Wurmple will evolve into either {{p|Silcoon}} or {{p|Cascoon}} starting at [[level]] 7 depending on its [[personality value]]. As personality values cannot be influenced by the player, what a given Wurmple will evolve into is essentially random. From there, the Silcoon or Cascoon will evolve again starting at level 10 into {{p|Beautifly}} or {{p|Dustox}} respectively.

In the various [[Pokédex]] entries on Wurmple, it is described as eating leaves or pulling the bark off of trees to feed on the sap. This makes them easy to attract with [[Honey]].

*Wurmple shares the same [[species]] name with {{p|Caterpie}}. They are both known as the Worm Pokémon.
*All four different species names belonging to Wurmple's evolutionary family are shared with a [[Generation I]] Pokémon.
*Wurmple is the only Pokémon whose branched evolutions evolve further. All other Pokémon with a branch in their evolutionary line either evolve once before the branch or do not have any other evolutionary event besides the one which is branched.
*Along with {{p|Clamperl}} and {{p|Burmy}}, it is one of the only Pokémon whose multiple evolutionary paths are all Pokémon of the same generation as it is.

I had to revert your edits to [[DP002]] and [[DP003]] because the links you put in were considered spoilers. I faced a similar situation before and the issue was settled [[Bulbapedia talk:Manual of style#Anime Pokémon links|here]]. Only on consecutive episode lists does this rule hold though. It's fine to do so on other articles, but not on episode articles.
