Time and edits that could be spent writing summaries in the correct format the first time around.
:::::::I'm not asking you to memorize much, or completely re-learn coding. It's as simple as using <code><nowiki>{{p|Pikachu}} instead of [[Pikachu (Pokémon)|Pikachu]]</nowiki></code>, and so on. The link templates aren't hard to remember at all; if you can't remember one, it's not a huge deal, if you mess one up, not a big issue. But if you're going to completely ignore them because you prefer to do it Wikipedia style, then perhaps you'd be better off spending your time editing Wikipedia, rather then coming here and attempting to apply Wikipedia's style to Bulbapedia.

Hi Maverick, i need your help.
Actually i used to upload new pictures (with high/better quality) for old articles of bulbapedia such as EP099.
Yesterday, i uploaded a new image for EP099 article. That image was the screenshot from the deleted scene of EP099. I uploaded it because the previous image on the deleted scene section of the article was in low and poor quality. My new image was totally fine with nice quality and was 100% suitable for that section of the article. A user named J-J-M deleted my pic and said that it is not the part of deleted scene. I don't no what's wrong with him, i saw that episode again and it was the part of it (deleted scene) along with that he also deleted that pic and i can't undo now.
Please help me and suggest whether i re-upload the image or anything else.
I am really working hard in finding new images and he don't have any right to spoil my hard work.
I am sorry if i bothered you but please tell me what should i do now.

I once said at my website [http://light.cvgrenier.com] that due to my parents, I wasn't allowed on communities. But when they meant 'communities' they actually meant 'FORUMS' or 'CHATROOMS'. When they saw that BulbaPedia was a Wikia, they said I can register, since it is not a forum or chatroom. Something VERY NASTY happened on a forum years ago as somebody asked for personal information... I alerted an Admin(who banned the guy) and my parents, who told me to immediatly leave the forum and never coming back. The forum was deleted but re-uploaded. ALL messages and users have been deleted, so I was happy with that.

I love your card scans. They are extremely fantastic. But, instead of uploading a new file, it is a lot easier to go to the archives page of the image that's already on the card page, and click the "Upload a new version of this file" link. Since all of the images we already have are set up to our standard, it is much easier for everyone if you upload a new version of the file. That way, you don't have to edit the page--it already is linked to from the card page, and all the images are categorized to our liking. If you do do this, however, the Archives might not refresh with your image right when you upload it. Don't fret if it doesn't, and also do not try to upload it again. I wanted to tell you that I was told my scans were too dark/eye hurting and I could not upload scans unless I get a new scanner. Well, I will have a new scanner to scan my cards. I will receive it at December 10, but might not get installed until December 12. I used the 'Try before Buy' option so I could see what resolution my cards would appear in the scanner. You can compare my Altomare's Latias and Altomare's Latios on my current scanner(scans on the left) and the one I tried and will receive(scans on the right)

I come straight from Wikipedia, and my goal here was to fill in all the incomplete summaries for the anime series. Since I came from Wikipedia, I have a large understanding of WikiTemplates, and I was used to the <nowiki>[[LINK|TEXT]]</nowiki> format of linking, which you have here, but after about five summaries, I was contacted by a patroller who told me I was doing my links wrong and I had to put them in <nowiki>{{p|pikachu}}</nowiki> format or something like that. He said it was easier to do, but since I was used to the LINK/TEXT format, I assumed his comment was optional suggestion. I wrote another summary and continued LINK/TEXT format, and once again, he commented me, but this time he told me that is was policy to put links in this special template, even though it redirects to the same page.

Naturally, I was a little annoyed. I shouldn't have to learn a new template even though my habits create the same outcome. I would like to know if it is actually ''policy'' to put it in this template even though it does the same thing as my habits. If so, is it against any rules to just ''not'' web my pages together?

If we assume the most recent Grand Festival in the anime was the one in Kanto during Battle Frontier, that means that at the end of Battle Frontier, Ash would be at least twelve, and May at least eleven. If we assume that Dawn was ten at the beginning of Diamond & Pearl, then at the beginning of Diamond & Pearl, Ash would be at least twelve, May at least eleven, and Dawn ten. This shows at least a TWO-YEAR SPREAD of birth years, even though the article says that they were all born in the span of less than ONE year. Could this be resolved please? Thank you. I also thought Misty was a year older than Ash, but maybe someone just started this and it spread into every site and fanfic, so that we all might have been wrong about it.
Anyway, it must definitely be true that Ash is around a year older than May who should be around a year older than Dawn. Just add the time they need to travel. It's always like "several days have passed, and now our heros have arrived in..."

