Mollie (Japanese: モリー Mory) is a supporting character in Pokémon Horizons: The Series. She is a healing specialist and a member of the Rising Volt Tacklers. While the group was disbanded during the one year timeskip during Where the Adventure Leads, she started working at her family's Pokémon Center with her mother, but returned a year later when the group reformed.
History
Pre-series
Mollie was born into the Nurse Joy family, and as such came from a long line of doctors. Her family operates the Pokémon Center in Mochew City, with her mother being an experienced Nurse Joy there. At a young age, Mollie didn't really take in hindsight of what she was doing, following instead what she was told to do, pursuing her career to be a doctor. Mollie liked to take care of other Pokémon but gave up that life when she realized that she could do more than assist at her family's Pokémon Center and went on a journey of her own to help any wild Pokémon in need. Eventually, Mollie joined the Rising Volt Tacklers to accomplish her goal where she became friends with Friede, Captain Pikachu, Orla, Ludlow, and Murdock.

During her earlier days as a member of the Rising Volt Tacklers, Mollie met a fellow team member in Wy-Yes, but would quickly fall for his various tall tales, which led to her resenting him. Sometime after Wy-Yes left to become a journalist, Mollie met Murdock's niece, Dot, as she joined the team.

Pokémon Horizons: The Series
Mollie debuted in The Pendant That Starts It All (Part One) alongside the other members of the Rising Volt Tacklers. She and her teammates were searching for Liko at Indigo Academy, but to no avail. In the following episode, she met and introduced herself to Liko aboard the Brave Olivine. While the Explorers attempted to infiltrate the airship via the Wing Deck, she stepped up to try to retract that sector of the ship manually due to a blackout. However, she failed to do so in time, and the group managed to break through the ship's barrier and land on the battlefield.

In For Sure! 'Cause Sprigatito's with Me!, Mollie asked Liko if she could get some deliveries from the Pokémon Center. After Liko got the packages, she quickly left it with Mollie's Chansey before running off as she heard Murdock's Rockruff barking nearby.

In Found You, Fuecoco!, Mollie briefly battled against Zirc after Orla and Murdock returned to the airship to fix up its balloon gasbag, but Roy soon stepped up to confront Zirc after Chansey was hit by a Rock Blast.

In Arboliva's Forest, Mollie accompanied Liko and Roy into Arboliva's Forest alongside her Chansey. After their inspection on the aftermath of the forest fire, Mollie and Liko were left to wait for Roy to return. Mollie asked Liko about how she felt about her parents, complimenting Liko for being able to express her thoughts to her father. After finding an injured Wooper, Mollie was quick to aid the Pokémon and was able to calm down the giant Lucius by empathizing her worry to it.

In Flying Pikachu, Rising Higher and Higher!, Mollie was asked by the younger members as to how Captain Pikachu was able to fly during his battle against Roy in the previous episode, but she couldn't give them an answer because she didn’t know herself. Later, Mollie and the other members of the Rising Volt Tacklers learn how Friede and Captain Pikachu met.

In Song Within the Mist, Mollie joined Murdock in helping Friede in his plan to lure a Lucius, who happened to be one of Lucius's Pokémon, after they got a led through a ship crew that saw the Transport Pokémon, to come to them by bringing out their storage of Pokémon food. When the planed worked, Mollie and Murdock saw two Pokémon on crates that stored their Pokémon food. In the next episode, Mollie attempted to keep the Pokémon from stealing their food until Diana arrived to help.

In Respective Departures, Mollie attended a surprise party for Diana, as she was planning to resume traveling alone. Once they bid farewell to Diana, the Rising Volt Tacklers resumed their search for the remaining Six Heroes. However, Mollie was informed by Friede that they were heading to Paldea first in order to gain information on Liko.

In The SOS is from Tandemaus?, Mollie give the Pokémon living at the Brave Olivine a routine check-up. Later, Mollie and Liko were led by Liko to what they believe to be a Tandemaus. After treating the Tandemaus, Mollie and Liko go looking for the other one, which they were able to find. Mollie then treated the other Tandemaus while Liko went exploring further. However, Mollie and Liko found out that the Tandemaus was a Maushold Maushold, with Hatenna mastering Heal Pulse to help treat them.

