Wonder Skin (Japanese: ミラクルスキン Miracle Skin) is an Ability introduced in Generation V. Four Pokémon can have this Ability.

Effect

In battle

Wonder Skin halves the chance that an opponent's status move will affect the user. This includes moves that inflict status ailments (e.g. Thunder Wave's paralysis) as well as moves that alter an opponent's in-battle stats (e.g. Growl's reduction in Attack). It does not affect moves that alter status as a secondary effect (e.g. Thunder's chance to paralyze, or Rock Smash's reduction in Defense).

Outside of battle

Wonder Skin has no effect outside of battle.