== Synopsis ==
[[Ash]], [[Misty]], and [[Brock]] are on the trail again, headed for [[Azalea Town]] so Ash can challenge the [[Azalea Gym|local gym]] and earn his second [[Johto League]] [[badge]]. Thirsty, Ash and Misty eye a pipe to drink from, but a woman appears and begins to fix the dripping pipe. Before she fixes it, she fills their canteens by request. She introduces herself as [[Sonrisa]], and escorts them to [[Bloomingvale]], the nearest town.

At her home, she shows the trio her system of pipes that brings fresh water down from the mountains so she can raise her favorite [[Pokémon (species)|Pokémon]]. She calls her Pokémon out from the greenhouse, and they happen to be [[Sunflora (Pokémon)|Sunflora]], a sunflower Pokémon. She explains that she waters them so they're happy when the [[Sunflora Festival]] occurs, and many Sunflora trainers do different types of training to make their Sunflora the best, but all she does is water them and keep them happy. Two of her Sunflora seem exuberant, but one seems rather gloomy.

Brock tries to cheer the depressed Sunflora up, but it's just no use. Sonrisa says that that was the Sunflora she was planning on entering in the contest, but lately, it had been really depressed. Ash promises to help cheer the Sunflora up, but the sun was about to set, so the Sunflora went to sleep. Ash and his friends found a [[Pokémon Center]] to rest at for the night.

Back at Sonrisa's neighbor's greenhouse, [[Team Rocket]] pick the lock and take a look at all of the Sunflora. [[Meowth (Team Rocket)|Meowth]] suggest that they take one Sunflora and enter it in the Sunflora Festival so they can win a years supply of instant noodles. As [[James]] examines each of the Sunflora, Meowth accidentally runs into an alarm button, which traps him in a net. [[Jessie]] and James able to escape, but Meowth is left trapped in the net.

Ash and his friends hear the sound of the alarm and run to investigate. Once they are there, Misty suggests to the Sunflora breeder that he let Meowth go since he didn't steal anything, which he agrees to. Back at the Pokémon Center, Misty says that in exchange for getting set free, he has to translate for the depressed Sunflora to find out what's wrong. Meowth says that he's depressed because a Sunflora belonging to [[Cyrus (Johto)|Cyrus]] that he used to play with wasn't around anymore. Then, Meowth is lassoed by Jessie and James and 'saved'.

Sonrisa then goes looking for her Sunflora's old friend, and Cyrus said he traded it to [[Nurse Joy]]. The two Sunflora are then reunited together and Sonrisa's Sunflora becomes happy again.

The same day, the Sunflora Festival occurs, and Team Rocket, stripped of a Sunflora, have to dress up Meowth as one. As the judging commences, one judge likes Cyrus's Sunflora, one likes Sonrisa's, and the last one is on the fence. As Meowth is being examined, [[Madame Muchmoney's Granbull|Snubbull]] appears and catches a glimpse at Meowth in the costume, but she suspects his real identity, and sniffs him, and then bites down on his tail. Meowth comes out of his costume and then Team Rocket reveal themselves.

They activate mirrors that raise up all around the stadium and shine light in on everyone, blinding them, but the Sunflora grow with the bright light, but eventually, they collapse and are immobilized, but Team Rocket isn't interested in the Sunflora, they just want to steal the instant noodles. Jessie sends out [[Jessie's Arbok|Arbok]], Ash sends out [[Ash's Chikorita|Chikorita]], and Misty sends out [[Misty's Poliwag|Poliwag]]. As their Pokémon battle, James controls the [[Meowth Balloon]] to pick up the instant noodles. Chikorita uses [[Razor Leaf (move)|Razor Leaf]] to cut the net of noodles down. James sends out his [[James's Weezing|Weezing]] to battle, but Ash commands [[Ash's Pikachu|Pikachu]] to use [[Thundershock (move)|Thundershock]] on it. Out of jealously, Chikorita shoves Pikachu while he is getting ready to attack, and his shock ricochets off of Team Rocket's mirrors, breaking them, and in the process, mobilizes the Sunflora.

Sonrisa orders her Sunflora to use [[Solar Beam (move)|Solar Beam]] on Team Rocket, sending them blasting off again. The judges, amazed by this display, crown Sonrisa's Sunflora as the winner of the festival.

