Akira Ishida, born November 2, 1967, Nisshin, Aichi, Japan has been an employee for Mausu Promotion for 21 years (1988-2009), and has been successful in his seiyū carrer, earning "Best Supporting Character (male)" award at the first "Seiyu Awards" in 2007.

Akira Ishida, born November 2, 1967, Nisshin, Aichi, came to Tokyo in 1986 to study Theatre at Nihon University's School of Arts and joined Mausu Promotion in 1988 prior to his graduation. Upon graduation in 1990, he continued his affiliation with Mausu Promotion, but after 21 years with the company, he left in 2009 as a freelancer. He joined Gerbera Peerless Ltd.

In 2007, he notably earned the "Best Supporting Character (male)" award at the first "Seiyu Awards" for his portrayal of Athrun Zala in Gundam Seed Destiny. He was also selected as the most popular male actor in the 2004 Animage Anime Grand Prix for the same role.

Akira Ishida

Akira Ishida (Japanese: 石田彰 Ishida Akira) (born November 2, 1967) is a Japanese voice actor for the Pokémon anime. Ishida's most famous role in the anime is that of Falkner.

Biography

Akira Ishida, born November 2, 1967, Nisshin, Aichi, came to Tokyo in 1986 to study Theatre at Nihon University's School of Arts and joined Mausu Promotion in 1988 prior to his graduation. Upon graduation in 1990, he continued his affiliation with Mausu Promotion, but after 21 years with the company, he left in 2009 as a freelancer. He joined Gerbera Peerless Ltd.

In 2007, he notably earned the "Best Supporting Character (male)" award at the first "Seiyu Awards" for his portrayal of Athrun Zala in Gundam Seed Destiny. He was also selected as the most popular male actor in the 2004 Animage Anime Grand Prix for the same role.
