Since Ash caught a [[Ash's Gligar|Gligar]], it is likely it will evolve into Gliscor during the Sinnoh Journey. All Ash needs to do is find or receive a [[Razor Fang]], train Gligar at night, then it'll evolve!

:I doubt it. The only time Ash has ever not taken a {{2t|Normal|Flying}} to a league was [[Orange League|in a filler arc]]. Additionally, all of his signature Flying-types have been able to learn {{m|Fly}}, which neither Gligar nor Gliscor can learn. Just because Ash captured a Pokémon doesn't mean it has to stay on his team forever. Imagine this....Ash meets a trainer with a powerful Gliscor. Ash challenges her to a battle with his Gligar. Instead of winning it gets beaten up badly. Ash then realizes Gligar could become much stronger if it stays with that trainer. So he gives Gligar to her saying he would return for it later, like {{TP|Ash|Pidgeot}} and {{TP|Ash|Primeape}}. The electric Gym battles of Ash didn't focus much on the electricity.But I think Volkner's electricity would be really strong as it is the last Gym and because of the Anime Psychic, Gliscor would probably be hurt by it easily and Rhyperior or Mamoswine is strong and at least they does not have weakness against electricity.-[[User:Billy4b2004|Billy4b2004]] 13:38, 25 January 2008 (UTC)

Oh, thanks for reminding me, I almost forget about how Ash got Turtwig and Chimchar are similar to the way how he got Charmander and Bulbasaur.Chimchar and Turtwig's types are corresponding to that of Charmander and Bulbasaur and they are both starters while Gligar's type isn't corresponding to that of Squirtle and it is not a starter like Squirtle, we can still say it is unpredictable in this way.Well, I think Chimchar would be fully evolved like Charmander but it woundn't disobey Ash as he treats it really well and I think Turtwig will go to an evolution ceremony presided over by a Torterra but it wouldn't refuse to evolve because it wanted to help Ash beat the abusive rival's Torterra.It would be very different from the past due to the difference between Paul and Gary.-[[User:Billy4b2004|Billy4b2004]] 07:06, 26 January 2008 (UTC)

Yes I know I keep doing this but this time I have good evidence. In the trailer for the 11th movie near the end you can see everyone and their team. Well you see a gliscor but you dont see gligar so i think the page should be protected or something.

Well, the movie is going to be in theaters in July, which is like 5 months way. I'd bet that Gligar is going to evolve. When you think about it that's 20 episodes to air (maybe more, maybe less). -Dean

Would it be worth noting Gliscor being smaller than normal especially when compared to another Pokémon? (Paul's Drapion is a perfect example) I mean, Drapion at average is 4 feet 3 inches and Gliscor is normally 6 feet and 7 inches. So Gliscor should have been taller than Drapion. And yet when Gliscor battles Drapion, the Drapion appears alot larger than Gliscor. And in some scenes with Ash, Gliscor seems to appear different size sometimes. Does Gliscor really have to be unconfirmed? I agree fully that information must be confirmed, but I cannot see any reason why Ash would have chosen to deposit Gliscor at the lab instead of returning it to training. Here are my arguments:

*Neither Charizard in [[AG136]] or Squirtle in [[EP267]] were shown explicitly to be sent back to Training, it is presumed that that is where they are headed. I admit that their return to these locations has been confirmed in later episodes, and the reason for the doubt is because Ash deposited his entire Sinnoh team back home (which is also presumed, by the way, if we were being strict about it, Torterra, Staraptor, Infernape, Buizel and Gible would all be unconfirmed as well).
*Gliscor was last used in battle with Paul, along with the rest of Ash's Sinnoh team (save Gible). So it is presumed that Gible was sent back to Oak's when Gliscor joined Ash's team from its training point. So when Ash needed to call up Gible, Swellow, Torkoal, Sceptile and Heracross, Ash had to make five spaces in his team, and we know that Pikachu would be kept, so Gliscor, Torterra, Infernape, Buizel and Staraptor needed to go. However, why would Ash sent his Gliscor back to Oak's when he finished using it? He never sent Charizard or Squirtle back after he finished using them, he would always allow Charizard to fly home and Jenny to pick up Squirtle. Doesn't it make perfect sense and fit in with the way Ash does things for him to have allowed Gliscor to fly back?