In The Plan to Capture Rayquaza, the Brave Olivine was severely damaged during a confrontation between the Explorers and the Black Rayquaza. While the ship underwent repairs, Liko, Roy, and Dot decided to become stronger by learning how to use the Terastal phenomenon.

In Into a New Sky! The Brave Olivine!, Liko, Roy, and Dot reunited with the other Rising Volt Tacklers on the newly-repaired Brave Olivine. While the children went on a tour of the airship, Mollie and the other adults showed off the renovations and improvements made to their respective rooms. Shortly after, the adults watched as Liko, Roy, and Dot had a practice battle with the three Six Hero Pokémon they had befriended.

In Roy is Crocalor, and Crocalor is Roy!, the Rising Volt Tacklers arrived in Mossui Town in order to meet Briar, a Terapagos researcher. During their search, everyone decided to participate in the local Countryside Harvest Festival. Although she intended on having fun, Mollie ended up helping other festival-goers with their various health issues. Later, as thanks for healing his daughter's foot injury, the caretaker gave the Rising Volt Tacklers permission to meet with Briar at the Crystal Pool.

In Wynaut?! Wy-Yes!, Mollie and the team reunited with Wy-Yes, as Friede contacted him for help in finding Six Heroes. After getting annoyed with Wy-Yes, Mollie had Chansey send him blasting off. Later, upon being informed by Noctowl, Mollie saw Wy-Yes, Friede, and the younger members being attacked by a group of Psychic Pokémon, so she went to help them. After parting ways with Wy-Yes, Mollie told Liko a little bit about her past, as she explained that, despite her old friend's tall tales, he did have some truth to what he said, especially if his Wynaut spoke.

Upon losing Friede at Mount Pericarp in Where the Adventure Leads, Mollie and the others eventually returned there to look for him, only to find that Exceed had the area blocked off. With Spinel framing Laqua's destruction on the Rising Volt Tacklers, the group decided to lay low and go their separate ways.

A year later, in The Pokémon Center Lady, it was revealed that Mollie returned to her hometown to work at the Pokémon Center alongside her mother and some Nurse Joys. One night, after a shift and a brief conversation with her mother, Mollie was informed that several Pokémon were being attacked by something in the Forest. Upon arriving there, Mollie met Liko and Roy and after a brief conversation about the current direction of the Rising Volt Tacklers, the group discovered that it was a Vileplume affected by Laquium.

With the help of Liko, Roy, and their Pokémon, Mollie managed to help the Pokémon in Woody Park and upon returning to the Pokémon Center, Mollie told the young Trainers that she would like to one day return to those days in the Brave Olivine but for now she needs to help her family with the Pokémon in any way she can.

In We Are the Rising Volt Tacklers!, Mollie gets a called from Orla that the Brave Olivine is back and she returned the Rising Volt Tacklers with Murdock and Ludlow. Mollie also meets the newest member of the team in Ult, who is a friend of Liko, Roy, and Dot. As they prepared to take off, Dot discovered a message from Friede revealing to everyone that he was alive and well, but was in hiding from the Explorers. Mollie then comforts an overjoyed Orla.

In The Dusk Ball That Wouldn't Open, Mollie saw Ult deciding to leave Brave Olivine. Knowing this feeling, she decided not to get involved. In the following episode, she told Ult a little about how she felt when she decided to leave home and advised him on how it can help a person discover themselves from within.

Character
Mollie is shown to be a fairly stoic individual, rarely displaying overt emotion. However, she is also shown to be caring, looking after and treating Pokémon that are sick or injured. Also, Mollie does treat human injuries as well, as shown in Farewell, Sprigatito?, when she treated Liko's injury after she got hurt from protecting Liko. This was shown again in Roy is Crocalor, and Crocalor is Roy!, when she treated various peoples injuries during the Countryside Harvest Festival.

Mollie is occasionally annoyed with Friede's absent-mindedness and tendency to forget important details, as seen in The Pendant That Starts It All (Part Two), when she was displeased about him bringing Liko to the Brave Olivine without telling her anything. However, despite this, Mollie does get along with Friede and the rest of her teammates, especially Orla and Liko. Although, Mollie had a complicated relationship with Wy-Yes, as he kept giving her false information, but does hold some care for him, as she still rescued him from a group of Psychic-type Pokémon in Wynaut?! Wy-Yes!. Mollie also admits that Wy-Yes can be honest, as seen in HZ131 when she acknowledge that he is still a member of the Rising Volt Tacklers no matter what.