The episode ends with Sonrisa thanking Ash and his friends for helping her, and the trio hitting the road again for Azalea Town.

== Synopsis ==
[[Ash]], [[Misty]], and [[Brock]] are taking a rest in a valley before Ash goes up against his next [[Johto League]] [[Gym]]. While the three rest, a [[wild]] [[Sentret (Pokémon)|Sentret]] stumbles upon them and reports what he saw back to the other Sentret. On a more restless note, [[Team Rocket]] is planning on testing out their new [[Arbok (Pokémon)|Arbok]]]-Tank by stealing [[Ash's Pikachu|Pikachu]] as the [[twerps]] sleep, but as [[Meowth (Team Rocket)|Meowth]] points out, if they were to roll up to the twerps in the Arbok-tank, it would wake them up, so the three have to get out and walk.

While Ash, Misty, Brock, [[Ash's Pikachu|Pikachu]], and [[Misty's Togepi|Togepi]] sleep, the Sentret comes back and tries to figure out what Togepi is, but in the process, the fast-asleep Togepi rolls down a hill, and the wild Sentret chases him. At the bottom of the hill, Togepi wakes up and meets the Sentret. The two play together and end up rolling off of a cliff, but they fall into the Arbok-Tank's opening. The two play with the control panel and figure out how to drive it, and when Team Rocket sees this, they chase after them.

Misty is the first to wake from the nap and notices that Togepi is gone; but before she can wake up Ash, a Sentret comes along and wakes him. The Sentret tries to desperately tell him something, and Brock suggests that it's trying to find something it has lost. Then, the trio hear a crash coming from the distance. The crash came from Togepi and the Sentret trying to navigate around a rock, but once they do, they crash right into the side of a cliff.

Both Ash, his friends, and Team Rocket chase after the tank, and soon, the two groups meet up. Team Rocket tells Misty that Togepi is inside controlling the tank, and this sends Misty running for the tank again. Meowth then tells the Sentret that is with Ash's group that there's also another Sentret in the tank, which sends the Sentret right after Misty. Brock sends out [[Brock's Onix|Onix]] so they can get to the tank faster. They get to a clearing that the Arbok-Tank should be passing by soon, and devise a plan:

Onix will dig a hole in the clearing, they'll fill it with rocks and crush those rocks to dirt. They will then use water Pokemon to turn it to mud, and the Arbok-Tank will fall into it and get stuck. Then, Ash, Pikachu, and their Sentret will enter the tank and rescue Togepi and the other Sentret.

The Arbok-Tank gets there before they can completely turn it to mud, but it falls into the half-filled hole. Pikachu, Ash, Misty, and the Sentret rush to help rescue the two, but as the begin to climb inside, the Arbok-Tank is able to return to a standing position, and only Pikachu is able to get inside. With a rocket, Togepi blasts the tank out of the hole and continues on the accidental rampage.

Dressed as magicians, Team Rocket appears and says they have a trick to show, and suddenly, the Arbok-Tank disappears. Ash and his friends rush to see what happened to it, but when they get there, they see that the tank has fallen into another hole, this one which Team Rocket dug. Meowth jumps into the tank, only to be greeted with Pikachu's [[Thunder shock (move|Thunder shock]]. The shock causes a technical failure with activates a spring on the bottom of the tank, bouncing it out of the hole and away from Ash.

Smashing it's way through the cliffs, Sentret calls to signal for danger so other Pokemon will know to hide. The tank starts going faster and is about to crash into the side of a cliff, but Togepi uses [[Metronome (move)|Metronome]] to drill a hole through the mountain. Brock concludes that if it drills straight through the mountain, it will destroy a town on the other side, and no natural obstacle with overcome it, so they need to use [[Ash's Charizard|Charizard]] to defeat it.

Charizard is able to bring the tank to almost a halt, but needs help to completely stop it, so the Sentret with Ash. Pikachu uses a Thundershock on the inside to cause a complete mechanical failure, and Onix grabs onto the Arbok-tank's tail. Charizard uses [[flamethrower (move)|Flamethrower]] to melt the window and free Pikachu, Togepi, Sentret, and Meowth, but Meowth doesn't get out, so [[Jessie]] and [[James]] try and rescue him, but the Arbok-tank explodes, sending them blasting off again.

The episode ends with the two Sentret being reunited and [[Officer Jenny]] telling them that the tunnel that they thought the Arbok-Tank made would cut driving time from the local town to Violet City in half.

