The guide for those can be found here.

Radio Tower

1F

There are definitely more Rockets hanging around Goldenrod, and it's up to you to chase them off. Beat the lone Grunt on the first floor, and head upstairs.

2F

Beat the four Grunts here, and head up to the third floor.

3F

Defeat the two Grunts and the Scientist here, and advance to the fourth floor.

4F

There are only two Rockets patrolling this floor, so take them out and head up to the Director's office.

5F

Walking out of the stairway, you see the "Director" being held in his office. He approaches you, only to reveal himself as a Rocket Executive. Prepare for battle!

After his defeat, the Exec tells you that the real Director is being held in the Underground Warehouse, behind the previously-locked door in the Goldenrod Tunnel. He also gives up the Basement Key as well. There's a Rocket Grunt guarding the alley in front of the Game Corner, so you'll have to enter the Underground from the north. Follow the hallway east to the locked door, and get ready for a battle - your rival strikes again!

After he runs off, you have three Rocket Grunts nearby to take out.

With those three defeated, you're free to move on... sort of. Now you have to activate the three switches on the north wall in the correct sequence in order to reach the elevator in the southeast area (and the nearby items).

First, flip Switch #3 and battle the Burglar. Then flip Switch #2 and Switch #1 to battle a second Burglar, and reach a Full Heal. Go east, beat the Grunt, and walk through the doors into the Underground Warehouse.

In the next area, defeat the first Grunt and grab the Max Ether in the southeast corner. Beat the Rocket in the northeast, and take the stairs up to the Dept Store's basement for an Amulet Coin. Head back downstairs, and battle one more Rocket. Pick up the TM35 (Sleep Talk), and speak to the Director. After informing him about the Radio Tower, he gives you the Card Key, which will allow you to get past the shutter on the third floor.

Head back to the northeast stairs, and take the elevator up out of the basement.
Heal up your team, and get back to the Radio Tower!

Radio Tower

3F

On the third floor, and swipe the Card Key through the slot by the shutter. Battle the single Grunt, and take the stairs to the eastern area of the fourth floor.

4F (East)

Beat the two Rockets here, and take the stairs to the fifth floor.

5F (East)

Defeat the final two Executives here, and the Rockets will finally run off.

After the final battle, the top Executive formally disbands Team Rocket, just as Giovanni did three years before. The remaining Rockets disappear in the blink of an eye, and the Director returns to reward you with either the Rainbow Wing (Gold) or the Silver Wing (Silver). Either item will allow you to track down one of Johto's legendary birds. The Director gives a brief history lesson, saying that the current Radio Tower replaced an "old, creaky one", and that the item he just gave you was found at the top. He leaves for his office, and you can head back to Mahogany. On your way down through the tower, talk to Mary on 4F to get a Pink Bow, and the green-haired girl on 3F for TM11 (Sunny Day).

The next stop on the way to the Pokémon League is Blackthorn City, by way of Route 44.
However, the feather that the Director found lets you encounter Ho-Oh or Lugia, and either one will be an asset to your team.

To find Ho-Oh atop the Tin Tower, go here.

To find Lugia deep inside the Whirl Islands, go here.

Fly back to Mahogany, and head east to Route 44.

Route 44

Route 44

Route 44 is extremely straightforward. Trainers do not even have to venture through tall grass, since the only patch is isolated, surrounded by trees and water. Make sure you have a Pokémon that knows Strength, and head out to Ice Path.

Ice Path

Ice Path is a medium-sized cave that connects Route 44 and Blackthorn City. Like its name implies, it is known for its numerous icy puzzles and slick floors. It is worth noting that it is the only place that wild Swinub, Delibird, and Jynx are found.

1F

As you enter, you'll notice that the floors are sporadically covered by a glaze of ice, making attempts to traverse the cave slightly more challenging. From the entrance, slide over the first stretch of ice, and continue on to the second. This one is trickier, you need to slide up, left, down, left, up, right, up, right, down, left, up, left, down, right, down, right, up, right to get to the clear ground in the center. Continue to the ice patch to the right, start right next to the cliff (no visible rocks in your path)and slide left, down, right, up, left, down, left, up, right to get the item, HM07 (Waterfall). Walk up onto the rocky platform, and east to reach the stairs.

B1F

B1F

On this floor, you need to push the four boulders down the four holes in the floor. Walk up north around the row of stones, and south to the two boulders. Push the bottom boulder ?1, ?4, ?2, ?2, ?1, ?1, ?1, ?2, and through the hole to the floor below. While you're nearby, head back north to the other boulder, and push it ?1, ?5. Walk around to the southeast, and head up along the east wall to the third boulder. Shove this one ?1, ?4, ?1, ?2, ?5 to drop it through the eastern hole. Walk north past that hole, and you'll find the fourth boulder; push it ?2, ?1, ?3, ?1. Three down, one to go! Now that you're on the opposite side of the first boulder, push it ?2, ?4 through the northwest hole, and you're done. Head down the northeast stairs.

B2F

B2F

From the stairs, move to the bottom-left corner of the dry ground and face left. Go left, down, left, up, right to reach the area in the center of the floor. Pick up the Full Heal, and head down the stairs.

B3F

B3F

Not much to see here. Pick up the NeverMeltIce (you don't need Rock Smash for this), and go up the stairs.

B2F (east)

Walk up and around the rock platform, back and forth across the eastern ice patch, and head south from the platform steps to reach the stairs back to B1F.
In order to reach TM44 (Rest), you'll have to start in the corner of the ledge, jump it and slide south, and slide to the right.

B1F (south)

Head east across the rock platform to the steps, and slide ?, ?, ?, ?. From here, you have two options:

  • Move ?, ?, ?, ? to reach the southern section, and then ?, ?, ?, ? to reach the Iron

or

  • ?, ?, ?, ? to reach the dry ground in the center, and take the stairs to 1F.

1F (southeast)

From the stairs, move along the west wall, and then slide south over the ice to get a PP Up. Slide back up north, jump over the ledge, and slide across the ice one last time to reach the exit. Congratulations, you've made it to Blackthorn City!
