Cliff (Japanese: クリフ Cliff) is a character of the day who appeared in The Beartic Mountain Feud!. He works for the Mountain Patrol.
Cliff showed up to protect Ash and his friends from a group of Beartic and later brought them back to his home in order to take a break. Cliff was impressed with Meowth's Pokémon translation abilities and attempted to catch him, but was unsuccessful.
Cliff explained to the group that the area has two Beartic populations, one at the foot of the mountain and the other at its summit. He guided the group through the forest to try to return the rescued Cubchoo to its family. His Mienfoo proved invaluable to the task, helping Cliff and the group to locate Pikachu, Oshawott, Tepig, Axew, Meowth, and Cubchoo after they became separated.
After sending Ash and his friends on their way, he decided to help the base mountain Beartic find a new berry foraging area to avoid future conflict.

Mienfoo is the only Pokémon Cliff has on hand and it assists him as a mountain guard.
Mienfoo's only known move is Quick Guard.
