him up so she order to Pikachu wake him with a Thunderbolt.

...and into his bed at Professor Juniper’s lab. He’s been dreaming, and when Iris couldn’t wake him up, she asked Pikachu to use Thunderbolt on him. She tells him to go get ready, because the next part of their adventure starts today! Ash is planning to head home to the Kanto region, and Cilan and Iris both decide they want to come along! Professor Juniper suggests that they travel to Kanto on a cruise ship that stops in the Decolore Islands, an idea everyone seems to like...including three eavesdroppers from Team Rocket.
 
Thanks to some Team Rocket trickery, our heroes end up aboard their small ship instead of the one that’s actually going to Kanto. Jessie, disguised as a ship’s attendant, gets Ash, Iris, and Cilan to leave their Poké Balls with her, and invites Pikachu and Axew along for a snack. She locks the Pokémon inside the playroom while James (disguised as the captain) takes our heroes to their room and locks them in too.
 
But one Poké Ball rolled away while Jessie was distracted, so Oshawott is free to explore the ship—and it quickly discovers Team Rocket’s plot! Oshawott attacks, and its Razor Shell hits the control panel, knocking out power to the ship and unlocking all the doors. Ash, Iris, and Cilan quickly reclaim their Pokémon and head to the deck to confront Team Rocket! A battle begins, even though Cilan warns fighting on a ship probably isn’t a good idea. And he’s quickly proven right when Iris tells Excadrill to use Dig—and it digs right through the bottom of the ship, which begins to sink!

{{Ash}} wakes up after having a dream about {{p|Reshiram}} and {{p|Zekrom}}. {{an|Iris}} bemoans Ash's sleepiness, and Ash realizes that Iris had {{AP|Pikachu}} use {{m|Thunderbolt}} to wake him up. Ash realizes they are back in [[Nuvema Town]], staying with [[Professor Juniper]], and Iris tells him to get dressed. Meanwhile, {{TRT}} informs {{an|Giovanni}} of their success in stopping [[Team Plasma]]. Giovanni congratulates them and eventually ends the call. Pleased and excited, [[Jessie]] suggests that they prove themselves worthy of their praise by catching {{AP|Pikachu}} and the other {{OBP|Pokémon|species}}, which {{MTR}} and [[James]] agree to.


Meanwhile, Team Rocket speak up with Giovanni that they manages to stop Team Plasma from controlling the Reshiram and the others Pokémon. Giovanni congratulates them for their work and Team Rocket becomes delighted from praising their work they made, but they proceed to countiune their plain of capturing Pikachu. Back at the Juniper's Lab, Ash and others are having dinner. Ash explains that he had a very dream, but he cannot tell them. Juniper had left message from her that succesfully watched Reshiram. Ash decided to head back at Kanto to show Professor Oak all he had a good journey, Iris and Cilan also proposed to go Kanto with him too, saying they are wating to become Dragon-type and Pokémon Connasuer. Ash agress to join with them for while, Juniper would take them back to the Kanto using Boat cruise instead of Plane that ride on it. Unova will next them to the another Island caleld Decolora Island and will take them back to Kanto. Team Rocket are watching at them at windows and hear voice what they said, so they decided to have plan to catpure Pikachu. Ash talks Oak about that they we're heading Decolora and then heading Kanto. Oshawott comes out of the Poke Ball and Ash thinks that he wanted to say "Hi". Junpier informs that she will take all the Pokémon Ash had captured it. Suddnely, Muk comes in and bump into Oak, ending the call.
Back at Juniper's lab, Ash tells Juniper about his dream, saying that it was awesome, except the weird ending. Iris, annoyed, states that it was not her fault that he could not wake up. {{an|Cilan}} and Juniper remind Iris that Ash was exhausted, and Juniper then asks Ash what his next plan is. Ash decides to return to [[Kanto]], shocking Iris, who then appears to think about something. Ash explains that he wants to tell {{an|Professor Oak}} about his journey, and Juniper asks Cilan his plan. However, Cilan is interrupted by Iris, who decides to go with Ash, with confirmation from {{TP|Iris|Axew}}, stating that she wants to learn more about {{t|Dragon}} [[type]]s from other [[region]]s. Cilan states that he was hoping to go with Ash as well to continue his journey to be top [[Pokémon Connoisseur]]. Juniper asks how they are going to get to Kanto, but Ash is not sure. Juniper suggests that they take a cruise through the [[Decolore Islands]], where several rare Pokémon live. Ash, Iris, and Cilan decide to take the cruise, which Team Rocket overhear, and begin coming up with a plan.