She dislikes staying in one place, as it doesn't suit her, and would rather take action then stay and wait. She seems to not like to be reminded about her past career, as seen in For Sure! 'Cause Sprigatito's with Me!, instead of her, Liko was in charge of getting deliveries, and is reluctant to visit the Pokémon Center.

Pokémon
Mollie's team consists of Normal Pokémon. Both of her Pokémon are strong in battle and can hold their own. She usually uses her Pokémon to help with her medical and care for anyone who is sick or injured.

Mollie officially caught Maushold during that time, as she was seen sending Maushold out of a Poké Ball alongside Chansey in HZ121.

As seen in A Wild Mom Appears!, the Maushold help with all kind of chores aboard the Brave Olivine such as carrying plates of food, as a way of thanks for being saved by the Rising Volt Tacklers.
Plot
With the public release of the Strong Sphere coming soon, Exceed increases its promotion campaign, which includes asking Iono to advertise it on her channel. The Exceed representative tells the popular streamer it would be a win all around, especially with the trouble the Rising Volt Tacklers are causing, unaware said group is right beside Iono. While the Brave Olivine is hiding in Levincia's dockyard with Iono's help, the younger members of the team are having a training battle elsewhere. Dot then arrives with the news that they would be able to meet with Clavell and Geeta at Naranja Academy with Penny's help.

In the director's office, Jacq presents his findings using the data that Dot and Penny obtained from the Exceed Museum. While the information proves useful, Geeta and Clavell explain that it is not something they can act on directly. The main issue is that the data comes from the Rising Volt Tacklers, who currently have a poor public reputation. Additionally, the data was obtained through hacking, which further undermines its credibility, something the Explorers are well aware of. Despite the group’s good intentions, Clavell and Geeta point out that people tend to act on emotion rather than logic. Because of the Rising Volt Tacklers’ reputation, the public would likely distrust their claims, potentially escalating the situation beyond simple skepticism. Even so, the group agrees that it is worth the risk if it can somehow prevent the launch. As a compromise, Clavell proposes banning Strong Spheres at Naranja Academy, and everyone agrees. Meanwhile, Dash leaves her friends feeling dejected after watching them battle, believing she is far behind them in terms of strength. When she returns to her room, she finds a Strong Sphere from Exceed, given as a gift for participating in their demonstration. Excited, Dash heads out to battle using her newly acquired Strong Sphere, only to be devastated when she sees the notice announcing the ban posted in the entrance hall. After overhearing Liko and the others talking about successfully getting Strong Spheres banned, Dash confronts them. They attempt to explain the harmful effects of the Strong Sphere, but Dash refuses to listen to reason and instead challenges Liko to a battle with the ban on the line, which Liko accepts.

At the school battlefield, the battle is spectated by the Rising Volt Tacklers and various students including Nemona, Penny, Niko, and Rob. Dash's Swanna makes the first move with Water Gun, which Liko dodges before sending Magical Leaf at the category. Swanna then dives in with Wing Attack, but gets hit with Acrobatics instead. Dash sees her partner refusing to give up and has it use Feather Dance, which causes feathers to be stuck on Meowscarada. Swanna goes in for another Wing Attack while Meowscarada is distracted, but is forced to stop when she uses Flower Trick, and manages to avoid Quick Attack as well, surprising Niko and Rob with Dash's battle. At Liko's command, Meowscarada avoids all of Swanna's attacks with Quick Attack, removing all the feathers stuck on her in the process, and counters with Flower Trick that manages to deal damage to the White Bird Pokémon.

