Aether Foundation (Japanese: エーテルざいだん Aether Foundation) is a Trainer class introduced in Generation VII. They are Pokémon Trainers who work for the Aether Foundation.

Most Aether Foundation Trainers are white-uniformed "Employees", appearing in the main storyline at Aether Paradise in a villainous role, similar to the Grunts of villainous teams. Masked scientist Employees are battled in the Foundation's secret lab. Most Employees keep their Pokémon in Great Balls, while scientist Employees use Repeat Balls.

Outside of the main storyline, Employees battled at the Battle Tree and Battle Royal Dome have distinct names and are friendlier. The Trainers at the Battle Royal Dome exclusively use Water- and Grass-type Pokémon.

Faba also uses this Trainer class in most of his post-game battles. He is a known Psychic-type specialist.
