The episode begins with two {{tc|Team Plasma Grunt|Plasma Grunts}}, [[Schwarz and Weiss]] driving a truck during nighttime and come to a block in the road. As they move the barricades out of the way, {{an|N}} sneaks behind the truck and places a small device that unlocks the back door. Upon opening the doors N finds a caged {{p|Braviary}}. He releases it and they attempt to get away. However, the grunts see him and send out {{p|Seviper}} and {{p|Zangoose}} to stop him with {{m|Slash}} and {{m|Bite}}, respectively. N manages to block the attacks, saving Braviary, but they fall off the cliff in the process. Schwarz and Weiss had a tracking chip on Braviary neck that will track it down.
Two {{tc|Team Plasma Grunt|Plasma Grunts}} are driving with a track in near night. One Team Plasma grunts tells one who driving to watch out when he's driving, saying that they will get in deep trouble. He tells that he is a first class driver. The two stop the truck upon seeing a road block and the two grunts go outside to see it. While the group are watching, {{an|N}} sneaks out and uses an device to hack the back door open. When he opens, he finds a {{p|Braviary}} is trapped in cage. He releases it and attempts to get away, but one of the grunts sees this and they send out {{p|Seviper}} and {{p|Zangoose}}. The two order Zangoose and Seviper to attack them with {{m|Slash}} and {{m|Bite}}, respectively. N manages to block the attacks, saving Braviary, but they fall off the cliff in the process. The two grunts had a tracking chip that strapped in of the Braviary body's that will track them down.


Meanwhile, {{Ash}}, {{an|Iris}} and {{an|Cilan}} are still on their journey to White Ruins. Ash becomes confused to see everything dark. Iris becomes hungry and wants to eat, Cilan tells there's a Pokémon Center nearby. They suddenly find N and Braviary, who collapsed from their injuries. N tells then that Braviary got injuries its wings. The group takes them to the Pokémon Center to gave it a recovery. In the Pokémon Center, [[Nurse Joy]] heals Braviary. She tells them that Braviary's injuries made it unable to fly. N thanks her.
Meanwhile, {{Ash}}, {{an|Iris}} and {{an|Cilan}} are still on their journey to the [[White Ruins]]. Ash and Iris become anxious to get some rest and Cilan tells there's a Pokémon Center nearby. They suddenly find N and Braviary, who collapsed from their injuries. N tells then that Braviary is injured and the group takes them to the Pokémon Center. [[Nurse Joy]] tends to Braviary's injuries and mentions that Braviary is unable to fly due to them. N thanks her for help and comforts Braviary. Ash scans Braviary with his Pokédex and asks N what happened. N states that Braviary got captured by Team Plasma Grunts, in which Ash, Iris and Cilan exclaim that they encountered Team Plasma when they were using EM Waves to control Pokémon. N states that his mission is to liberate all the Pokémon under Team Plasma's control. The group propose to help N but he tells them that the mission is his own.


While N comforts Braviary, Ash scans it. Ash asks N what happened to that Pokémon, and he tells that Braviary got captured by Team Plasma Grunts, in which Ash, Iris and Cilan exclaims that they know them and tell N that they were controlling the Pokémon using EM Waves. N states that he has a mission to release all the Pokémon that we're captured by the Team Plasma. The group propose to help N, but N tells them that the mission is his own.
Schwarz and Weiss track Braviary to the Pokémon Center. Ash and his friends are pleased that N deeply cares about Pokémon and that they cannot forgive Team Plasma for capturing Pokémon. Schwarz and Weiss decide to cut the Pokémon Center's power to disarm the security system so they could sneak in and retreive Braviary. N finally notices Braviary's tracking device during the blackout. Ash, Iris, and Cilan are curious to what caused the power outage and Cilan states that the outside lights are on, so the issue was specific to the Center. N comes in with Braviary to inform them that the power outage was caused by the Team Plasma members that captured Braviary. Nurse Joy and {{p|Audino}} decide to go check the circuit breakers and Schwarz and Weiss sneak behind her. They enter the room where the Pokémon are resting and use night-vision goggles to find Braviary. They are too late as they see that Braviar's tracking device is moving. They go outside and see N and what appears to see Braviary. They send out Zangoose and Seviper and once again they order them to attack with Slash and Bite. It is revealed that Braviary wasn't there and that they have been fooled. They turn to N and demand to know where Braviary is, but N runs away, forcing the them to order their Pokémon to chase after him.


