Klutz (Japanese: ぶきよう Clumsy) is an ability introduced in Generation IV. Two Pokémon have this ability, both from the same evolutionary line.
Effect
In battle
Klutz prevents the use of held items. The ability disables the effect of the held item, rather than preventing an item from being held. However, items which affect EXP, such as the Lucky Egg, can still be used. Also, items which effect Effort values, such as the Power Weight, can be used.
Outside of battle
Klutz has no effect outside of battle.
Pokémon with Klutz
Single ability
No Pokémon have Klutz as their only ability.
