Route 115
If you decided to take the way through Rustboro, Verdanturf, and Mauville you will encounter Route 115. Once you exit Meteor Falls go down following the eastern edge until you get to a boulder that you can use Rock Smash on. Go and get the Great Ball and the Bluk Berries. After you get these items go to the western beach and get the Super Potion. Battle the Pokémon Trainers and catch some more Pokémon and continue to Mt. Chimney.
Note: This is the only route where Swellow and Jigglypuff can be caught.

Mt. Chimney
Once you arrive at Mt. Chimney you'll see two grunts blocking the exit to the south. Start going up the mountain and you will encounter three Team Magma grunts fighting against the leader of Team Aqua. Talk to them to see what's happening. Go to the western edge and fight two Team Magma grunts and one Team Magma Admin. Once you beat them go see what the leader of Team Magma is doing with the meteorite. He will say he will never let you stop him and challenge you to a battle. Once you beat him he will give up what he was doing and leave. The Team Aqua Leader will come and thank you. Once he leaves the exit that was blocked will no longer be blocked and There will be an elderly lady selling Lava Cookies for 200 Poké. Then take the exit that was blocked to encounter Jagged Pass.

Jagged Pass
Jagged Pass leads to Lavaridge Town. Get to Lavaridge Town by jumping over the ledges. Southeast of the Team Magma Grunt is a Burn Heal. Take it and continue climbing down the path until you reach the southern exit.

Lavaridge Town
When you arrive the first thing you'll see is a Pokémon Mart.
Poké Mart
The Pokémon Center is located near the hot springs. To get in the hot springs go through the door in the back of the Pokémon Center. When you're done healing your Pokémon, go to the lady in the front of the hot springs and she will give you a Wynaut egg. After you get the egg, go to the shop in the southeast part of the town. It is called the Herb Shop. The herbs will make your Pokémon less friendly.
Once your done go to the house one door down. The boy inside will teach one of your Pokémon the move Mimic. Finally, go the Lavaridge Town Gym.

Time to get the Balance Badge.
