Route 8 is separated path. The first part of Route 8 is from Connecting Cave to Ambrette Town. Then, it leads from Ambrette Town to Cyllage City. There's grass and flowers, where Pokémon thrive in.

Go south, fighting Trainers, jumping from rocks, and maybe catching some Pokémon. You will reach Ambrette Town, where Route 8 continues from a building.