Juniper takes the group to the cruise ship and goes to buy a ticket for them. Meowth is watching at them in a distance and informs the plan begins. As Juniper leaves a ticket store, he is bumped into James disguises as old man, dropping her ticket in a process. James takes one of ticket and replace another ticket for schemche boat and takes to her. James then informs that his plain completed. Juniper gaves them a ticket (which is not real) and leaves to countiune her work. The group heads to a massive that will take them, he gives a ticket to Porter and finds it is not a actual for and is a different so he do not allowed to aboard in. The group becomes confused on why they we're not allowed to get him on board and wonders what ticket is for. They meet up with Jessie, who is disuged as a sailor woman. She insts to gave a ticket for there own false ship and they gave at them and she aggres to take them. She informs to Meowth that they maanages to take the group at them. They all aboard with James disuges as aboareder as well. Two explains about this place has a ticket for Pokemon as well and have some relaxation for Pokemon's that will do for them. They give their Pokemon for relaxtion for while while James takes them to the cabin. Pikachu and Axew play for while and run each other, Jessie permanmentley tells them to get back here, but upon Pikachu and Axew hear what he sad in confusion, she tells them to not get hurt. But Pikachu and Axew run, so Jessie follows them. While chasing after, she drops Ash's Oshawott Pokeball and release him. Osawott, realizng he got lost, run off to find somewhere.
Ash, Pikachu, and {{AP|Oshawott}} inform Professor Oak their plan to return to Kanto by boat. Juniper decides to send Ash's Pokémon from [[Unova]] over to Oak. {{AP|Muk}} shows its excitement about Ash returning by tackling Oak, causing Oak to hang up to calm Muk down.


Meanwhile, James takes the group to the cabin to stay here for while. The group a very small room and the bed appears to be badly extorded. Ash see wallpaper and collapse, so James pull it in time and says that this is much acts like an massive ship, much to group dismay. Cilan decided that they will have relax in here for while and James leaves them behind and, unbestknown to them, a door lock them with a red light on it. Meanwhile, Pikachu and Axew arrived at play room and Jessie gives a food for while. Jessie puts the remainming Pokemon (one is missing) at inside and traps them with red light appearing on the door.  
Arriving at the port, Juniper buys Ash, Iris, and Cilan their tickets. Meowth tells James to initiate their plan, and when Juniper emerges with the tickets, James, [[List of Team Rocket's disguises|disguised as an elderly man]], bumps into her, causing her to drop the tickets. He quickly switches the real tickets with three fake ones, and Juniper walks over to give them to the kids. Ash, Cilan, and Iris thank Juniper as she returns to work.


Meanwhile, Oshawott walk trough the boat and goes upstairs where he overhears of Team Rocket's what they we're planing, the traps Ash, Iris and Cilan and their repsetive Pokemon so they could capture the Pikachu. Back at the cabin, Iris decided to go to room where Axew is, but find the door is locked due to the red light on it. Ash tries to open, but dosen't work, Cilan tries to open, but this dosen't work too. At play room, after finishing their food, Axew see a red light that lock the door and tries to open, which also dosen't open it. Pikachu tries to help him too, but dosen't work too. Meanwhile, while Oshawott is watching at, Team Rocket deiced to settle the sea and throws the Ash and his friends out of the boat. Oshawott accidently enters the room and the group sees this and they try to catch him, but dodge and then uses an razor shell to destory the controls, releasing all people inside. The decied to meet with others, but Axew and Pikachu cannot leave their Pokemon behind, but decided to Ash to help them out. As the group race the through room, the group finds none of passesngers are not in the ship. They find Oshawott's Poke Ball that was drop out. Pikachu comes and reunite each other, Pikachu takes them to the Play Room where Axew and the others trapped Pokemon's are in. The group decided to leave the ship, knowing about this place is weird, but need to find Oshawott first.
The group heads over to their ship, while Cilan reminds Ash that this will be his and Iris's first time in Kanto. Cilan then gives [[Porter]] their tickets, but Porter informs them that their tickets are not for this ship. Bummed, the three try to find their actual ship. Jessie approaches them in disguise and tells them that their tickets are for her ship. Excited, the kids follow Jessie to a smaller, old ship. Jessie informs Meowth that she completed her part of the plan as James gives the heroes a tour of the ship. Jessie explains that they have a Relax-and-refresh-o-matic for their Pokémon, and a playroom for Pikachu and Axew. Ash, Iris, and Cilan give Jessie their [[Poké Ball]]s and send Pikachu and Axew with her, while James leads them to their cabin. Jessie accidentally drops Oshawott, who emerges from his Poké Ball and runs off to find Ash.  


