Black is a young man who aspires to be the Champion of the Unova Pokémon League. He has been dreaming of this since childhood, nine years to be exact. However, these dreams fill his head to the point where he cannot think about anything else and any attempts to causes him to pass out from mental exhaustion. With his Munna, Black can have him {{m|Dream Eater|eat his dreams}}, which he refers to turning his mind from "blank white" to "solid black" or "Detective Time" (Japanese: '''推理タイム'''). Doing this allows him to think much clearer, become smarter, and improve perception. Also, when he does this, he apparently sees in hexagons. Because of his dreams causing him to forget about other things, Black has the tendency to do things without considering the consequences of his actions and their effects on other people. As the series goes on, Black slowly begins to consider the feelings of others and even manages to be able to think about other things for brief periods of time.

He has been described as "hot blooded" by several characters due to his loud nature and tendency to do things on his own. He doesn't understand show business like White does and many aspects of it surprise him, such as [[Gigi]] and [[Tep]] getting to stay in a hotel room while he and White have to camp out. He is very familiar with libraries and went there frequently as a child, allowing him to complete [[Lenora]]'s gym puzzle very quickly, setting a new record in the process. Black's tendency to dream also causes him to miss the things happening around him, such as when he completely forgot his promise with his friends {{adv|Cheren}} and {{adv|Bianca}} once he received the package holding the Pokémon and [[Pokédex]]es they were going to receive.

Black is first seen waiting for a package that is being delivered to his house after waiting all night in the rain. After receiving the package from a mailman, he immediately opens it and finds three Pokémon, {{p|Oshawott}}, {{p|Tepig}}, and {{p|Snivy}}, and three Pokédexes inside. He jumps in glee and accidentally releases the Pokémon from their Poké Balls after his cold causes him to sneeze and drop the box. The three Pokémon quickly get into a fight and Tepig runs off while Black follows it.

He eventually finds Tepig on a tree being attacked by an unknown Pokémon. Using his deduction skills, he has his {{p|Munna}}, Musha, {{m|Dream Eater|eat}} his dreams, allowing him to find out the attacking Pokémon. Using his abilities, Black and the Tepig defeat the Pokémon, a {{p|Sewaddle}}. Black is able to convince the Tepig to go with him and they set off to start their journey. Before leaving, Black flies to a library to find out the evolved form of Tepig so he can think of a proper name for him. Tepig, mistaking that Black isn't happy with his current form, runs off; Black follows him once more. Black finds Tepig in a cave, sulking and after trying to get him to calm down, accidentally causes a wild {{p|Woobat}} to attack them. Black manages to get Tepig to defeat the Woobat and decides to name him "Tep" instead of a name based on his final form; the two then set off to finally start their adventure.

On {{rt|1|Unova}}, Black meets {{tc|Hiker}} Andy and defeats him in his first Battle. Black finds out that Andy used to have the same dreams as he does, to beat the Pokémon League, but because of his weakness to heat, he had to give up. After putting out a fire, Black manages to convince the Hiker to restart his journey, even letting him join in his morning routine.

Later, when doing his normal routine, Black inadvertently interrupts an [[Xtransceiver]] commercial shooting. He meets {{adv|White}}, the representative of the [[BW Agency]] and she tries to convince him to help her by letting his male Tepig, Tep, be partnered with her female Tepig, Gigi, in a movie shooting. Suddenly, five crew members are knocked unconscious and Black is suspected of being the attacker. Black proves his innocence by finding the real culprit, a {{p|Galvantula}}, and defeating it. Black is then pointed out that he, in the process of defeating the Galvantula, destroyed all the camera equipment. He is prevented from getting in trouble for this by White who claims they just hired him and puts the cost for all the damages on the BW Agency. Black is forced to help White till he pays off his debt, fifty paychecks worth of commercials. He now refers to her as "Boss".

The night after, Black and White camp outside and are attacked by an unseen Pokémon. Using his abilities, Black finds out that the Pokémon attacking them is a {{p|Timburr}} that is helping a group of people in knight uniforms known as [[Team Plasma]] build a stage. The next day, Black and White witness one of Team Plasma's "sages", [[Ghetsis]], make a speech that causes the people around them to start releasing their Pokémon.

