I don't know how correct that staff number is. To be honest, I can't remember where the info came from in the first place. Maybe someone could look into this? - Ferret 21:29, 27 Feb 2005 (UTC)
- It's 46 according to the official website. I corrected it so.--Sno 11:59, 26 September 2006 (UTC)
Aren't their HQ in Ceruluan ?--Mko 20:29, 27 June 2006 (UTC)
- In-game, I believe they're in Celadon. --Pie 21:05, 27 June 2006 (UTC)
Why doesn't Game Freak use Kanji in their Pokemon games?
Why doesn't Game Freak use Kanji in their Pokemon games?
- More than 1900 of them exist on the list of jōyō kanji, the official list of kanji used by the Japanese government and taught to students in Japanese schools. Hiragana and katakana, however, amount to just about 100 when put together. Considering Pokémon's supposed to be for all ages, they don't throw in difficult-as-hell kanji that kids won't know, especially ones that look really indistinguishable on a small screen. I say in RGBY/GSC it was mostly a space issue, but the continuation of it is likely due to tradition and so you only need a basic reading level to get what it means.
- Alternatively, I could be a jerk and say "they do, 円 is the currency, and 月, 日, and 年 appear on the Trainer card in Gen IV for the date you began your game". TTEchidna 05:37, 27 February 2010 (UTC)
The magazine
If someone has it, a scan of the front cover would be a really awesome addition to the page. TTEchidna 05:37, 27 February 2010 (UTC)