== Synopsis ==
After traveling all the way from [[New Bark Town]], [[Ash]], [[Misty]], and [[Brock]] finally set their eyes on [[Violet City]], where Ash hopes to earn his first [[Johto League]] [[Badge]] at the [[Violet City Gym|local gym]]. While wandering through the city, [[Ash's Pikachu|Pikachu]] stops to smell some flowers, only to be attacked by two [[School Kid|school kids]] wanting to play with him. Threatening to shock them, Ash snatches Pikachu from the kids only to be zapped by Pikachu's [[Thunderbolt (move)|Thunderbolt]]. The two kids explain that they thought it was a [[Wild Pokémon|wild]] Pikachu, but their explanation was cut short when a woman runs outside telling the kids they should be in class.

The woman, Miss Priscilla, explains that the two kids are her students at the [[Pokémon Academy]], and she teaches them all about [[Pokémon training]] while they're young so they grow up and become great [[Pokémon trainer|trainers]]. Brock volunteers the group to put off looking for the [[gym]] and show the school kids some of their [[Pokémon (species)|Pokémon]], which the students are exuberant about. Ash tells them how he made the top sixteen in the [[Indigo League]] but one boy asks why they should listen to him if he wasn't the [[Champion|winner]]. Ash dismisses the blow, and Misty suggests that they go outside so they can show the kids their Pokémon.

While the kids are playing with the Pokémon, Miss Priscilla tells Ash, Misty, and Brock about the [[Sprout Tower]] and how its main support beam sways back and forth like a [[Bellsprout]]. She then invites them on a field trip her and the class are going on to visit the tower. Brock agrees for Ash and Misty.

While Miss Priscilla is talking to Ash, the little boy who made the comment to Ash earlier asks Pikachu to be his Pokémon and to forget Ash. Pikachu declines, but the boy says if he doesn't want to be his Pokémon, then he'll just take Pikachu, and pounces on him, but Pikachu gives him a little shock and he backs off. Ash runs over and asks the boy what he can do and the boy screams at him to give him the Pikachu. After Ash refuses, the boy, named Zachary, steals one of Ash's [[Pokéballs]] and tries to catch Pikachu with it. Since Pikachu is scared of Pokéballs, he runs away, and Zachary runs after him. Ash tells Miss Priscilla that once she finds Zachary he'll take him to the Sprout Tower to meet up with everyone else. Ash recalls his Pokémon and runs after Zachary.

Zachary spots Pikachu's ears sticking out of a bush and throws the Pokéball behind the bush. He successfully captures Pikachu, and then Ash tackles him, but they fall down one of [[Team Rocket|Team Rocket's]] traps. Team Rocket thanks Zachary for catching Pikachu, and says if he hands them Pikachu, they'll get him out, but Zachary says he won't give them Pikachu. Ash suggests he take Pikachu back to handle Team Rocket, but Zachary says he wants to do it, and sends out Pikachu to use [[Thunderbolt (move)|Thunderbolt]], but instead of Pikachu, a [[Bellsprout (Pokémon)|Bellsprout]] comes out.

So Team Rocket uses an amplifier to alter their voice to sound like Ash's, and they call out for Pikachu's help, which Pikachu responds to by coming out of hiding, but Team Rocket tries to net Pikachu, but the real Ash calls out to Pikachu and tells him to move. Pikachu evades the attack, and Ash uses the net to climb out of the hole. Ash tells Pikachu to use Thunderbolt on Team Rocket, which sends them blasting off again.

Back at the Sprout Tower, Brock is looking at the support beam that sways back and forth, but outside, Team Rocket fall from the sky into the tower. They devise a plan to get Pikachu and it involves getting Miss Priscilla's class out of the main room, so [[James]] uses his [[James's Weezing|Weezing's]] [[Smokescreen (move)|Smokescreen]] to replicate a fire. Falling for it, Miss Priscilla orders her class to evacuate the building immediately.

Once Ash is at the Sprout Tower, he sees the 'fire' and sends out [[Ash's Squirtle|Squirtle]] to use [[Water Gun (move)|Water Gun]]; Misty sends out [[Misty's Poliwag|Poliwag]] to do the same. Brock notes that the water isn't helping, so Misty recalls Poliwag. Team Rocket then appears on the balcony and tell Ash to come inside and see what is being done.