Meanwhile, the two Plasma Grunts are tracking Braviary and finds it with the tracking chip. Ash and his friends are pleased that N cares a lot about the Pokémon and they cannot forgive Team Plasma for capturing Pokémon. The two Team Plasma grunts successfully track down Braviary, and they decide to cut the power cord and disarm the security system so they could sneak in and capture Braviary back. N notices that Braviary has a tracking chip on it, just as the power goes out. The group are confused and shock to see the the place get a blackout, Cilan states that the lights outside the Pokémon Center is on. N comes in with Braviary to inform them that the two Team Plasma grunts are doing this. Nurse Joy and {{p|Audino}} are shocked to see the power go off and goes to the circuit breakers. The two Plasma Grunts sneak in and uses night-vision goggles to find Braviary, but they are too late. The Plasma grunts find it with the tracking device, and they chase after N, sending out Zangoose and Seviper and they order to attack them with Slash and Bite, respectively. However, they finds that N has tricked them, he was actually carrying a bed roll with the tracking chip on it. The two turn on N and demand him to tell where Braviary is, but N runs away, forcing the them to order their Pokémon to chase after him.
Meanwhile, Ash, Iris and Cilan are taking Braviary in the opposite direction. Ash and Cilan recall N telling them that they need to release Braviary somewhere safe. Iris runs ahead and finds the perfect location. However, Braviary refuses to go back as he worried about N. Ash orders and begs it to stop, mentioning that Team Plasma grunts will capture him. Ash realizes that Braviary knows that N is in trouble and Braviary dashes off to find N.

Iris finds the location for a safe place. However, Braviary refuses to go back, and starts running towards N. Ash orders and begs it to stop, saying that Team Plasma grunts will capture them. Ash and his friends suddenly realize that N is in trouble, since Braviary is running in his direction.
N is still running away from Zangoose and Seviper but they find and the two grunts catch up. Schwarz orders Seviper to use {{m|Screech}} and Weiss orders {{m|Slash}} on N. N proclaims that he will never give up on his mission and the two grunts order another round of attacks. However, Braviary gets here just in time to save N, along with Ash, Iris, and Cilan. Ash calls on {{AP|Pikachu}} and Iris sends out {{TP|Iris|Excadrill}} to battle Zangoose and Seviper. During the battle, Cilan reminds Ash and Iris to not underestimate their opponents as Seviper and Zangoose are well trained. Excadrill finally beats Seviper with {{m|Focus Blast}} and is recalled. Zangoose and Pikachu collide with two {{m|Iron Tail}} attacks and both Pokémon are struggling to get up. As Zangoose is about to finish Pikachu off with {{m|Mega Punch}}, Ash calls out to Pikachu, but  Braviary intercepts with {{m|Wing Attack}}. N watched the battles with awe. Ash then tells Pikachu to finish it with {{m|Thunderbolt}}. Schwarz and Weiss retreat after their loss and Ash thanks Braviary. Later, Ash, Iris, and Cilan watch on as Braviary goes back to the wild. N tells it that this is where it was meant to be and that it won't need to worry about Team Plasma again.

The two grunts run back to headquarters, and N releases Braviary to the wild, saying that this is where it was meant to be and that it won't need to worry about Team Plasma again.
Upon seeing N's injuries, the group takes him back to the Pokémon Center so Nurse Joy can treat him. N mentions that he will be going a bit past {{ci|Driftveil}} and they invite him to travel with them. N mentions that despite all that happened, he is still against Pokémon battles. However, he confesses that seeing them battle, made him experience feelings that he never felt before. So N decides that it will be an honor to travel together for a while.
 
As they go back the Pokemon Center, they find out that N is going to {{ci|Driftveil}} too, and they agree to travel together.

Saving Braviary (Japanese: N再び!ウォーグル救出作戦!! N, Again! Operation Rescue Warrgle!! ) is the 114th episode of the Best Wishes series, and the 771st episode of the Pokémon anime. It first aired in Japan on February 21, 2013 and in the United States on May 25, 2013.

Synopsis

The episode begins with two Plasma Grunts, Schwarz and Weiss driving a truck during nighttime and come to a block in the road.