Meanwhile, Oshawott becomes sorrunded as Team Rocket prepare to grab him until Ash and others arrived. Oshawott retrats to Ash, and they watned to who they are. So Team Rocket takes off their idenity and recite their motto. Everyone are shocked about and believe that they we're helping them to stop Team Plasma, but now became their foucs of capturing Pikachu insead. The two begins their battle with Jessie and James sending out Golat and Amonguss, respetively. Whilist Iris sends out Excadrill. Cilan wanrs the group that the battle will make a boat to collapse. Ash orders Pikachu to use an Iron Tall at Golat, but Jessie orders to dodge it. James orders Amonguss to use Body Slam, but Iris (accidentley) orders Excadrill to dig at the floor, causing the boat to sink. Everyone escape the sinking boat while Team Rocket are left behind. James and Jessie orders their respetive Pokemon to plug the sinking. But it cannot be unable to hold it too much and it sink again. Ash and others escape the oblivion while the one of engine explode, sending Team Rocket blasing off. They left a mail that has a ticket for actual crusie ship. However, Cilan realize that ship is about leave, so they head the boat and manages to get in time.
Ash and Iris are quick to complain about their cabin’s shabby nature, while Cilan says that it is really just old-world charm. James reminds them to remain in their cabin until the ship leaves port and leaves, the door locking behind him. Soon after, Pikachu, Axew, and Jessie arrive at the playroom, where Jessie puts the Poké Balls in the Relax-and-refresh-o-matic and tells the Pokémon to enjoy their stay. She then leaves, and the door locks behind her.


A man thanks them for arrival on the ship to the Decolora Island and introduces him as a Porter. He will help them anything he will do for it and Porter tells to enjoy for voyage for Decolora. Ash and his friends then countune towards journey to Decolora.
As Oshawott continues to explore the ship, he finds his way to the bridge, where he overhears Jessie, James, and Meowth discuss their plan. Enraged, he continues to listen. Oshawott, finally annoyed when he finds out that Jessie and James plan to leave Ash, Cilan, and Iris floating in the ocean alone, attacks the three Team Rocket members, who try to catch him. He accidentally {{m|Razor Shell}}s the button to unlock the doors, sending Iris flying as she was currently tugging on hers. The three decide to find their Pokémon while Pikachu leaves Axew and the playroom to find Ash to free the Pokémon from the Relax-and-refresh-o-matic. Cilan quickly realizes that they are the only passengers on the ship, and Ash finds Oshawott's Poké Ball. Pikachu soon arrives to tell them about the others, and after he and Ash hug, he leads them back to the playroom. Cilan frees the Poké Balls, and the group decide to escape the ship after they find Oshawott.
 
Meanwhile, Oshawott is about to get caught by Team Rocket, but Ash finds him and distracts the three villains long enough for Oshawott to get away. Team Rocket {{motto|introduce themselves}}, shocking and annoying Ash, Iris, and Cilan, who remind them that they helped them earlier. Jessie, James, and Meowth reveal their scheme, but Oshawott had stopped them. Jessie and James send out {{TP|Jessie|Woobat}} and {{TP|James|Amoonguss}} while Iris sends out {{TP|Iris|Excadrill}}. Cilan warns them not to battle on board, but the others ignore them as Pikachu uses {{m|Iron Tail}}, which Woobat dodges. Amoonguss tries to {{m|Body Slam}} Excadrill, who escapes via {{m|Dig}}. However, this causes the ship to begin flooding. While the group escape, Team Rocket have Amoonguss and Woobat plug the hole, which works temporarily—however, an explosion occurs and Team Rocket is sent blasting off as the pressure becomes too much for their small Pokémon to hold.
 