Enraged, Black goes to try and stop Ghetsis from making anymore speeches only to be stopped by a young man named [[N]] who has the ability to understand Pokémon by listening to their hearts. Black and N battle each other, only for Black to suffer a painful defeat while N uses the opportunity to listen to the hearts of Black's Pokémon to see if Pokémon and humans can truly be together.

Later, Black and White travel to [[Striaton City]] so Black can compete in his first Gym battle. There, he encounters Cheren and Bianca who are furious at him for leaving without them and breaking their Pokédexes, leaving his as the only working one. Their fighting causes the Gym leaders to allow Cheren and Bianca to join the Gym battle along with Black. Together, they traverse through the Gym and face off against the Gym leaders and succeed in defeating all three of them. After winning, Black apologizes to Cheren and Bianca by giving them a pair of [[Xtransceiver]]s so they can keep in touch.

Later, while traveling to the next town, Black is attacked by an unseen Pokémon after Musha flies off. He wakes up inside of the laboratory of [[Fennel]], a Professor researching Pokémon Trainers and powers that dreams possess. They decide to go look for the runaway Musha and Fennel decides to join them after learning that Musha is a Pokémon that can help with her research. They go to the [[Dreamyard]] and find Musha being held captive by some {{tc|Team Plasma Grunt}}s. Black faces the Grunts in battle and manages to defeat them and regain Musha. After Fennel obtains some [[Dream Mist]] for her research, Black and White say their goodbyes.

Black and White soon arrive in [[Nacrene City]] to do BW Agency advertising. After dealing with a pair of troublemaking Pokémon, Black goes to the Nacrene Gym to battle its Gym Leader, [[Lenora]]. Despite her powerful Pokémon and smart tactics, Black manages to defeat Lenora, winning the Basic Badge in the process.

== Venn Search Feature ==

Hi, I'm Sasshen, I haven't been a member of the community really at all thusfar but I've been using the Bulbapedia wiki ever since I can remember, and I think that it would be a really cool idea to create a search engine within the wiki that can find Pokémon that match specific criteria; i.e., you could use the feature to find a Pokémon that learns both Fly AND is Fire-type, for example. The hits would all be pages which focus on Pokémon in the video games, and the fields could include Ability, Type, different Moves, etc. Anyways, it's just a suggestion, but this feature would make finding certain Pokémon to fill niches, a process that tends to take me some time... and several tabs XD.

There's a mistake with the main template used on Pokémon pages, for the Pokémon's egg cycle it says "x minimum steps" but it's actually the maximum number of steps. The whole time the game counts your steps up to 255 afterwhich it goes back to zero and an egg will need one less cycle before it hatches. So if you receive an egg when you are 200 steps into the cycle the egg will hatch 200 earlier than its number of egg cycles multiplied by 255. :Actually, it is right to say minimum steps because whenever you receive or hatch an egg, all the other eggs in your party roll back to 0 on their current egg cycle. So I remember that the reason why there was a ban on trivia because many people at one specific time (for whatever reason) kept placing senseless trivia, which somehow affected server load. Nowadays, I occasionally see some nice (I guess) trivia removed because of the rule - an action that may also affect the server. To my point, when will that ban be removed/modified? Trivia is like one of the few things Bulbapedia has over other sites, another being the anime. Many prefer Serebii for games since some data here (like movelists) may be incomplete at times. I couldn't find any info on this so forgive me if I just didn't dig deep enough. Also, I couldn't think of a better place to post this than on the Main Page discussion, since it involves adding another language link to it (and the rest of the site for that matter).

Anyways, what's the Bulbapedia policy of adding links to another Pokémon wiki in another language, particularly a/the Korean Pokémon Wiki? I found one which is fairly extensive; they have 3700-someodd articles and it's fairly well organized and designed.

Plus it seems like they know Bulbapedia exists, seeing as their articles are formatted similarly:

I'm also not sure if there is an even larger Korean Pokémon wiki, or if you already know about these guys and they're Bulbapedia's/Bulbagarden's "enemy" or something (or allied/affiliated with one).

