When forcibly consumed via {{m|Fling}}, {{m|Pluck}}, or {{m|Bug Bite}}, it also cures the consumer of its non-volatile status condition or confusion.

====Bag item====
When used from the [[Bag]] on a Pokémon, it cures that Pokémon of its non-volatile status condition. This consumes the Lum Berry.

In [[Pokémon Legends: Arceus]], it can be used to cure any status condition on a Pokémon, or thrown near wild Pokémon to draw their attention.
