Route 29

Once you leave New Bark Town, you meet Lyra/Ethan again. But this time she/he tells you how to catch a Pokémon. Afterwards she/he gives you five Poké Balls.

Route 30

Northwest of here is Route 31, and to the east of that, there's Violet City. That’s the location of the first gym. Near the entrance to Route 31, there are three trainers that want to battle.

Route 31

To the north of here is Dark Cave, but the wise choice is going to Violet City first. Along this route you may find a few more Apricorns, which are quite useful. Once you are inside the entrance to Violet, Kotone comes again and gives you a VS Recorder you might find useful.