Inside, [[Jessie's Lickitung|Lickitung]], Weezing, and [[Jessie's Arbok|Arbok]] are sawing away at the support beam and have strapped a rocket to it. Jessie says that unless Ash hands over Pikachu, they'll send the tower into orbit as soon as the support beam is cut. Ash refuses, but Pikachu goes forth. They tie up Pikachu, and Ash tries to send out another Pokémon, but [[Meowth (Team Rocket)|Meowth]] says he shouldn't try anything or else he'll blow the place up.

Zacahry orders Bellsprout to use [[Razor Leaf (move)|Razor Leaf]], which flings the rocket remote out of Meowth's paws. Bellsprout uses Razor Leaf against Lickitung so it stops sawing at the support beam. Jessie and James recall their Pokémon, and grab onto the rocket as part of an escape. [[Ash's Bulbasaur]] and Zachary's Bellsprout use Razor Leaf to free Pikachu from the rope before Team Rocket gets away with him; the leaves eventually cut the ropes that tether the rocket to the support beam. The rocket, with no mechanics to control it, blasts off Team Rocket once again.

The episode ends with Ash bidding farewell to the Pokémon Academy, and Zachary wishing Ash luck in the [[Johto League]]. Zachary says that he'll battle with Ash when his Bellsprout evolves into a [[Victreebel (Pokémon)|Victreebel]].

== Synopsis ==
While [[Ash]] and [[Ash's friends|his friends]] continue to make their way for the [[Violet City Gym]], they find themselves looking for a place to spend the night in a quiet area called [[Happy Town]]. Tired, hungry, and dirty, Ash knocks on the door of a locked Pokémon center, and to his surprise, is greeted by a [[Blissey (Pokémon)|Blissey]]. After noticing Ash's hunger, Blissey tries to give Ash some sweets, but ends up spilling it on Ash, and while washing off, Blissey suggests that she wash his back, but ends up scratching him, and while she tries to attend to the scratch, she puts too much alcohol on him, and at the end of the sequence of events, he is in a full-body cast for one scene. [[Nurse Joy]] wakes up eventually and apologizes for her Blissey's trouble.

Outside, [[Team Rocket]] is just as hungry as Ash's party. [[James]] devises a plan to sneak into the [[Pokémon Center]] and steal some Pokémon ''and'' some food, but once they get inside, they find themselves in an empty kitchen with nothing to eat. [[Meowth (Team Rocket)|Meowth]] finds some parsnip in the fridge, but refuses to share it and runs off. [[Jessie]] goes looking for him, but finds Blissey in the hallway. Blissey [[Tackle (move)|tackles]] Jessie in joy, but Jessie notices the Blissey's necklace; it's in the shape of the top of a broken egg, which Jessie pulls out the bottom half to it and connects the pieces:

Jessie went to a [[Chansey (Pokémon)|Chansey]] Pokémon Medical School, and Jessie was the only human in the class, the rest were Chansey. She failed the class due to her inability to soothe Pokémon like the Chansey could, and so when her roommate and her best friend, another Chansey, graduated from medical school, she gave Jessie half of her egg necklace so they would always remember eachother.

Overjoyed, the Blissey satisfies Team Rocket's hunger by giving them boxes of food from the Pokémon Center stockpile. But because of her given bounty, Ash and his friends are only given a meager breakfast the next morning. Ash complains to Nurse Joy who reviews the security cameras to see who took the food, and she catches Blissey on tape. Nurse Joy wants Blissey to confess what she did with the food and if she doesn't, it could end her career as a nurse.

Overlooking the scene, Team Rocket devise a plan to get Blissey out of trouble, and they decide to go back and tell them they tricked Blissey into giving them food. Once they've gotten everyone's attention, they demand that all of the Pokémon in the Pokémon Center be handed over to them. While Ash and Nurse Joy argue with them, Blissey comes outside and runs to greet Jessie. Jessie pleads that Blissey not reveal their friendship, and in an attempt to save Blissey's job, she sends out [[Jessie's Arbok|Arbok]] and [[Jessie's Lickitung|Lickitung]] to keep Blissey at a distance, but even after this, Blissey still wants to be with Jessie, so Jessie forces herself to order Arbok and Lickitung to attack Blissey.

But immediately, Blissey is on her feet and walks toward Jessie again, still unaware of why Jessie wants to keep their distance. Jessie then orders her Pokémon to attack Blissey again, but lightly. But even after that, Blissey limps toward Jessie, refusing to turn away. Then, Jessie shoots the ground with some sort of gun, and threatens to hit her if she comes any closer. James begins to insult Ash because he's letting a Blissey do all the fighting, and then Meowth uses a pair of grabbers to steal [[Ash's Pikachu|Pikachu]], but Pikachu immediately uses [[Thundershock (move)|thundershock]] to release himself.

