In the trivia section, it states "They are also the first team where the leader is battled more then once, with N being battled a total of five times." However, in D/P, you battle Cyrus twice and in Pt you battle him 3 times. You also battle the leader of Team Aqua/Magma twice. == Villainous Team ==

Could it be argued (quite easily actually) that Team Plasma is not a "Villainous Team" at all. Outside of the Very end where Ghetisis goes completely off the rails, generally Team Plasma's cause is noble and their methods are not "Villainous" nor is their goal, it is heroic and noble. This game is Based on America, and their movement is easily compared to the anti-slavery movements of the Antebellum Period, this was a hard game for me to play due to this, so Team Plasma as a "Villainous Team" seems to be a mis-characterization. Team Plasma's cause is ostensibly noble, but they accomplish their goals through theft (the Dragon Skull), Pokémon abuse (Munna in the Dreamyard), and Pokénapping (multiple times). Honestly, you could say that Team Aqua and Magma weren't villainous teams, either—they felt that they were doing the right thing as well. Regardless of Ghetsis's claims that he is just one of the seven sages, he is the one pulling the strings: he was the one who organized the other sages, founded Team Plasma, and raised N to be their king, all to further his own selfish goals. N basically served as a figurehead, having firm beliefs and determination, but being naive enough for Ghetsis to manipulate. Your analogies to slavery are a stretch: Team Plasma themselves state that they forced Pokémon they freed to construct their castle. Meanwhile, the player, their rivals, and the Gym Leaders don't treat Pokémon as slaves or trained animals, but as friends and partners.

The fact is that the ones that follow N are no longer Team Plasma members, the game calls them "Ex-Team Plasma". And I wouldn't say they keep the same goal, all they preach is a respectful relationship between people and Pokémon, not the Pokémon liberation. Therefore, a better statement would be that the ones who did not leave Team Plasma after the events of BW, are now following Ghetsis and changed their motives. I am confused about the navigational box for Team Plasma. The navigational box still lists N as King and Anthea, Concordia and Rood as lower members. However, in Black2 and White2, N, Anthea, Concordia, and Rood have all left Team Plasma, and Ghetsis/Colress is the leader (Colress has the official title, but Ghetsis seems to be fully in control.) ===Defense===
The Normal type is a mixed bag defensively. It sports only [[Fighting (type)|one weakness]], but only [[Ghost (type)|one immunity]]. A fair number of Normal-type Pokémon also have high stats defensively. However, Fighting-type moves are very common and have gained popularity due to their advantage over the Normal type. This is made even worse by the fact that [[Generation V]] has introduced many common powerful Fighting-type Pokémon, as well as more powerful moves.

===Offense===
The type performs similarly offensively. There are only two types that resist Normal-type moves ({{t|Rock}} and {{t|Steel}}), and one type that is immune ({{t|Ghost}}). Normal-type moves cannot deal super effective damage at all though. This is somewhat countered by many Normal types being able to learn Fighting and Ground moves, which are super effective against both types that are resistant to Normal-type moves (excluding Ghost).

Is this trivia, or any kind of trivia like this, really needed? The sprites aren't going to have the exact same coloration as the artwork. I've looked at a lot of Hoenn characters who wear blue(Winona)/have bluish hair ( Steven, Brawly) and it seems that the blue thay wear is a bit more teal-ish in their Generation V sprites. * Will's hair falls over the left side of his face, leading to his left eye being whited out in some depictions. This has spurred debate as to whether he has one functioning eye or two. This is rectified in {{game|HeartGold and SoulSilver|s}}, where his overworld sprite clearly shows two eyes, both obscured by white.

==In the games==
Marlon appears in {{game|Black and White|s|Pokémon Black 2 and White 2|2}} as the eighth and last Gym Leader that the player challenges. He is a big-hearted [[Pokémon Trainer]] who gives passionate advice. Marlon also seems to be a very relaxed and carefree man, as shown by his obliviousness as to who [[Team Plasma]] are and what they do. He asks the player if Team Plasma are [[Villainous team|bad people]].

Marlon specializes in Water-type Pokémon. Upon defeating him, he will reward the player with a Wave Badge and {{TM|55|Scald}}. Outside of battle, Marlon is a fisherman who catches {{type|Water}} Pokémon which he would later use in future Gym battles.

Upon arriving in Humilau City, Marlon is absent from the Gym, and the player is sent to find him. The player meets Marlon just as they head north of the Gym, in which he returns to it and awaits a Gym battle. After the Gym battle, Marlon jumps into the ocean and swims away. Upon exiting the Gym, Hugh walks up and congratulates the player on gaining all eight of Unova's Gym Badges, and then their attention turns to Team Plasma, during which Marlon walks up and asks about them.

He heads off to the Seaside Cave to find the Plasma Frigate. Later on on Route 21, he is seen jumping off the Plasma Frigate after lowering the boarding plank, and then heads back to the Gym, leaving the player and Hugh to deal with Team Plasma.

In the battle, Marlon proves to be a powerful opponent, but is ultimately defeated and eliminated from the tournament. Afterward, Marlon decides to leave, only to be approached by {{adv|White}}.

