Release information
This card was included as a Regular card, a Full Art ultra rare card, a special illustration rare card, and a gold-etched hyper rare card in the Surging Sparks expansion, first released in the Japanese Paradise Dragona subset. The Regular, Full Art ultra rare, and hyper rare prints feature artwork by aky CG Works, while the special illustration rare print features artwork by Yuriko Akase.
In Japan, the Regular print of this card is reprinted as an SV-P Promotional card available as a winning prize for Paradise Dragona Sealed Battle tournaments with at least 4 participants, which were held at Pokémon Card Gym sites in Japan from September 13, 2024. This print features the "Sealed Battle" stamp on the bottom right corner of the artwork.

The special illustration rare print of this card forms a narrative illustration with the illustration rare print of Exeggcute from the same set. Following on the illustration on the Exeggcute card, the Exeggcute has evolved into a Terastallized Alolan Exeggutor, standing tall on the basketball court amidst some palm trees.
Origin
This card features a Terastallized Alolan Exeggutor with the Stellar Tera Type. The Swinging Sphene attack is named after sphene, the gemstone name of titanite, a titanium-containing mineral that is often greenish or brownish in color.