== Pirated Games On eBay ==

Recently I did some eBay searching for [[Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen Versions]] and no surprise here, most listings are pirated versions of the game coming from China or Taiwan. Same goes for other Pokémon games. What's even worse is that people that bought the pirated games are now selling them unaware of the fact. Sure eBay has guides on how to spot pirated from legitimate but either the guides have no images, have very low resolution images, or are from a different region (let's say you live in the USA and you see a legitimate European Pokémon game). I propose we create a special article that archives what each legitimate game cartridge looks like or put what a legitimate game cartridge looks like in each Pokémon game article for each region but in a high resolution image (450px in width should be enough for each Game Boy Advance cartridge for example). I am aware that [[Hack games]] article exists but I don't think that's enough. I noticed... From the start itself, each generation has introduced a feline-like Pokemon, all belonging to a two stage evolutionary line. ( Although when Sneasel was introduced, it didn't have an evolution prior to Generation IV, but it still counts, right?) This is what I've discovered: Meowth and Persian were introduced during Generation I, Sneasel was introduced during Generation II, Skitty and Delcatty were introduced too for Generation III. Glameow and Purugly belong to Generation IV (And this is where Sneasel qualifies, because Weavile is introduced.) and obviously Purrloin and Liepard were introduced during Generation V. Interesting isn't it? Just like the electric rodents ALSO introduced each generation. (Pikachu, Pichu, Plusle and Minun, Pachirisu, and Emolga) This is the same except it they are '''all''' under a 2 stage evolutionary line too. While there are {{numpkmn}} officially recognized [[Pokémon (species)|species of Pokémon]], with most members of an individual species looking relatively similar to one another, several Pokémon species have remarkable '''differences in appearance''' between members. At times, these differences are purely cosmetic, and have no bearing on the difference in the Pokémon's stats from another; however, several Pokémon not only differ in stats, but also type, depending on their form.

Among these are several [[legendary Pokémon]], whose unique forms can be changed between at will, and are spelled officially as "Formes". Many of the forms are known to have special names, while others do not, and are thus only named in [[fanon]]. In Generations II-IV, whichever form is encountered first will be the form displayed in the [[Pokédex]] by default; i.e., a player who encountered a West Sea Shellos would have it appear in the Pokédex by default, while one who encounters an East Sea Shellos first would see that Shellos appear in the Pokédex first. In Generation V, the form displayed in the Pokédex can be changed upon reaching [[Mistralton City]], even to a {{Shiny}} form, if it has been encountered.

Normally, Castform takes on a rather plain appearance, with a gray body. In this form, it is of the {{type2|Normal}}; as could be expected, it is in this form that it is at its least effective.

When Castform is exposed to {{weather|sun|bright rays of sunlight}}, it changes its form to a more sunny appearance, and becomes a {{type2|Fire}} (Sunny Form). In {{weather|rain}}, Castform becomes more like a raindrop, and becomes a {{type2|Water}} (Rainy Form). Finally, in {{weather|hail}}, Castform takes the form of a snowy cloud, and becomes an {{type2|Ice}} (Snowy Form).

===Deoxys===
{{p|Deoxys}}, the final Pokémon in the [[National Pokédex]] as of [[Generation III]], was the first known Pokémon whose [[base stats]] and [[move]] compatibility differed, as well as its appearance, depending on its form. First introduced in ''[[M07|Destiny Deoxys]]'', Deoxys was revealed to have three alternating forms, while a fourth was added later, with the release of {{game|Emerald}}. Like its base stats, its Pokéathlon performance varies depending on its form.

Deoxys's forms are game-specific in [[Generation III]], but can be changed at will in later generations by inspecting the meteorites in [[Veilstone City]] in [[Sinnoh]], {{rt|3|Kanto}} in [[Kanto]], and [[Nacrene Gym]] in [[Unova]].

Deoxys's Normal Forme is the default form it takes, as well as the form it appears in in {{game|Ruby and Sapphire|s}}. In this form, its stats are more balanced, though it is notably far more offensive than it is defensive.

It is in this form that Deoxys will be found in the wild on [[Birth Island]], though it will transform after it has been captured, depending on its [[Generation III]] game version.

The Attack Forme is the appearance that Deoxys takes on in {{game3|FireRed and LeafGreen|Pokémon FireRed|s}}, and it learns noticeably more powerful moves while in this form. Its {{stat|Attack}} and {{stat|Special Attack}} stats have been maxed out, making it the most powerful of all Pokémon in both aspects, while its {{stat|Speed}} remains the same as its default form. Its defensive stats, however, take a harsh blow, lowering so much that it is only more powerful in {{stat|Defense}} than seven Pokémon (tied with three others), and is tied for last place in {{stat|Special Defense}} with five others, including {{p|Magikarp}}.

