Character recycling is a term used when a single visual design for the Pokémon anime is used in multiple episodes for different, unrelated characters, usually characters of the day. When character recycling occurs, the characters are generally identical in appearance, with only small cosmetic changes like hair color differing between episodes.

Tracey Sketchit
Tracey Sketchit debuted in The Lost Lapras as a traveling companion of Ash's. An unnamed lookalike later appeared in Tricks of the Trade.Another unnamed lookalike later appeared in Beauty and the Breeder.
Miss Priscilla
Miss Priscilla was featured in A Bout with Sprout. An unnamed lookalike teacher with differently colored hair later appeared in Doin' What Comes Natu-rally.
Pokémon League entrance exam instructor