When she realizes her friends are watching her battle, Dash expresses her desire to win so that things would go back to how it was. As a result, she uses her Strong Sphere on Swanna against Liko's protest, causing a wave of reactions among the students. Dash becomes amazed by Swanna's new capabilities while Niko and Rob support her. Meowscarada continues avoiding Swanna's attacks while Liko tries to make Dash see what the Strong Sphere is doing to her partner, which she does when Swanna keeps hurting itself while using Wing Attack. Dash desperately tries to recall the White Bird Pokémon, but it refuses to listen, so Liko steps in by having her partner use her stem to stop Swanna once it is weakened from Flower Trick. Dash tearfully apologizes to Swanna once the effects wear off. When asked why would she resort to Strong Spheres, Dash says she did not want to be left behind by Niko and Rob. When Niko and Rob approach, Dash tries to leave out of shame, but Liko convinces her to stay before she is filled with regret for not talking sooner. The three friends then sort out their feelings about each other and apologize for their failure to talk about it earlier. Dash promises Liko not to use a Strong Sphere anymore before leaving with her friends, who suggest she try Tera Training again.

In the cafeteria, the Rising Volt Tacklers hold a meeting to discuss their next steps. Although they succeeded in convincing Dash to stop using a Strong Sphere, they realize that other Trainers will continue to use them despite the ban. Because of this, they conclude that the Laquium Core must be eradicated in order to halt production entirely. With the Explorers maintaining control over Mount Pericarp, Ult suggests having the Brave Olivine fly over it. However, Roy points out that it will not be able to handle the altitude. Orla then arrives with news that she has been working on a way to improve the “Brave Olivine: Infinite Rising” ever since what happened at Laqua. In the meantime, the younger members decide to focus their efforts on finding Pokémon with eighteen Tera types. Nemona and Penny arrive after the meeting and volunteer to help oppose the use of Strong Spheres, having witnessed what happened with Swanna earlier. When Nemona mentions battling alongside the four of them, the group becomes confused, prompting Penny to realize that they had never counted themselves among the group. Having saved the Six Heroes and witnessed their growth since they first met, Nemona and Penny are confident that they have grown stronger themselves. This realization leaves them happy as they reflect on how far they have come.

Major events
<!-- This is not for summarizing everything that happens in this episode. Only events pertaining to the series as a whole, such as catching and releasing Pokémon and obtaining Badges, go here. -->
* The Rising Volt Tacklers travel to Paldea again.
:"Sis! Look! There! There's one now!"
:"Whoa... Way cool..."
:"C-c'mon, Sis... You just wanna battle. Makin' this big fuss over nothing..."
:"S-Sis! What're you tellin' him/her that for, dummy!"
:"Aw man..."
:"What?! W-wowzers, really? You don't mind?!"
:"I-I got this!"

* In battle
::After sending out first Pokémon: "Wowzers... I can't believe this... I get to battle you! This is awesome!"
::After the player first lands a super-effective move: "Oof, ehehe... I guess I got a lot of weaknesses..."
::After the player first lands a not very effective move: "H-hey, you’re not holding back, are ya? I… I wouldn’t really like that…"
::After the player first lands a critical hit: "Huh?! How'd that happen?! Aw man, even luck's on your side..."
::Upon first using Yanma's Air Cutter: "You got this, Yanma! C-cut through the wind and show 'em what you've got!"
::Upon being defeated: "Wowzers..."

* After battle
::If the player won: "W-wowzers! You sure are strong, <player>!"
::If the player lost: "That was some kinda battle! I bet you're something else when you're not holdin' back, <player>!"
:"I dunno about that..."
:"What?! No, Sis, don't—!"
:"Well...no, but... Aw man..."
:"U-um... So it looks like...we should probably start with the signboard at...Loyalty Plaza... That's out past the apple orchards on the west side of the village... It's close by. And I figure it might, um, make sense to...y'know...visit them all in order... I'll probably just get in your way if I stick too close, so I'll just...follow you from a safe distance!"

