The Oreburgh Gym (Japanese: クロガネジム Kurogane Gym) is the official gym of Oreburgh City. It is based on Rock Pokémon. The Gym Leader is Roark. Trainers who defeat him receive the Coal Badge.

In the anime
The Oreburgh Gym first appeared in Shapes of Things to Come, when Paul challenged Roark. Ash watched this match, and in the next episode lost to Roark because his concentration was instead on besting Paul. After some heavy training in Wild in the Streets! and some advice from Dawn, Ash re-challenged Roark in O'er the Rampardos We Watched. This time, he won the match, gaining his Coal Badge.

In the games
The Oreburgh Gym is a narrow building built of stone. Two paths exist, a raised path that avoids the trainers and a middle path that takes challengers straight through the gym. Roark waits on a raised hill at the end of the paths. Although only two trainers actually appear in the Gym, most of the miners in the Oreburgh Mine are also members who relax at the Gym in their free time.

* The story that Cleavon Schpielbunk had for his movie is obviously based of the play Romeo and Juliet, written by William Shakespeare.
* Cleavon Schpielbunk's name is probably based on the director, Steven Spielberg.
* In the dub, when the Pokémon were dancing, the Pokémon Dance Mix plays as background music.
* Cleavon's motto is similar to the Team Rocket motto.
* This episode's dub title is a reference to the popular movie phrase, Lights, Camera, Action!
*The Japanese name for this episode is 'Pokémon the Movie' title of the The Second Movie.

Errors
*Cleavon Schpielbunk said he won the "Golden Growlithe", yet the statue that's being shown behind him is an Arcanine.
Trivia
* Bulbagarden itself was named after this episode.
* Team Rocket blasts off twice.
* The episode's name is a pun on Bulbasaur's Japanese name, Fushigidane; where fushigi means "mysterious".
* Although it was never aired in syndicated form on Cartoon Network in 2003, it made its debut on September 13, 2007 at 6:30 AM ET

Errors
*When Cartoon Network aired this episode on September 13 and September 15, a brief scene of Pikachu with a Poké Ball on its head from the original Japanese credits with the words "Now Back To The Show!" is in the fade between the two parts of Who's That Pokémon. <!-- Make sense next time by describing it briefly -->