Ash catches an envelope containing their ''real'' tickets, and the group runs off to get on the correct ship, but it is about to leave. At the dock, Porter takes a moment to check his watch, when he overhears the group’s calls for the ship to wait. The group relaxes, relieved that they are finally on an actual cruise. Porter greets them and introduces himself, thanking them for choosing the ''Decolore Queen''. The group now leave Unova behind and head to Kanto via the Decolore Islands.

Farewell, Unova! Setting Sail for New Adventures! (Japanese: さらばイッシュ！新たなる船出！！ Farewell, Isshu! Setting Sail Once Again!!) is the 123rd episode of Pokémon the Series: Black & White, and the 780th episode of the Pokémon anime. It first aired in Japan on April 25, 2013 and in the United States on July 27, 2013.

Blurb

Ash is flying on the back of the Legendary Pokémon Reshiram and having a great time! Suddenly, they are confronted by Iris, who’s riding the Legendary Pokémon Zekrom and challenging them to battle! Zekrom unleashes a fearsome Thunderbolt that knocks Ash right out of the sky...

...and into his bed at Professor Juniper’s lab. He’s been dreaming, and when Iris couldn’t wake him up, she asked Pikachu to use Thunderbolt on him. She tells him to go get ready, because the next part of their adventure starts today! Ash is planning to head home to the Kanto region, and Cilan and Iris both decide they want to come along! Professor Juniper suggests that they travel to Kanto on a cruise ship that stops in the Decolore Islands, an idea everyone seems to like...including three eavesdroppers from Team Rocket.

Thanks to some Team Rocket trickery, our heroes end up aboard their small ship instead of the one that’s actually going to Kanto. Jessie, disguised as a ship’s attendant, gets Ash, Iris, and Cilan to leave their Poké Balls with her, and invites Pikachu and Axew along for a snack. She locks the Pokémon inside the playroom while James (disguised as the captain) takes our heroes to their room and locks them in too.

But one Poké Ball rolled away while Jessie was distracted, so Oshawott is free to explore the ship—and it quickly discovers Team Rocket’s plot! Oshawott attacks, and its Razor Shell hits the control panel, knocking out power to the ship and unlocking all the doors. Ash, Iris, and Cilan quickly reclaim their Pokémon and head to the deck to confront Team Rocket! A battle begins, even though Cilan warns fighting on a ship probably isn’t a good idea. And he’s quickly proven right when Iris tells Excadrill to use Dig—and it digs right through the bottom of the ship, which begins to sink!

Team Rocket blasts off on a huge spout of water, and our heroes manage to escape, finding their way onto the right ship this time. It’s all aboard for Kanto by way of the Decolore Islands, as the adventure continues!

Plot

Ash wakes up after having a dream about Reshiram and Zekrom. Iris bemoans Ash's sleepiness, and Ash realizes that Iris had Pikachu use Thunderbolt to wake him up. Ash realizes they are back in Nuvema Town, staying with Professor Juniper, and Iris tells him to get dressed. Meanwhile, Team Rocket informs Giovanni of their success in stopping Team Plasma. Giovanni congratulates them and eventually ends the call. Pleased and excited, Jessie suggests that they prove themselves worthy of their praise by catching Pikachu and the other Pokémon, which Meowth and James agree to.

Back at Juniper's lab, Ash tells Juniper about his dream, saying that it was awesome, except the weird ending. Iris, annoyed, states that it was not her fault that he could not wake up. Cilan and Juniper remind Iris that Ash was exhausted, and Juniper then asks Ash what his next plan is. Ash decides to return to Kanto, shocking Iris, who then appears to think about something. Ash explains that he wants to tell Professor Oak about his journey, and Juniper asks Cilan his plan. However, Cilan is interrupted by Iris, who decides to go with Ash, with confirmation from Axew, stating that she wants to learn more about Dragon types from other regions. Cilan states that he was hoping to go with Ash as well to continue his journey to be top Pokémon Connoisseur. Juniper asks how they are going to get to Kanto, but Ash is not sure. Juniper suggests that they take a cruise through the Decolore Islands, where several rare Pokémon live. Ash, Iris, and Cilan decide to take the cruise, which Team Rocket overhear, and begin coming up with a plan.