;Loyalty Plaza
:"That's the first signboard..."
:"S-sorry, did I startle ya? I-I did mention that I'd hang back an' follow you here..."
:"We're s'posed to read the signboard, right?"
:"Oh, I already know the whole story, so...g-go ahead. You should check it out."
:"The Loyal Three Monument is right over there... But don't you think the ogre in that folktale sounds kinda...cool?"
::Yeah, it sure does!: "Right?! I knew you'd get it, <player>! It was up against three whole opponents at once, battling it out all by itself—wowzers, that's so cool!"
::You think...?: "C'mon, it was all alone! The battle was three against one, but the ogre still managed to hold its own. That's way cool!"
:"Oh... But I guess most people would just think an ogre like that is scary, huh? I don't think there's any reason to be afraid..."
:"When I was little, I went up into the mountain so many times at night—all on my own—an' I never once met that ogre. Only scary thing that happened was the grown-ups givin' me a real earful about it..."
:"Umm... So yeah, we're s'posed to take a photo in front of the signboard, right? I don't have a smartphone... Could you...?"
:"That turned out great. You're even good at taking photos..."
::Thanks!: "S-sorry... Not trying to butter you up or anythin'..."
::You wanna try?: "Oh! No! I didn't mean— M-maybe...next time..."
:"Y'know...I didn't wanna have to come do this whole school trip thing, but...well...it might actually be kinda fun..."
:"I get to be out in nature around my hometown...and talk to you, <player>..."
:"H-hey, if you want, maybe we could set up a picnic. Would you like a sandwich—?"
:"Gyah! Wh-what is that thing?! Some kinda...kaiju or somethin'?!"
::Regardless of choice: "It's called Koraidon/Miraidon? And you ride on it, huh...? I've never seen another Pokémon like this..."
:"And it seriously comes out whenever it hears the word "sandwich"?"
:"Never thought I'd actually get to meet such an awesome Pokémon."
:"No wonder you're so strong, <player>... You're...you're special."
:"So, the next—! Errr, we should go find the next signboard! It's on the grounds of Kitakami Hall. Um, Kitakami Hall is... Well, first double back to town from here, then there's this bridge you cross, and from there, you'll need to climb up the mountainside. I'll hang back for now an' meet you there later!"

;Kitakami Hall
:"That's the second signboard. Bit tricky to find, huh?"
:"S-sorry... I'm followin' at a distance, so...I...I hope you can get used to me showing up like this."
:"Now then, let's read the sign..."
:"Did you read it...?"
:"The masks the Loyal Three stole are kept over at Kitakami Hall. Everyone in town is scared of the ogre...but me? I really like it."
:"It was strong...and cool...and it didn't even care when everyone shunned it... I've always wanted to be like that, ever since I was a kid."
:"I want to be as cool as the ogre."
:"My sis sorta ends up doin' everything for me...even when we're at school..."
:"I...wanna try to get stronger. So I can do things for myself, you know? I'm gonna become someone people can rely on. Then, just maybe...I could be that ogre's friend."
:"Oh! Um...right. Picture. We're s'posed to take a picture! You can take the next one, too, if you don't mind, <player>..."
:"Phew. I knew it was the right call to let you handle it, <player>. Now, on to the next signboard..."
:"Oh. And you know the mountain the stories say the ogre lives on? It's actually Oni Mountain. You can climb it from the stairs over there."
:"If you wanted, we could...go see the ogre's home? Folks call it the Dreaded Den."
::I wanna see it!: "Y-yes! I really...wanted you to see it for yourself, <player>!"
::Hmm, I dunno...: "You don't have to if you don't wanna...but...I'd really like to show you it. You know?"
:"So...if you keep climbing up, you'll reach the Infernal Pass. There's a sign before that... If you turn at the sign, you can get to the Dreaded Den."
:"S-so I'll just head on up, then. Come along when you're ready. An' be careful!"

;Dreaded Den
:"<player>! Didja have trouble getting across that narrow path?"
:"There it is...the Dreaded Den. This is s'posed to be the ogre's home... At least, that's what everyone says. I come here all the time, but I'VE never seen it..."
:"Maybe a powerful ogre like that would only show up if it heard some kinda battle goin' on..."
:"O-oh yeah... I think I've gotten a bit stronger since the last time we battled, so...y'know...if you wanted to...we could battle?"
::Let's do it!: "All right! Though, uh, we should heal up our teams first."
::I don't know...: "C'mon... I'll even heal up your Pokémon for you first, <player>. So please..."
:"I'll give it all I got. I-I got this!"

* In battle
::After sending out first Pokémon: "Th-this time...I'll put up a good fight!"
::After the player first lands a super-effective move: "But that was just one attack! Aw man, it did so much damage..."
::After the player first lands a critical hit: "Whoa, that attack made my heart skip a beat..."
::Upon first using Poliwhirl's Take Down: "Come on, Poliwhirl! Charge at 'em with everything you got!"
::Upon being defeated: "Aw man... I lost..."

