A '''type-enhancing item''', when [[held item|held]], enhances the power of attacks with the corresponding type. As of [[Generation IV]], these items boost attacks by 20%; in previous generations, they only boost attacks by 10%.
If these items are sold, [[Poké Mart]]s will pay {{PDollar}}50 for them with the exception of Charcoal, for which Poké Marts will pay {{PDollar}}4,900, and the Adamant, Lustrous, and Griseous Orbs for which Poké Marts will offer {{PDollar}}5,000.

In [[Johto]], several of these items can be obtained from the [[Week Siblings]].

Hello, I am a rather dormant user. You see, I joined the community a few months ago, and since then, I have been finding it difficult where to begin. I only have about 60 content-related edits. I have noticed that the recent changes page tends to move like that of Wikipedia's, quickly and uneasily. Users seem to make edits here more related to code and such, and seeing as it is blocked from IP address editing, it is less prone to vandalism. It is a very nicely written and organized wikia, and the top-editors here should very proud of themselves. *Although it is said that Metang is made up of two Beldum, there is no visible evidence of this. In the only anime episode to date showing a Beldum evolution, ''[[AG126|Saved by the Beldum]]'', when [[Morrison]]'s Beldum evolves into Metang, it "creates" another Beldum and newly developed main body to evolve, instead of fusing with another Beldum. Likewise, if a Metang evolution is shown, it is highly unlikely it would involve two Metang evolving together. This is similar to the games.

Beldum is a robotic lifeform that has a long body with a set of claws sticking out of its rear end. It has one large red eye in the center of its nearly-round head, which is set into a ball-and-socket joint at its front end. It has a short crest above its head, projecting from its body. Even though Beldum and its evolved forms are mechanical creatures, they still have emotions, the need to eat and a way of reproducing. Beldum has been said to be related to {{p|Magnemite}} due to the fact that both of them are partially Steel-type that create electromagnetic waves to float in the air, and probably due to the fact that they evolve in a similar fashion, it takes two Beldum to evolve into a Metang and two Metang to evolve into a Metagross.

Beldum's body is magnetised, and it uses magnetism to move, communicate, and control its attacks. Beldum's skills in battle are extremely limited as it is only capable of using {{m|Take Down}}.