In {{game3|FireRed and LeafGreen|Pokémon LeafGreen|s}}, the counterpart version to FireRed, Deoxys takes on a counterpart form to the Attack Forme, the Defense Forme. Whereas the Attack Forme had incredible offensive power (and incredibly weak defensive capabilities), Defense Forme inverts this somewhat, having mediocre offensive power (and a lower Speed stat) and heightened {{stat|Defense}} and {{stat|Special Defense}}. This form of Deoxys learns moves more attuned to attrition than to elimination, raising its already high defenses to protect against opponents' moves rather than attack them before they can attack.

By far the quickest of all Pokémon, Deoxys in its Speed Forme learns many moves that can guarantee that it will strike before any other Pokémon can. Though it can still be outsped by a Pokémon with {{a|Speed Boost}}, Speed Forme Deoxys takes the uneven nature of the stats of Deoxys's other forms and balances them out, keeping it from hitting too hard, but at the same time, preventing it from being hit too hard itself.

The {{stat|HP}} stat remains the same with each of the four formes.

Another [[Sinnoh]]-native [[evolution]] family, {{p|Shellos}} and {{p|Gastrodon}} also have a difference, depending on, this time, whether the Pokémon in question was caught east or west of [[Mt. Coronet]]. Like others before, neither form can change to the other, but unlike other multiple-form Pokémon, the appearance of the mother is the determinant to the appearance of the hatched Pokémon.

Both West Sea Shellos and Gastrodon take on a pink appearance, while their East Sea cousins take on a blue hue. There is also a slight difference in bodily appearance depending on the form.

In August of 2008, shortly before the Japanese release of {{game|Platinum}}, five silhouetted Pokémon were shown, with a statement that indicated that these Pokémon would be in the game. Days before the game's release, it was revealed that these Pokémon were alternate forms of {{p|Rotom}}.

In each of these forms, Rotom has possessed a different {{wp|household appliance}}, and each has its own special [[move]]. Heat Rotom, which has possessed a {{wp|microwave oven}}, knows {{m|Overheat}} and is {{2t|Electric|Fire}}; Wash Rotom, which has possessed a {{wp|washing machine}}, knows {{m|Hydro Pump}} and is {{2t|Electric|Water}}; Frost Rotom, which has possessed a {{wp|refrigerator}}, knows {{m|Blizzard}} and is {{2t|Electric|Ice}}; Fan Rotom, which has possessed a {{wp|mechanical fan|rotary fan}}, knows {{m|Air Slash}} and is {{2t|Electric|Flying}}; and Mow Rotom, which has possessed a {{wp|lawn mower}}, knows {{m|Leaf Storm}} and is {{2t|Electric|Grass}}.

Until [[Generation V]], all forms of Rotom were {{2t|Electric|Ghost}}-type. All alternate forms have the same base stat total, which is higher than that of normal Rotom (except normal Rotom has a higher base stat in speed).

{{p|Giratina}}, much like {{p|Deoxys}} had been earlier, was announced to have an alternate form in the then-upcoming ''[[M11|Giratina and the Sky Warrior]]'' in February, 2008. One of the two forms is the familiar form to players of {{game|Diamond and Pearl|s}}, designated as Altered Forme Giratina, while the other is a more serpentine form that was not previously known, the Origin Forme.

The Origin Forme is known as Giratina's natural form, which it appears in in its home of the [[Reverse World]] (in the anime) and [[Distortion World]] (in the games). If it travels to the [[Pokémon world]], it assumes its Altered Forme. Both Formes appear in {{game|Platinum}}, where Giratina is captured in the [[Distortion World]] in its more offense-oriented Origin Forme, and will revert to the defensive Altered Forme outside of this area unless it holds the {{DL|Type-enhancing item|Griseous Orb}}.

As with Giratina, an alternate form of the event Pokémon {{p|Shaymin}} was announced to appear in ''[[M11|Giratina and the Sky Warrior]]'', and is, in fact, the titular sky warrior. This new Sky Forme of Shaymin, with the previously-known form now called the Land Forme, has a completely altered appearance and, rather than being a pure-{{type2|Grass}}, is now {{2t|Grass|Flying}}.

Like Giratina and Deoxys's transformations are activated by an external source, Shaymin's is activated by contact with a {{OBP|Gracidea|flower}}, whose bouquets look almost like a sleeping Shaymin.

A Shaymin in its Sky Forme will revert to its Land Forme if {{status|frozen}} or during {{DL|Time|night}}.