And wait we shall... this evolution debate has become very big and exciting across forums now. It's actually quite an interesting puzzle to work out all the clues and look at the facts to see what will happen. I still hope it evolves, because that would be a big surprise. It would be fantastic if we saw a preview of it evolving... the white light surrounding its body, it changing shape, the white light disappearing and it being permanently changed into a Prinplup. This would be fun to see, but sadly, all signs are pointing to it not evolving... most people on different forums have said things like "It may just be Piplup's Mysterious Garden", "Piplup might just have got run away lessons from Misty's Psyduck" and my personal favourite "Piplup might pull a Bulbasaur". Currently I'd say 80% chance it'll not evolve, 20% it will.

We have to wait just over half a month, but it'll be totally worth it to see the answer. Plus, as time goes on, we may start seeing previews and pics, and then the Arceus poster might get updated with Piplup replaced with Prinplup... the suspense is killing me! Oh yeah, just one more thing. If it turns out that it doesn't evolve and it stays the same, I won't be furious or anything. I know there was an edit war before, with the whole was Snivy at Junipers and whatnot. Although it was the dub, Elesa clearly asked Ash if Ash had just Palpitoad, to which Ash expressed a nervous laughter, which clearly meant that it was true. So it is entirely possible that he left Pokeballs in another room, or with someone like Joy offscreen. In the japanese, it was never clearly stated that Ash went to Juniper and in the dub, it was implied that Palpitoad and Pikachu) were Ash's only Pokemon on hand. Despite being older than Ash, she has only just started her journey due to her father not allowing her to become a Trainer when she turned ten.

Bianca is shown to be very excitable, for instance when a {{TP|Bianca|Minccino}} stole the Badge case and Ash attempted to use {{AP|Oshawott}} to get it back, Bianca commanded him to use {{m|Hydro Pump}} despite the fact that Oshawott wasn't her Pokémon nor did he even know that move. She later made the same mistake when she commanded {{AP|Pikachu}} to use {{m|Zap Cannon}}.

She also had a battle against {{Ash}}, where she used her Pignite against his Pikachu. Ash was planning to use Oshawott for said battle but Bianca demanded that he use Pikachu. She lost the battle after putting up a hard fight.

Prior to ''[[BW024|Emolga the Irresistible!]]'', Bianca joined the group and accompanied them on their way to [[Nimbasa City]]. She was enjoying an evening lunch with Ash and {{ashfr|company}} when [[Iris's Axew]] drops a fruit down a hill where it is caught by a wild {{TP|Iris|Emolga}}. She then runs after Emolga and smothers her in hugs. Determined to catch Emolga, Bianca challenges her to battle Minccino, who ends up losing. Emolga then flies off and Bianca chases after her. After several failed attempts at catching Emolga, Bianca is crushed to find that Emolga accepts Iris as her Trainer instead.

In ''[[BW025|Emolga and the New Volt Switch!]]'', Bianca wanted to have a battle with {{an|Iris}}'s newly caught Emolga. However, Emolga had other interests besides battling and kept using {{m|Volt Switch}} to get other Pokémon to battle Bianca instead including [[Iris's Excadrill]], [[Cilan's Pansage]] and [[Ash's Snivy]]. She also used her Pignite against Snivy for a short training session. After learning Ash earned three Badges already, Bianca leaves the group in hopes to win more Badges on her own.

Bianca met up with Ash and friends again in [[Nimbasa Town]] in ''[[BW039|Reunion Battles In Nimbasa!]]''. She was enamored with [[Luke's Zorua]] and attempted to catch her not knowing that she already had a Trainer. Bianca also decided to enter the [[Club Battle]] tournament along with the group. In [[BW040|the next episode]], she battled [[Stephan]] in the first round of the tournament where she used her Minccino against his {{p|Zebstrika}}. Zebstrika proved too powerful and defeated Minccino, thus knocking Bianca out of the tournament.

Bianca reappeared in ''[[BW049|Enter Elesa, Electrifying Gym Leader!]]'' where she battled [[Elesa]] in a Gym battle. However, all of her Pokémon were defeated by Elesa's Zebstrika.

Bianca reappeared in ''[[BW062|Crisis at Chargestone Cave!]]'' where she revealed that she was going to trade her {{p|Shelmet}} for [[Professor Juniper]]'s {{p|Karrablast}}. However, before that, the wild {{p|Galvantula}} and {{p|Joltik}} in the area started to cause trouble so she decided to help Ash and the group deal with the problem. In the end it was revealed that {{TRT}} was behind the whole ordeal and after helping defeat them, Bianca met up with Professor Juniper.