Nurse Joy then runs to Blissey and apologizes for doubting her, even for a minute. Blissey then looks to Jessie, who puts her finger over her mouth to symbolize that it's a secret. Still hungry, Ash sends out [[Ash's Squirtle|Squirtle]] and [[Ash's Chikorita|Chikorita]] to retrieve the food. Pikachu uses a [[Thunderbolt (move)|Thunderbolt]] on Arbok, Chikorita uses a [[Vine Whip (move)|Vine Whip]] on Lickitung, and Squirtle blasts a [[Water Gun (move)|Water Gun]] at Jessie, James, and Meowth, who run to the [[Meowth Balloon|balloon]] right after the attack, but Chikorita uses a [[Razor leaf (move)|Razor Leaf]] to cut the food from the balloon and to put a hole in it, sending the food to the ground and sending Team Rocket blasting off again.

The episode ends with Blissey finally serving a whole meal to Ash and his friends.

== Synopsis ==
[[Ash]], [[Misty]], and [[Brock]] continue make their way to [[Violet City]] so Ash can earn his first [[Johto League]] [[Badge]], but along the way the trio take a rest in a town called [[Cherrygrove City]]. After polishing the his [[Pokéball|Pokéballs]] and the mysterious [[GS Ball]], Ash leaves them by the river as he runs to eat, but then, a [[Quagsire (Pokémon)|Quagsire]] appears from the water. Misty attempts to catch it, but [[Misty's Psyduck|Psyduck]] comes out instead and appears to have a mental connection with the Quagsire, much like in [[EP066|another episode]] but with a [[Slowpoke (Pokémon)|Slowpoke]] instead.

As Misty tries to get Psyduck's attention, Quagsire steals the GS Ball and swims away. Ash tries to run after it, but ends up sending out [[Ash's Squirtle|Squirtle]] to chase it down. After failing to wrestle it out of the Quagsire's mouth, Squirtle uses [[Water Gun (move)|Water Gun]], it slips out of Quagsire's mouth, and [[Ash's Pikachu|Pikachu]] is able to catch it on the shore. While both Quagsire and Squirtle are using Water Gun against each other, Misty tries once again to catch it, but before throwing the Pokéball, [[Officer Jenny]] stops them and arrests them for violating the Quagsire Preservation Restrictions.

Back at the station, Officer Jenny calls [[Professor Oak]], who explains that he forgot to mention the restrictions to the [[Ash's friends|group]]. Officer Jenny drops the charges and explains that the Quagsire are very special to the people of Cherrygrove city because they help identify the cleanest water in the area, and the reason that the Quagsire took Ash's GS Ball was because it was round, and during this time of year, the Quagsire take round objects, swim upstream with them, and then send the round things down the river again; these objects are said to be good luck, especially the last thing to float down the river.

Ash then sees another Quagsire outside of the station, staring at his GS Ball. After being rejected the opportunity to take the ball up the river, the Quagsire follows Ash to a bridge, where it [[Tackle (move)|tackles]] Ash. In an attempt to get the Quagsire off of him, Ash sends out [[Ash's Chikorita|Chikorita]], who successfully blows away the Quagsire with [[Whirlwind (move)|whirlwind]]. It is then discovered that Chikorita has a crush on Ash. Quagsire comes up from behind Ash, and Chikorita uses whirlwind again, but in the process, the GS Ball falls out of Ash's backpack. Quagsire catches it and begins to swim upstream with the ball.

In another area, [[Team Rocket]] has lost track of Ash and his friends, so [[James]] is trying to map out where they might be. [[Jessie]] notices that [[Meowth (Team Rocket)|Meowth]] is playing with a lawn ornament, and Meowth tells her that there's a whole bunch of stuff in a field nearby. The three are startled by a Quagsire who comes and takes the lawn ornament from Meowth. Jessie, annoyed that they would take away Meowth's toy, tries to send out [[Jessie's Arbok|Arbok]] and [[Jessie's Lickitung|Lickitung]], but two more Quagsire take her Pokéballs before she can send them out. The same happens with James's [[James's Weezing|Weezing]] and [[James's Victreebel|Victreebel]].

