Alright guys, I have started to work on this page, but I have some questions:

1. In some location pages, the clouds that Alolan Diglett and other Pokémon appear in are called "dust clouds", while in others they are called "dirt clouds". Which one should be used in this page?

2. The Pokémon that dart out of dens in Verdant Cavern aren't identified as being ambush encounters in the Verdant Cavern page, however aren't they the same thing as the dust/dirt clouds except they happen at specific locations?

3. In the Haina Desert page, the ambush encounters are identified as "sand clouds", however, they work the same way as the dust/dirt clouds and the name "sand clouds" is also given to the encounters in Hano Beach, which work differently. What should be done in this case?

4. Should the bubbling fishing spots be included in this page? They aren't ambushes, but they work similiarly to the rippling water from Gen. V and I don't think they deserve their own page.

:1. Does the official guide book give a proper name for it? If so, we should use that name. For now, we can list it under dirt, as that makes more sense to me.
:2. They should be classed as ambush encounters. They stop you and attack you without fail when walking past.

::As far as I'm concerned, "ambush encounters" are based on a very specific mechanic: after a battle, they may drop an item. This means that, no, fishing is not an ambush encounter; and neither is Gen VI stuff that ''looks'' similar.
::I've also fixed all the pages to be consistent with the guide's divisions (which lists 8 kinds). [[Haina Desert]]'s ambush encounters aren't the same as dirt clouds like in [[Diglett's Tunnel]], though; they do look like [[Hano Beach]]. It'd be easy to miss, so you should also note that the pre-Totem Pokemon in the [[Vast Poni Canyon]] trial site are another ambush encounter (which is kind of different from any of the 8 in the guide). But I think the Gen VI stuff should be here. Like, the shaking bushes for example, work the same way in X/Y and Sun/Moon, the only difference are the items. But this doesn't mean it isn't the same, it's just that the mechanic was updated. But that's just how I see it, I don't have the X/Y guidebook, so I don't know what the Gen VI encounters are called there. ==Biology==
Dragalge is an aquatic {{OBP|Pokémon|species}} that resembles a {{wp|common sea dragon}}. Its body is curved in a way that vaguely resembles the number three. Its sides are a light purple with slender vertical lines, while most of the rest of its body is a dull brown. There is a light purple patch on its face surrounding its red eyes. It has a tubular, upturned snout and on the back of its head is a thin appendage. On top of its head is a red, leaf-like crest with two brownish-green antennae. On either side of its body is a skinny, leaf-like appendage and its tailfin also resembles a large leaf. There are three small spikes along its back.

Dragalge is a territorial Pokémon that will spit poison at whatever trespasses on its territory. Its poison is strong enough to melt the hulls of metal tankers. As a result, it is said that ships sailing through the seas where it lives never return. It hunts by hiding itself in seaweed and then ambushing prey, such as {{p|Finizen}}, with a spray of poisonous liquid. However, it is known to coexist well with {{p|Dhelmise}}. Dragalge can create {{t|Dragon}} energy by absorbing the sunlight through the plume on its head.

Cramorant is a blue avian {{OBP|Pokémon|species}} resembling a cormorant. It has bright green, large, circular eyes with small black pupils, and a large, thin yellow beak. It has a ruff of light gray feathers that goes around its torso and sticks out at the back, making it resemble a bib. It has a ruff of feathers on its head, with the largest clump pointing backward and being surrounded by small singular feathers. Its feet are black, webbed, and have three toes. Its wings seem to be perpetually spread outwards on its sides. Its tail feathers appear asymmetrical, with a slit between them on one side.

Cramorant is a gluttonous Pokémon with an instinctive desire to swallow anything whole. It generally hunts for prey along riverbanks. Its preferred prey is {{p|Arrokuda}}, but sometimes it tries to swallow other Pokémon such as {{p|Pikachu}}, attempting to spit them out if it realizes its mistake.<ref name=SwShsite/> As mentioned in the [[Sleep style|Sleep Style Dex]], Cramorant is known to occasionally sleep while still swallowing its prey. The reason for this behavior is unknown to everyone, including the Cramorant itself.

Cramorant is quite strong, to the point where it can knock out some opponents in one hit. However, it is also rather unintelligent, forgetful, and bad at learning, as the energy used by its brain is minimal. It tends to focus more on battling, but sometimes it can't remember what it is battling mid-fight. Despite this forgetfulness, Cramorant never forgets Trainers that it trusts. Cramorant has two alternate forms: Gulping Form and Gorging Form.

Cramorant cannot catch another Pokémon while in its Gulping Form or Gorging Form and therefore cannot change directly from one form to the other without first spitting out its catch.

Aside from its standard form, Cramorant has two additional forms: Gulping Form and Gorging Form. It will always be in its standard form outside of {{pkmn|battle}}, while its other two forms are activated in battle by its [[Ability]], {{a|Gulp Missile}}.

Cramorant starts battle in its standard form. If it uses {{m|Surf}} or {{m|Dive}} in this form while it has over 50% of its maximum {{stat|HP}} remaining, it will change into Gulping Form, which has an {{p|Arrokuda}} caught in its beak. If Gulping Form Cramorant is hit by a damaging [[move]], then Cramorant will spit the Arrokuda out at the attacker, which deals damage equal to 25% of their maximum HP, lowers their {{stat|Defense}} by one stage, and reverts Cramorant back to its standard form.

If Cramorant uses Surf or Dive in its standard form while it is at or below 50% of its maximum HP, it will change into Gorging Form, which has a male {{p|Pikachu}}—as seen by the shape of its tail—caught in its beak. If Gorging Form Cramorant is hit by a damaging move, then Cramorant will spit the Pikachu out at the attacker, which deals damage equal to 25% of their maximum HP, {{status|Paralyzed|paralyzes}} them, and reverts Cramorant back to its standard form.

These Arrokuda and Pikachu are never {{pkmn2|Shiny}}.

Cramorant may be based on two common seabirds present in the British Isles, the {{wp|cormorant}} and the {{wp|fulmar}}, a bird that uses {{wp|defensive vomiting}} to turn away predators; inspiration from the latter may also justify its primary {{t|Flying}} type, as like most petrels, fulmars spend most of their lives on the wing. Its {{a|Gulp Missile}} [[Ability]] may also draw inspiration from {{wp|cormorant fishing}}, an ancient fishing technique that consists of using trained cormorants to fish and spit the fish up.
