Michael B. Pollock (born March 9, 1965), credited as simply Mike Pollock, is an American voice actor for the English-language dub of the Pokémon anime. He is currently affiliated with Sheppard Talent, Take 3 Talent, and MCVO.

Biography
Pollock began to provide voices for Pokémon during the fourth season. In Pokémon the Series: Ruby and Sapphire, he gained his two most important roles in Pokémon, providing the voice of Raoul Contesta and the narrator, the latter of which he took over from Rodger Parsons. As with most other voice actors who worked with 4Kids Entertainment, he left after the eighth season, when Pokémon USA and TAJ Productions took over the dubbing and distribution of the series.

Pollock returned to the series under the pseudonym Herb Lawrence in Luxray Vision!. In Yes in Dee Dee, It's Dawn!, he reprised the role of Raoul Contesta. Thus, he became the second voice actor to reprise a role of his that was previously done in the 4Kids dub, after Giovanni's voice actor Ted Lewis.

Erica D. Schroeder (sometimes credited as Bella Hudson) is an American voice actress for the English-language dub of the Pokémon anime. She is currently affiliated with Stewart Talent Agency.

Biography
Schroeder was born on April 27, 1975, in Mandan, North Dakota, and became a voice actress as an adult. She first began providing voices for Pokémon during the sixth season. Her initial major role was that of Nurse Joy, replacing Megan Hollingshead until the end of the eighth season, when Pokémon USA and TAJ Productions took over the distribution and dubbing of the series and she, too, was replaced, this time by Michele Knotz. In Bibarel Gnaws Best!, she provided the voice of Isis, making her the first female 4Kids voice actress to return to the series.

During her time working with the anime, she has voiced a few notable characters such as Nurse Joy and Kenny, who she shared with other voice actresses, whether succeeding, preceding, or even both. For the most part she voiced characters of the day or minor recurring characters. In Pokémon the Series: Black & White, she was given numerous important roles such as Bianca, Ash's Unfezant, and Ash's Leavanny. It was also, at that time, when she started being credited solely under her real name. In Pokémon the Series: Sun & Moon, she took over the role of Jessie's Wobbuffet from Kayzie Rogers.
This is a list of background references to Pokémon, instances where non-Pokémon media make a minor mention of the Pokémon franchise, merely use a Pokémon catchphrase, or have a Pokémon character or item briefly appear in the background or as a visual gag. This is a list of background references to Pokémon, instances where non-Pokémon media make a minor mention of the Pokémon franchise, merely use a Pokémon catchphrase, or have a Pokémon character or item briefly appear in the background or as a visual gag. The following list is sorted alphabetically by the name of the work making the reference.

Substantive references that play an important role or refer to specific details of the franchise can be found on the list of references to Pokémon in popular culture.