In ''[[BW063|Evolution Exchange Excitement!]]'' Professor Juniper and Bianca traded their Shelmet and Karrablast together, making them [[evolution|evolve]] into {{p|Accelgor}} and {{p|Escavalier}} respectively. However, as soon as it had evolved, Escavalier started disobeying Bianca. To improve their team work, Bianca and Professor Juniper decided to use their new Pokémon in a [[Tag Battle]] against [[Cilan's Crustle]] and [[Ash's Boldore]]. As Accelgor protected Escavalier by using {{m|Substitute}}, the two Pokémon started to work better as a team, and they were able to defeat {{p|Boldore}} together. Despite that both Accelgor and Escavalier were then defeated by Cilan's {{p|Crustle}}, Bianca was glad that her new Pokémon was now obeying her.

Bianca reappeared in ''[[BW070|The Clubsplosion Begins!]]'' in order to register in the [[Clubsplosion]] tournament. She discovered that her first opponent was [[Trip]] who took her very lightly as an opponent. Her battle with Trip began in ''[[BW071|Search for the Clubultimate!]]'' where it was revealed she had evolved her Pignite into {{TP|Bianca|Emboar}}. Though Emboar was on the field, Bianca was nowhere to be found. A bit later she runs onto the battlefield, claiming that she was late because she was too busy touching [[Domon]]'s {{p|Mienshao}}'s muscles, then trips and falls on her face. However it does not get her down and is as eager as ever to get the battle started.

She has Emboar attack with moves like {{m|Arm Thrust}} and {{m|Hammer Arm}} but Trip has {{TP|Trip|Conkeldurr}} block with its concrete pillars. Bianca becomes concerned about losing the battle after Emboar becomes trapped in Conkeldurr's {{m|Rock Tomb}} and cannot evade its {{m|Stone Edge}}. However, [[BW072|in the next episode]], Bianca cried to Emboar to do something before the attack made contact. A smile then comes to her face seeing that Emboar actually caught the stones in his arms. She then commanded him to use {{m|Fling}} to send the rocks back at Conkeldurr. Conkeldurr becomes distracted by it and Bianca has Emboar take its concrete pillars from it then used Fling again to throw them back at it, which knocked out Conkeldurr and got Bianca through to the second round.

Later on, Bianca discovered that her opponent for the second round was [[Georgia]] and her {{p|Bisharp}} whom she defeated rather quickly. She then battled Stephan again in ''[[BW073|Commanding the Clubsplosion Crown!]]'', but lost.

Much like her game counterpart, Bianca is a sweet girl but is also an airhead. She is also somewhat clumsy and unorganized. Every time she meets up with the main characters, she runs excitedly towards them then trips causing her to collide with Ash and knocking him into a body of water. Afterwards, she apologizes to him profusely.

Bianca has a soft spot for cute Pokémon like {{p|Minccino}}, {{p|Emolga}}, and {{p|Zorua}} and will stop at nothing to try to capture them. In fact, she spends a few episodes of the Club Battle arc trying to get a hold of Luke's Zorua who keeps disguising herself to trick her. Adding to the fire, but, seriously, the answer to the problem is in his name. If his game article is going to be called "Pearl (game)", then "Jun (anime)" should deserve his own page, BECAUSE he's not called Pearl. GLs, the five partners, all direct game references with no name changes don't deserve their own separate page.

HOWEVER. Jun's game name defaults as Pearl. He is not Pearl. He is Jun (and hopefully, in the future, Barry). He should get his own paged based on the fact that he isn't called his default game name, just like Ash isn't called Red and Gary isn't called Green/Blue. Jimmy and Marina do the same in LOT, though they didn't exactly name the thing.

Essentially, though, here's what it is: Game protagonists and rivals who appear in the anime get a separate page for their anime iteration if their role is large enough. {{ga|Silver}} appeared in the opening for LOT, and nothing else (plus {{an|Silver}} is that old guy who everyone <s>knows</s> thinks is [[Ash Ketchum|the idiot]]'s dad anyway). {{ga|Brendan}} was in the opening segment of three movies, but did little more than send out one Pokémon and order it to use a move.