* After being defeated
:"I knew it... You really are strong, <player>. How am I ever gonna be able to beat you? If the ogre saw that battle, I'm sure it'd be thinking "That kid's got real strength...""
:"See, my school...Blueberry Academy... It's a school that specializes in teachin' the art of Pokémon battlin'. If I was as strong as you...maybe I could aim to be the best Trainer there."
:"Let's go have a look at the ogre's den."
:"Watch your head."
:"See how dark it is in here? And cramped... Even the floor's all rough and uneven."
:"Living all alone in a place like this would get pretty miserable, don't you think?"
:"Poor ogre... We have plenty of room at our house. I would've totally let it stay with us..."
::You're a sweet kid, Kieran: "N-no, I'm not! I've just...always liked the stories about the ogre, that's all..."
::When can I move in?: "I don't know if we'd have room for the both of you, <player>..."
:"B-but...if the ogre really did show up to stay at our place, I'm sure the whole town would freak."
:"Whoa, no way... The sun's already gone down?"
:"I guess we'll have to save the last signboard for tomorrow..."
:"Oh! I almost forgot! Today's the first day of the Festival of Masks over at Kitakami Hall."
:"It's this big event where everyone puts on masks and runs around celebratin'... I mean, it's not like you've gotta go or anything, but if you wanted to...y'know...check it out...well, it'd be fun."
::Let's go together!: "Y-yeah! Why not!"
::It does sound fun: "I, um...I can show you to it!"
:"It'd be great to go together..."
:"There's just a few things we'd have to get ready first, so we should swing by my house before heading to the festival. We live in the northwest corner of the village. It's...um...let's see, I could maybe draw a map..."
:"Oh, your Rotom Phone has a map in it, huh? You want me to register it on your map? Yeah, I could give that a try..."
:"Wowzers! It sure is handy having a map that shows you everything right there in your phone... I'm gonna ask if I can get a Rotom Phone someday too!"
:"I'll be right behind you, if you wanna head to my family's place first. See you there!"

;Mossui Town
* At his grandparents' house, on the first night of the Festival of Masks
:"Grandpa! I'm home!"
:"Oh, um... This is <player>... He's/She's part of the same school trip as me and Sis."
:"What?! R-really?! We're friends? F-friends... I feel all tingly and funny hearing that... Ehehe..."
:"Y...yeah! This is <player>."
:"<player>, this is my grandma."
:"Hear that? We get to dress up in jinbei! Yay!"
:"Whoa..."
:"<player> said...he'd/she'd go to the Festival of Masks with me..."
:"What's it matter anyway! What're YOU doin' back here?!"
:"Wait—Sis! You're such a cheater!"
:"Sis, <player>'s here."

* After the player defeats Carmine
:"I-it's OK, <player>... You can just wear my mask."
:"Yeah, but—"
:"Oof... Sorry, <player>... I know my sis seems kinda harsh, b-but she's really not all that bad... Actually, she was tearin' the shed apart, tryin' to find a third mask for you before you got there... O-oh, but, uh, don't tell her I told you that, <player>!"
:"The Festival of Masks is held up at Kitakami Hall. W-we should probably get going..."

;Kitakami Hall
:"This is the Festival of Masks! Today's just the first day. It'll keep going for a while..."
:"It's OK, <player>. Just ignore her..."
:"Ow! You're steppin' on my toe, Sis!"
:"Hehehe..."
:"N-nothin'! I was just thinkin' it was funny that, like...you don't know anything about the ogre..."
:"S-sorry..."
:"Oh, look! They've got candy apples! Let's go check out the stalls!"

* If the player tries to leave the area
:"H-heeey! Over here!"

* When talked to at the candy apple stand
:"E-excuse me... Two candy apples, please..."
:"Uh, here, <player>... You can have one."
::Regardless of choice: "Grandma gave me some pocket money, so it's no big deal."
:"I love candy apples. You don't get to eat 'em every day, y'know? Grandma always just makes us mochi as a snack... There's even a Pokémon in Kitakami that looks like a little ol' candy apple—didja know that?"
:"Hey, let's check that out over there!"

* When talked to at the Ogre Oustin' counter
:"Oh, you're gonna try it, <player>? I'll, uh...I'll cheer you on from...a safe distance..."
:"Go get 'er, <player>!"

