Trivia

  • Professor Oak's Pokémon Live Caster: Rufflet
    • The Live Caster was skipped in the TV Tokyo airing of this episode, instead it was followed by a trailer for Best Wishes Season 2: Episode N.
  • This episode marks the first time a Liepard has appeared in flesh in the series, after the episode it was supposed to debut in was postponed.

Errors

  • There's a Growlithe in the background during one scene and its eyes are basically dots, instead of the eyes that they should be.
  • When Emolga, Pikachu, Oshawott, and Scraggy are sent to find Axew, Scraggy's right arm briefly turns into the same color as its pants.
  • Espeon's Psychic was used to levitate Scraggy. In the games, this would not have worked, because Scraggy is a Dark-type Pokémon, and therefore immune to Psychic-type moves.