Upon changing forms, Shaymin also changes its [[cry]]. It is the only Pokémon to do so.

===Arceus===
{{p|Arceus}} has eighteen different forms, each with a slightly different coloration, which correspond to the eighteen different [[elemental type]]s.

Arceus's transformation between these forms is brought about by its held item: if it is holding a [[plate]], it draws its type from that plate as stated in [[Sinnoh myths|Sinnoh's mythology]], while remaining {{type2|Normal}} when not holding a plate or holding any non-plate item.

The {{type2|???}} form of Arceus exists only in Generation IV, and is currently unavailable in any legitimate manner, as there is no plate to turn it to this type. Educated speculation attributes this to an attempt made by Game Freak as an error handler. This is supported by the fact that there is no ???-type sprite data for Arceus in the Generation V games, because the ???-type was removed entirely from Generation V.

While its base stats remain constant despite its changing type, its Pokéathlon performance changes slightly. Additionally, it can only learn {{m|Draco Meteor}} while holding the {{DL|Plate|Draco Plate}}.

{{p|Deerling}} changes its appearance depending on the [[Seasons|season]], each of which lasts a month in real time. During spring, its coat will be pink; during summer, green; during autumn, orange; and during winter, brown.

{{p|Sawsbuck}}, Deerling's evolved form, also differs with the season. It has flowers in its antlers during spring; a full set of leaves in its antlers, a lack of fur at its neck and legs, and the addition of a mane and upright tail during summer; brown and wilting leaves during autumn; and white antlers along with sections of thicker, white fur during winter.

In both instances, the Pokémon will change forms when the season changes (when the players exits a cave or building) while it is in the party.

Deerling and Sawsbuck belonging to NPCs will match the season the NPC is battled in, with the exception of the [[Battle Subway]], where they are always in Spring Form.

However, this does not change Genesect's type, but rather the type of the move {{m|Techno Blast}}. If it lacks a Drive, it will be {{type2|Normal}}. The four Drives that can be equipped are the Shock, Burn, Chill, and Douse Drive, which make the move {{t|Electric}}, {{t|Fire}}, {{t|Ice}}, and {{type2|Water}}, respectively. Tep first appeared as one of the Pokémon owned by Professor Juniper along with the other [[Unova]] Starters, {{p|Snivy}} and {{p|Oshawott}}. While he sloppily ate some berries he roasted with his flames, Tep got into a fight with Snivy after getting juice on its tail. The two fought each other until they were broken up by Oshawott who had gotten angry and easily knocked them away. Later, they were delivered to an impatient {{adv|Black}} so they can be the Pokémon of the new upcoming Trainers. After being sent out of his Poké Ball, Tep and Snivy get into a fight once more and is again stopped by an enraged Oshawott. Tep runs off and Black follows him, leaving Snivy to suffer the wrath of Oshawott. Eventually Black finds Tep stuck on a tree and rescues him from a wild {{p|Sewaddle}} and takes him as his own Pokémon. Later, Black goes to a library to look up the evolved form of Tepig so he can decide an appropriate nickname for Tep. Tep assumes that Black meant that he wasn't happy with his present form and runs away. Black follows him and after finding out the reason why Tep ran away, decides to give him the nickname "Tep" instead of a name based on his final form.

After some adventuring, Tep is introduced to the Tepig of {{adv|White}}, [[Gigi]] and becomes friends with her. White, needing a male Tepig to go with her female Tepig in her media shootings, decides to employ Black and Tep after the former runs up a huge bill that he now needs to pay off. Tep and Gigi are then paired up in several shootings, such as movies or commercials.

Tep is later used against [[N]] in [[Accumula Town]] where he is almost defeated by the young man's powerful Pokémon. With words of encouragement from Black, Tep manages to get back up and defeats his {{p|Tympole}}, allowing N to decide that the battle is over and leave.

Tep, alongside {{adv|Cheren}}'s Snivy and {{adv|Bianca}}'s Oshawott, is used in the [[Striaton Gym]] against the Gym Leaders, [[Cilan]], [[Chili]], and [[Cress]]. Eventually, they manage to defeat [[Chili's Pansear]], allowing them to win with three to one after the time limit runs out.

