Assunta (Japanese: サユリ Sayuri) is a character of the day from the Pokémon anime. Her English voice actress is Tara Jayne and her Japanese voice actress is 豊島まさみ Masami Toyoshima.

She appeared in Friends to the End, where she battled Ritchie in the first six-on-six battle of the Indigo Plateau Conference. After a fierce battle, both Trainers ended up with only one Pokémon left.

With her Ivysaur, Assunta was able to overpower Ritchie's Pikachu and win the match. With this win she advanced to the semi-finals.

It is unknown what happened to Assunta after this point.

Assunta's Rhydon's only appearance was in Friends to the End where it battled for a place in the semi-finals of the Indigo League against Ritchie. It was first seen battling Zippo, dodging its Flamethrower.

Assunta's Ivysaur's only appearance was in Friends to the End where it battled for a place in the semi-finals of the Indigo League against Ritchie. It was the last Pokémon Assunta had left and it battled against Sparky. Ivysaur instantly charges towards Sparky then uses Vine Whip knocking the Pikachu off its feet. Sparky uses ThunderShock but it fails to hit. Ivysaur hits Sparky with a powerful SolarBeam then it uses Tackle, fainting Sparky, giving Assunta the win.

Ivysaur's known moves are Tackle, Vine Whip and SolarBeam.
