The only sprite trivia permissible is for changes in the design of the Pokémon between generations. Also, FYI, the generation numbers (i.e. Roman numerals) use capital I, not a pipe. ==Discrepancy in Pokedex entries==
In the article's Pokedex entry for Red and Blue, it says that Farfetch'd carries a "spring" of green onion. If I'm not mistaken (and I don't think I am because I have the actual Pokedex entry from the game open in front of me), it's actually supposed to say "sprig" (as in a shoot of a plant). I noticed that this article doesn't address a common misconception surrounding this Pokémon during the times of generation I. I distinctly remember that this Pokémon was believed to belong to Doduo's evolution family, and some related media in Europe reinforced this misconception (e.g. a sticker album placed Farfetch'd > Doduo > Dodrio in the same rectangle, implying a three-stage evolution family. In the United States, Tomy figures representing the three characters were packaged together somewhat implying the same thing (though some three-figure sets did not group an evolution family (e.g. Tauros, Porygon & Kangaskhan and Oddish, Ninetales & ?Pidgeotto?). Should this error be included as part of the trivia section? Considering that both Farfetch'd and Doduo (and to a lesser extent Dodrio) were easily obtainable in the wild, there was little need to (try to) evolve Farfetch'd to obtain its evolution, so the mistake wasn't immediately cleared up. The reference is indeed a direct reference to "A Dog of Flanders," a European fable very well-known in Japan which was adapted twice into an anime series.