Later, in [[Castelia City]], Tep is seen starting the evolution process into his next stage. This causes White to freak out at the thought of losing her two Tepig duo between Tep and Gigi; she grabs Tep and shakes him violently to get him to stop evolving. In his Gym Battle against [[Burgh]], Black considers using Tep but decides against so when he remembers White's refusal against it.

White is the president and manager of the [[BW Agency]], a company that has a large supply of Pokémon actors that can be used for commercials, plays, movies, and stunts. Whenever her company's reputation is put on the line, she will do anything to prevent its name from being ruined.

White is reluctant to battle, as shown when she started to panic when Black said that she may need to fight in his battle with N and when Gigi was attacked by N's Purrloin, instead of attacking back, she scolded it for attacking an actress. Unlike Black, she does not possess a Pokédex, and until Black showed it to her, she did not know what it was.

When it comes to show business, White is an expert. She is extremely talented in organizing and planning along with recruiting people to join the BW Agency.

It is later revealed that as a child, White viewed a musical—which were human-only at that point—and saw a {{p|Cubchoo}} walk up on the stage. After seeing how the people enjoyed seeing the Cubchoo take part in the musical, she wanted to make something that Pokémon who loved to perform could do.

==History==

White first appears watching the shooting for a [[Xtransceiver]] commercial when she encounters {{adv|Black}} shouting out his ambition to become a Master {{pkmn|Trainer}}. When she discovers he has a male Tepig, she decides to hire him, due to her believing she had needed to bring only a female Tepig, only to learn she really needed both genders. When Black is suspected of sabotaging White's commercial shooting, she tries to prove his innocence (actually just trying to not get him arrested, due to the fact that if he was arrested, so would his Tepig) and watches as he finds the real culprit, a {{p|Galvantula}}, and defeating it at the cost of the shooting equipment. She pays for the destroyed equipment and states that she hired Black for her company, forcing him to call her "Boss."

The night after, White and Black camp outside and are attacked by an unseen Pokémon. Using his abilities, Black finds out that the Pokémon attacking them is a {{p|Timburr}} that is helping a group of people in knight uniforms known as [[Team Plasma]] build a stage. The next day, White and Black witness one of Team Plasma's "sages", [[Ghetsis]], make a speech that causes the people around them to start releasing their Pokémon.

When an enraged Black tries to stop them from making anymore speeches, White stops him because it isn't his business. While they talk about whether or not Team Plasma is correct, White is called away for business reasons. After talking to the director, White returns to back where Black was only to find him in battle with someone else. In the ensuing battle White learns that the person Black is fighting is named [[N]] and he has the ability to hear the voices of Pokémon, allowing him to communicate with them.

After Black is defeated, White becomes convinced that N is a part of Team Plasma and becomes disgusted at their actions. Black denies this and states that even if he is a part of Team Plasma, N is a good person. Afterwards, they travel to [[Striaton City]] so Black can challenge the Gym; while Black challenges the Gym, White goes off somewhere else. After the Gym battle, White meets Black's childhood friends, {{adv|Cheren}} and {{adv|Bianca}} and advertises her BW Agency to them; the two groups then go their separate ways.

After encountering [[Fennel]] and [[Amanita]] at the [[Site of Dreams]], White and Black arrive in [[Nacrene City]]. After advertising her BW Agency and convincing an accordion player to appear in one of the Agency's shows, White and the others find that the accordion had been stolen. As Black uses his abilities to find the thieves, a {{p|Scraggy}} and {{p|Scrafty}}, White explains to everyone else about how Black can use his {{p|Munna}} to increase his senses. After the thieves were defeated and the shooting went off without a hitch, White gives Black his [[Tep]] back and he goes off to his Gym battle. After Black leaves, the director gives White an offer to plan a campaign in [[Nimbasa City]].

Later, while Black is having his Gym battle, White and the director discuss with the mayor of Nimbasa City about what they can come up with to make the city livelier. After hearing some ideas, White nervously comes up with the idea of a [[Pokémon Musical|musical]], an idea that the mayor loved. After White returns to Black who had just defeated the Nacrene Gym, she excitedly exclaims her joy about the mayor using her idea to make Nimbasa a tourist attraction and drags him out of the Gym so they can prepare to leave.

Afterwards, White and Black go through the [[Pinwheel Forest]] where they are attacked by an unseen Pokémon that rips up their clothes. After traveling through the [[Skyarrow Bridge]], White and Black encounter the Battle Company's president disguised as janitor Geoff who tells them that the Pokémon that had attacked them was {{p|Virizion}}. After saying goodbye to Geoff, they arrive in [[Castelia City]].