While both Ash's party and Team Rocket chase after their stolen Pokéballs, Ash's Party notices the group of Quagsire with Team Rocket's Pokéballs and follows them in hopes of finding the GS Ball. Unaware they they are following Ash's party, Team Rocket chase the same group of Quagsire from a longer distance away.

The Quagsire stop migrating at a place called Blue Moon Falls, but there are no waterfalls here. Ash spots the Quagsire with the GS Ball and decides to keep an eye on it so it doesn't lose the ball. On the other side of the pond, Team Rocket spy on them and devise a plan to catch Pikachu and the Quagsire, but Ash's party is noticing something else:

The Quagsire are all staring into the sky, as if they're waiting for something to happen, but just as they begin to wonder what they might be doing, Team Rocket snatches up a Quagsire with a claw installed on their [[Meowth Balloon|hot air balloon]], but the Quagsire easily slip from the metal claws, so they cast a net over the school of Quagsire, but just as they begin to fly away, Jessie remembers that they still don't have their Pokémon. Before they get their Pokéballs, Team Rocket catches Pikachu with the claw, but before they can get away, some of the uncaptured Quagsire begin to hurl rocks at Team Rocket's balloon, which causes the claw to drop Pikachu.

With Pikachu back, Ash sends out [[Ash's Bulbasaur|Bulbasaur]] to use [[Razor Leaf (move)|Razor Leaf]] on the net. After the Quagsire are released, a large rock is thrown at the balloon, sending Team Rocket blasting off again. After Team Rocket left, the Quagsire continue staring at the sky like before, and something triggers them to start swimming upstream again, and naturally, Ash and his friends follow. They find the Quagsire at ''the'' Blue Moon Falls, where they see that tonight, the moon is actually blue. Then, the Quagsire throw their round things into the air and use water gun on them to send them flying over the waterfall, and then flow back down. Brock suggest that they do this as a competition to see who can get it closest to the moon, and Ash's Quagsire shoots the GS Ball higher than all of the rest of them, then comes down and begins to flow downstream, and Ash instinctively rushes after it.

Back in town, the rest of the townsfolk gather their belongings as they float down the river, and the luckiest of all, the final one, floats down the river, and it's Ash's GS Ball, which Officer Jenny scoops up and hands to Ash as he catches his breath. This renews Ash's belief that he can come out on top in the Johto League.

== Synopsis ==

[[Ash]] and his [[Ash's friends|friends]] continue to travel to [[Violet City]], so he can earn his first Johto League badge at the [[Violet City Gym|gym]], but on their way, they find themselves wandering through a majestic town called [[Palm Hills]], a rich neighborhood famous for its sprawling estates and sweeping lawns.
While gazing at one of the mansions, the trio notice three men frantically searching for something through the streets. Later, [[Misty]] suggests that they go looking at the houses of movie stars, which [[Brock]] only agrees to because of the thought of actresses. On the way the the houses, a [[Growlithe (Pokémon)|Growlithe]] charges around a corner, obviously unsettled by something. Ash attempts to calm the Growlithe, but it continues to squirm, and eventually, something comes dislodged from the frantic Pokémon.

The Growlithe flees the scene as the three look at it's attacker: an unfriendly looking [[Snubbull (Pokémon)|Snubbull]] with pink ribbons on, which Brock suggests means that it's a girl. Soon after discovering the Pokémon, one of the three men they saw earlier appears, calling out to a woman that he's found her Snubbull.

The woman thanks the three for saving Snubbull and explains that she's been in a state of panic since her Snubbull ran off the night before. While the woman is exuberant about her Pokémon's return, Snubbull seemed upset to be back with it's master. To thank them, the woman invites the three over for dinner at her house, the same one they were gazing at earlier when they initially saw the three men. While they go inside, Brock points out that Snubbull didn't seem too happy about going home, as it was struggling to flee from the old woman's arms, but on the inside, the trio see that Snubbull has little reason to be displeased; it has it's own room, closet, and toy room, but as Ash points out, anyone would rather be running around in the woman's giant yard instead of cooped up in the house. While Misty and Ash are convinced the woman takes perfect care of Snubbull, Brock remains suspicious.