Ash, Pikachu, and Oshawott inform Professor Oak their plan to return to Kanto by boat. Juniper decides to send Ash's Pokémon from Unova over to Oak. Muk shows its excitement about Ash returning by tackling Oak, causing Oak to hang up to calm Muk down.

Arriving at the port, Juniper buys Ash, Iris, and Cilan their tickets. Meowth tells James to initiate their plan, and when Juniper emerges with the tickets, James, disguised as an elderly man, bumps into her, causing her to drop the tickets. He quickly switches the real tickets with three fake ones, and Juniper walks over to give them to the kids. Ash, Cilan, and Iris thank Juniper as she returns to work.

The group heads over to their ship, while Cilan reminds Ash that this will be his and Iris's first time in Kanto. Cilan then gives Porter their tickets, but Porter informs them that their tickets are not for this ship. Bummed, the three try to find their actual ship. Jessie approaches them in disguise and tells them that their tickets are for her ship. Excited, the kids follow Jessie to a smaller, old ship. Jessie informs Meowth that she completed her part of the plan as James gives the heroes a tour of the ship. Jessie explains that they have a Relax-and-refresh-o-matic for their Pokémon, and a playroom for Pikachu and Axew. Ash, Iris, and Cilan give Jessie their Poké Balls and send Pikachu and Axew with her, while James leads them to their cabin. Jessie accidentally drops Oshawott, who emerges from his Poké Ball and runs off to find Ash.

Ash and Iris are quick to complain about their cabin’s shabby nature, while Cilan says that it is really just old-world charm. James reminds them to remain in their cabin until the ship leaves port and leaves, the door locking behind him. Soon after, Pikachu, Axew, and Jessie arrive at the playroom, where Jessie puts the Poké Balls in the Relax-and-refresh-o-matic and tells the Pokémon to enjoy their stay. She then leaves, and the door locks behind her.

As Oshawott continues to explore the ship, he finds his way to the bridge, where he overhears Jessie, James, and Meowth discuss their plan. Enraged, he continues to listen. Oshawott, finally annoyed when he finds out that Jessie and James plan to leave Ash, Cilan, and Iris floating in the ocean alone, attacks the three Team Rocket members, who try to catch him. He accidentally Razor Shells the button to unlock the doors, sending Iris flying as she was currently tugging on hers. The three decide to find their Pokémon while Pikachu leaves Axew and the playroom to find Ash to free the Pokémon from the Relax-and-refresh-o-matic. Cilan quickly realizes that they are the only passengers on the ship, and Ash finds Oshawott's Poké Ball. Pikachu soon arrives to tell them about the others, and after he and Ash hug, he leads them back to the playroom. Cilan frees the Poké Balls, and the group decide to escape the ship after they find Oshawott.

Meanwhile, Oshawott is about to get caught by Team Rocket, but Ash finds him and distracts the three villains long enough for Oshawott to get away. Team Rocket introduce themselves, shocking and annoying Ash, Iris, and Cilan, who remind them that they helped them earlier. Jessie, James, and Meowth reveal their scheme, but Oshawott had stopped them. Jessie and James send out Woobat and Amoonguss while Iris sends out Excadrill. Cilan warns them not to battle on board, but the others ignore them as Pikachu uses Iron Tail, which Woobat dodges. Amoonguss tries to Body Slam Excadrill, who escapes via Dig. However, this causes the ship to begin flooding. While the group escape, Team Rocket have Amoonguss and Woobat plug the hole, which works temporarily—however, an explosion occurs and Team Rocket is sent blasting off as the pressure becomes too much for their small Pokémon to hold.

Ash catches an envelope containing their real tickets, and the group runs off to get on the correct ship, but it is about to leave. At the dock, Porter takes a moment to check his watch, when he overhears the group’s calls for the ship to wait. The group relaxes, relieved that they are finally on an actual cruise. Porter greets them and introduces himself, thanking them for choosing the Decolore Queen. The group now leave Unova behind and head to Kanto via the Decolore Islands.