When White asks him for information about the mysterious Hood Man, Marlon reveals that the Trainer made it to the League without even collecting any Badges. Despite this, Marlon tells White that she should focus her investigations on {{adv|Cheren}} because he seems even more suspicious than Hood Man.

Marlon appears in {{game|Black and White|s|Pokémon Black 2 and White 2|2}} as the eighth and last Gym Leader that the player challenges. He is a big-hearted [[Pokémon Trainer]] who gives passionate advice. Marlon also seems to be a very relaxed and carefree man, as shown by his obliviousness as to who [[Team Plasma]] are and what they do. He asks the player if Team Plasma are [[Villainous team|bad people]].

Marlon specializes in Water-type Pokémon. Upon defeating him, he will reward the player with a Wave Badge and {{TM|55|Scald}}. Outside of battle, Marlon is a fisherman who catches {{type|Water}} Pokémon which he would later use in future Gym battles.

Upon arriving in Humilau City, Marlon is absent from the Gym, and the player is sent to find him. The player meets Marlon just as they head north of the Gym, in which he returns to it and awaits a Gym battle. After the Gym battle, Marlon jumps into the ocean and swims away. Upon exiting the Gym, Hugh walks up and congratulates the player on gaining all eight of Unova's Gym Badges, and then their attention turns to Team Plasma, during which Marlon walks up and asks about them.

He heads off to the Seaside Cave to find the Plasma Frigate. Later on on Route 21, he is seen jumping off the Plasma Frigate after lowering the boarding plank, and then heads back to the Gym, leaving the player and Hugh to deal with Team Plasma.

Was it ever mentioned that winning the Pokémon League makes you that region's Champion in the anime? Tobias and Cynthia seem to be extremely different cases. In fact, I would think that winning the league would allow access to the Champion League, which as far as I understand it, is an invite-only tournament for Elite Four members, the regional Champion, and probably "Sinnoh League Victors" to compete in. I believe this page should use the VS Banner sprites for the pictures. I have a few reasons. One, they were used when the Champions were on the Elite Four page, and two, this will make them match the Gym Leaders, Elite Four, and Frontier Brains pages. (Also, I know that Steven and Wallace don't have VS Banners, but hopefully they will eventually.) Also on a somewhat related note, the Champion page should be added to The Pokemon League box that has links to all the main articles about the Gym Leaders, Elite Four, etc. I was not sure where to post that so I put it here. So if someone that can would be so kind as to do those things, I would really appreciate it. If you have any reasons as to why it shouldn't be done also I'd be interested to hear them.

I think we can all establish the fact that there is canon evidence to support Red being Champion (eg. HG/SS reference, actual Champion title given, he can be fought, etc.). However, the only problem I have with this piece of information as it is would be the location. Red shouldn't be under Indigo Plateau, rather it should be Mt. Yeah, but you can't choose to be champion. I think the champion is the strongest trainer in the region, or in the case of Indigo, regions. Basically, the champion is whoever defeats the last champion. I think while Alder had the legal title of Champion, but N was the true champion- he just didin't formalize it. I think it's sorta like how Lance is Champion in G/S/C/HG/SS, but Red is obviously stronger and was known to have beaten Lance a few years before. Maybe we should just include both of them. However, there are three romanisation which we did not use. There are: デンジ as Denzi (instead of Denji) and トウガン as Tougan (instead of Tōgan) and ヒョウタ as Hyouta (instead of Hyōta). ==Storyline in the games==
Kris's journey as a [[Pokémon Trainer]] begins when [[Professor Elm]] asks her to run an errand for [[Mr. Pokémon]], who lives north of [[Cherrygrove City]]. Because she may encounter dangerous [[wild Pokémon]] along the way, Elm gives her a choice between three Pokémon to protect her: {{p|Cyndaquil}}, {{p|Totodile}} or {{p|Chikorita}}.

Kris meets a boy watching Elm's Lab from outside. When she tries to talk to him, the boy abruptly shoves her away. The boy, {{ga|Silver}}, will become Kris's rival, analogous to {{ga|Blue}} in [[Generation I]].

Kris continues onward and finally meets Mr. Pokémon and completes her errand. While there she meets [[Professor Oak]] who, upon realizing Kris's bond with her new Pokémon, gives her a [[Pokédex]]. On her way back home, Kris again meets Silver, who has stolen one of Elm's remaining Pokémon. After defeating the boy in battle, she learns his name and relays it to the police in New Bark Town. Professor Elm allows Kris to keep the Pokémon she chose earlier, and encourages her to compete in the [[Johto League]].

From there Kris begins on a Pokémon journey in the [[Johto]] [[region]], facing off against its eight [[Gym Leader]]s, defeating and disbanding the newly reformed [[Team Rocket]], and becoming [[Pokémon Champion|Pokémon League Champion]] by defeating the [[Elite Four]] and its previous Champion, [[Lance]] at [[Indigo Plateau]]. Along the way she also teaches Silver to respect Pokémon as living creatures and not just as tools for battle. I suspect they're T&L's grandparents, but I can't be sure. Hank distracted Tate and Liza, and that's basically their only appearence in the story. They're all supposedly still at Mt. Pyre fighting illusions throughout most of the RSE story. The author kind of shoved them to the side.
