After Main Story

When the player defeats Serena or Calem at Kiloude City, they informs the player that Professor Sycamore is waiting for them in Anistar City at the sundial with info on Mega Stone & the Mega Ring. At the sundial, Professor Sycamore tells the player that he has discovered a way to level up the Mega Ring. He tells the player to touch it against the sundial, and after doing so, he reveals that from 8 pm to 9 pm, the Mega Ring will resonate with Mega Stones that are underground. However, this will only be possible at that time, when the sun is shining through the sundial. It will not work at any other time.