* After the player completes Ogre Oustin'
:"N-no..."
:"Ugh... Sorry she's causin' such a scene. Don't worry—I'll deal with her. Why don'tcha go wander around a bit in the meantime?"

* If talked to
:"I'll deal with my sis. You go and explore for a bit, <player>."

* If talked to after finding Ogerpon
:"I don't wanna pop the Ogre Balloons, but my sis keeps insistin' I do it..."

* After the player catches up to Ogerpon
:"<player>! Sis! What're you guys doin' over here?"
:"Wh-what? Why're you yellin' all of a sudden, Sis?"
:"Huh. Oh, I get it. I bet you were makin' fun of me behind my back..."
:"I'm just...gonna head back to the festival..."

* If talked to
:"Had enough of the festival?"
::No: "The festival isn't gonna end anytime soon. Don't overdo it, 'K?"
::Yes: "Well then, guess we should head home. I'll walk you back to the community center."

;Mossui Town
* The next day, at his grandparents' house
:"Hey, <player>! G'mornin'!"
:"Wanna go see the last signboard?"
:"Seriously? He's/She's spending all his/her time with you... That's so unfair! You can be such a jerk..."
:"Hmph!"

* Outside of Peachy's
:"Oh, uh... H-hey, <player>. So, I...I was gonna ask. What were you and my sis just, uh...talkin' about?"
::Regardless of choice: "Oh, I-I see..."
:"S-so! About those signs! The last one's a bit of a hike away. It's in the Paradise Barrens on the other side of Oni Mountain. We'll need to head over the mountain and down toward the northwest... You go on ahead. I'll catch up."
:"Why...why'd you lie to me...?"

;Paradise Barrens
:"These are the Paradise Barrens. Pretty lonely place, huh?"
:"According to the old legends, the ogre used to be seen around here lots."
:"Hey, before we check out the sign...could you...battle me...?"
::Let's do it!: "'K, let me heal up our Pokémon"
::I dunno...: "I promise I'll heal up your Pokémon and all, so please, <player>?"
:"This time...I'll win!"

* In battle
::After sending out first Pokémon: "I...I wanna win! I wanna win, so...I got this!"
::After the player first lands a super-effective move: "Ack, I shoulda thought things through! It...it wasn't supposed to go like this..."
::After the player first lands a critical hit: "No! Oh no, I can't keep up..."
::Upon sending out last Pokémon: "Why...why does it have to be like this? Why?"
::Upon first using Dipplin's Syrup Bomb: "You got this, Dipplin! Get 'em all covered in syrup!"
::Upon being defeated: "I-it's all...'cause I'm too weak..."

* After being defeated
:"I lost..."
:"It's because I'm weak... That's why I..."
:"We should go check out the sign... Come on, let's get this over with."
:"In the old days, everyone carried masks wherever they went. And...the one who made those masks was actually my great-great-great-grandpa's great-great-great-grandpa...or something."
::Regardless of choice: "I mean, I don't think any of that stuff about the ogre stealing souls is true or anything, but... it is true that our family used to make masks"
:"Our family... has a long line of mask makers. Even my gramps can make 'em."
:"I even heard that the reason we hold the Festival of Masks is 'cause our ancestors came up with the idea."
:"But I don't really like what they wrote on this sign here..."
:"Just because the ogre seemed sorta scary, everyone got all afraid of it and drove it away from the village"
:"But I'm pretty sure the ogre must've been lonely on its own."
:"Left all alone like that... Treated like some kind of outcast..."
::You're right: "You think so too...huh, <player>?"
::Sorry...: "...For what?"
:"Wanna take that last photo?"
:"Well, we're all done with our assignment now."
:"But I've gotta get stronger with my Pokémon..."
:"...I'm gonna head home."

;Mossui Town
* The next day, at his grandparents' house
:"Mornin', Grandpa."
:"Yeah, yeah. Do whatever you want, Sis."
:"I got stuff to do, OK?"

;Loyalty Plaza
:"<player>..."
:"You two knew, didn't you? You knew that the ogre wasn't the real bad guy in the stories..."
:"The Loyal Three were the real bad guys, but the ogre's the one that gets treated like an outcast!"
:"And you two did the same thing to me!"
:"You treated ME like an outcast when you went an' met with the ogre!"
:"... ... ..."