After arriving in Castelia, White notices that Black's Tep is about to evolve into a {{p|Pignite}} and forcefully prevents this from happening as to prevent the Tep and Gigi duo from being broken.

After leaving Castelia, White and Black arrive in {{rt|4|Unova}} but cannot progress to Nimbasa because of a powerful sandstorm. After getting some supplies to help them get out of the sandstorm, White finds an unconscious Black and an unconscious Plasma Grunt at the gateway and has Black's [[Brav]] carry them to Nimbasa. After explaining the situation to Black after he wakes up, she drags him to the building where the Pokémon Musical will be held. White goes and starts organizing the Musical by having the BW Agency's Pokémon do a rehearsal; her skills in organization shocks Black in the process.

After the Musical goes on, White notices how all of the people and Pokémon have come closer together and it brings a tear to her eyes. Suddenly, White is knocked by a mysterious figure and is pushed into the Nimbasa ferris wheel. As she regains her composure, White notices that the person who pushed her was in fact, N. When N asks her about why she created the Pokémon Musical, White reveals her reasons to him.

N replies that some Pokémon may like to perform but by only focusing on that part of the Pokémon, their other traits will be suppressed. In Gigi's case, N refers to her ability to battle and evolve. N then has his {{p|Servine}} attack Gigi in order to have her fight back and show just how strong she is to White. N comes to the conclusion that by focusing on Gigi's talents in performing, White had been neglecting her true strengths in battle, a fact that Gigi agrees to.

When White decides that it is time to escape, she attempts to jump off the Ferris wheel and asks Gigi to do the same. Surprisingly, Gigi goes to N's side, shocking White who falls out of the car and onto the ground below. Gigi and N watch from the car as White lies on the ground, crying because of Gigi's betrayal.

Later, White is found by [[Marshal]], one the Elite Four, who had found her lying on the ground unconscious next to the Ferris wheel. He hands White over to Black and tells him to take her to a hospital. Before doing so, Black notices that the Servine N gave to her is following them and wonders why.

White later wakes up at the hospital to find Black next to her, having fallen asleep while waiting for her to wake up. Immediately after, White notices Servine watching her from behind a veil and screams in fear. Later, White explains to Black what had happened to her when she met N at the Ferris wheel. This infuriates Black and he attempts to get information on N from Servine, who he believes to be a spy.

After Black fails, they are approached by Baker Chris who takes them to the newly made Battle Subway so they can find Marshal in order to ask for information about when he rescued White. Upon arriving, they find Marshal and the Pokémon League Champion, [[Alder]], about to battle each other. After Alder and Marshal finish their battle, White is introduced to Marshal by Black and she thanks him for helping her at the Ferris wheel.

After meeting up with the Mayor of Nimbasa City again and explaining White's situation to him, Marshal reveals that he only saw White and Servine when he found her. While Black learns about the Battle Subway, White watches Alder play with some wild Pokémon and realizes that he can connect with them, regardless of their beauty or strength. She states that she accepts Gigi's decision to join N but believes that she will return to show business one day. White then decides to take part in the Battle Subway as well.

Before taking part in the Battle Subway, White attempts to capture a wild {{p|Deerling}} but fails in the process. Due to her taking part in the Battle Subway, White has temporarily closed the BW Agency and needs her own Pokémon to use in battling. After angering it enough, the wild Deerling attacks White only to be stopped by the Servine that was following them.

To her surprise, the Servine listens to White when she commands it to attack. With some help from Black, White manages to capture the Deerling while he captures a {{p|Tirtouga}}. As she prepares to go onto the Subway, she has a tearful goodbye with Black as he remembers the journey they had together. As the train leaves, Black gives White Brav due to her needing three Pokémon to use in the Battle Subway.

While on the Battle Subway, White has terrible luck and is unable to win any battles. She soon meets the Elite Four member [[Shauntal]] who had snuck onto the train to find inspiration on writing a story. They are soon caught up in a battle between the Legendary Pokémon {{p|Thundurus}} and {{p|Tornadus}}. Despite Shauntal's attempts at provoking them even more to get the inspiration she wanted, the two Pokémon are calmed down and taken away by {{p|Landorus}}. After all is said and done, they board the train and head off to [[Anville Town]].