At dinner, Snubbull won't eat, and the woman demands the chef makes something that she will, but the chef points out that Snubbull never eats anything. Upon hearing this, Brock pulls out some popcorn balls (traditionally rice balls in the Japanese version) which Snubbull happily eats. The woman says that she will always have popcorn balls in the house from then on. Brock and Misty then realize that Snubbull just wanted a taste of reality, away from the rich life.
Outside, [[Team Rocket]] is lurking in the bushes, gazing at the mansion. [[James]] recalls his life when he was rich as a child; he tells them how boring it was not being allowed out of the rich life. [[Meowth (Team Rocket)|Meowth]] and [[Jessie]] then tell him it's better than being broke.

When Team Rocket tries to sneak in, Snubbull catches them lurking and licks Meowth in the face. In only a moment, the three servants catch Team Rocket in the bushes and come running after them. Team Rocket takes off, but Snubbull latches on to Meowth's tail as he runs. Before they can flee the scene, Ash, Misty, and Brock bring them to a halt. Jessie, annoyed that Meowth is more concerned about his tail than the kids, tries to sling the Snubbull off of him with success, sending Snubbull flying into the old woman's arms.

James sends out his [[James's Weezing|Weezing]] to use [[SmokeScreen (move)|smokescreen]], which gives them an escape, but Snubbull still wants to latch onto Meowth's tail again, and its squirming still concerned Brock. Once they are back inside, Brock points out that Snubbull looks agitated, but the woman says that she's just nervous like most brides on their wedding day. The woman explains that her Snubbull needs a companion, and shows a picture of the groom to trio: an old, rich Snubbull, which is when Ash and Misty realize that Snubbull ''was'' running away, just to escape the wedding and the pampering. The woman says she has to leave to see the groom and invites the three to the wedding. They all agree they have to do something to save Snubbull from a forced wedding.

After attending to Meowth's tail, Team Rocket devises a plan to capture Snubull, and their bait is his tail.

As Ash, Misty, and Brock spy on the lunch between the woman and her Snubbull's fiance's master, they notice that the two women are oblivious the the she-Snubbull's unhappiness concerning the matter. Unable to contain himself, Brock jumps out from the plants and confronts the woman of her selfish actions. While they tell her what her Snubbull ''actually'' wants, Team Rocket appear on the chandelier and say the motto. When Meowth appears, Snubbull is even more aroused, and begins to thrash in her owner's arms.

Team Rocket lower Meowth down on a fishing line to try and 'catch' Snubbull, who is able to free herself from her owner's arms and latch onto the tail. After Team Rocket reeled in the Snubbull, Ash attempts to battle with them, but Team Rocket releases hooks which clamp onto Ash's feet, immobilizing him long enough for Team Rocket to escape.

After fleeing the scene, Team Rocket hide out in the estate shed. Jessie, annoyed by being in a shed, begins to yell at Meowth, but Snubbull protects him from her by standing in between them, and soon after, latches onto his tail again.

Outside, Ash and his friends are search for Team Rocket, but they hear Meowth's cries of pain, followed by him bursting from the shed outside with Snubbull on his tail. Jessie and James demand that Meowth get back in the shed, and then notice the police looking at them, and they begin another escape. Jessie sends out [[Jessie's Arbok|Arbok]] who [[Tail Whip (move)|whips them with his tail]], followed by James, who sends out his Weezing. Ash in response sends out [[Ash's Heracross|Heracross]] who attacks both Pokémon, and faints Arbok temporarily, but then gets back up when Snubbull attacks his tail.

Upon seeing her Snubbull's violence, the woman is offended, but Brock tells her Snubbull is actually doing a ''good'' thing, and suggests she tell Snubbull to use [[Tackle (move)|tackle]]. The woman does so, and Snubbull does so with success. Arbok tackles back, and Snubbull uses [[Scary Face (move)|Scary Face]] on Arbok and clamps down on his tail. James sends out his [[James's Victreebel|Victreebel]], which Snubbull also easily defeats. At the end of the battle, the police come after Team Rocket, but they run for [[Meowth Balloon|the balloon]], but Ash is able to stop them from escape with Heracross's [[Horn Attack (move)|horn attack]], sending them blasting off again.

Before Ash and his friends leave, the woman says that she won't marry her Snubbull but she worries that she'll be lonely, but Ash reassures her that Snubbull will be all right by herself. After seeing Snubbull battle, the woman agrees to not be as over protective as she was before. The woman lets Snubbull roam in a play area outside alone, and after releasing Snubbull, Ash and his friends set off, still aimed for Violet City.

A vine in Snubbull's play area reminds her of Meowth's tail, and as her owner suggests expanding the play area, Snubbull runs away into the sunset, going to look for Meowth.
