This is the Bulbapedia walkthrough for Pokémon Gold and Silver.
These pages follow the original Game Boy Color iteration, not Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver. The guide for those games can be found here.

Route 15

Route 15

Several schoolchildren are visiting Route 15 on a field trip. After battling the group, you can cut down the tree on the east side to reach a PP Up.

Route 14

Route 14

The western part of Route 14 leads to the only patch of tall grass nearby, where more of the former Safari Zone Pokémon can be found.

Time for a Trade

The girl in the tall grass is hunting for a Chansey, a Pokémon that once could only be found in the Safari Zone. If you happen to have one to spare, she would happily trade her Aerodactyl for it. While Chansey are rare, this Aerodactyl is the only one of its kind.

Route 13

Route 13

Route 13 is comprised almost entirely of a large maze of fencing. On the way through the maze, be on the lookout for hidden items.

Route 12

Route 12

Route 12 connects Route 13 to Lavender Town, and intersects with Route 11 to the west. The south side is bounded on the west by small fields, and each of these holds an item.

Fishing Guru #3

The lone building belongs to the Fishing Guru's younger brother. Convince him that you like fishing to receive the Super Rod, the best fishing rod! This makes it possible to reel in more than just Magikarp and Tentacool, so be sure to try it out everywhere.
