Spirit Shackle (Japanese: かげぬい Shadow Stitching) is a damage-dealing Ghost-type move introduced in Generation VII. It is the signature move of Decidueye.


Spirit Shackle inflicts damage and prevents foes from fleeing or switching out as long as the user remains in battle. Wimp Out, Emergency Exit, the Red Card and the Eject Button can bypass this effect.


Games Description
SM The user attacks while simultaneously stitching the target's shadow to the ground to prevent the target from escaping.
