Castelia City (Japanese: ヒウンシティ Hiun City) is a large seaside city located in south central Unova. Unlike past cities, Castelia is a huge, sprawling metropolis, sporting many towering skyscrapers and other tall buildings. The city exists on the bottom of Unova's central peninsula, south of the desert and north of the sea, making for a perfect harbor city.

The city has only two possible entrances on foot: from the desert in the north, and from Unova's eastern third by way of the Skyarrow Bridge.

Castelia City is geographically the largest city in the Pokémon world, and contains many structural elements that have not been seen in cities in other regions. The city's core is a central business district, with huge skyscrapers and other commercial buildings; a series of alleyways lead into this core, where smaller shops are set up among city traffic. The city's outskirts are bounded on all sides by harbor, where ships provide traffic to other regions in the Pokémon world.

* Castelia's Japanese town motto is ヒウンは 飛ぶ雲 めでたい雲.
* Even though it was officially stated that no Pokémon from previous generations would appear in Black and White before obtaining the National Pokédex, a Pikachu can be seen with a Hiker inside the same building as the Name Rater in Castelia City. Another Pikachu is depicted on a billboard in the city, above the Pokémon Center. However, they most likely meant that players could not obtain or battle any Pokémon before the National Pokédex.
Trivia
* Kangaskhan does not evolve to or from any Pokémon, leading to controversy over the fact that it hatches with a baby already in its pouch in the games. It should also be noted that the Glitch Pokémon 'M evolves into Kangaskhan. This is due to Kangaskhan's position in the game's internal programming, and is also why 'M (among other glitch Pokémon) can also evolve into Rhydon.
* Strangely enough, Kangaskhan is the only Pokémon in the game that has had a known "baby form" ever since the Generation I but has never had an obtainable pre-evolution form (barring 'M). The only other Pokémon to have a situation like this could be Chansey, (with an unhatched egg in her pouch); however, this changed with the release of Happiny.

Origin
Kangaskhan is based on a kangaroo.
Name origin
Kangaskhan's name is a combination of kangaroo and Genghis Khan, founder of the Mongol Empire (possibly how its Pokédex data refers to how violently protective it is of its child). Ironically, Genghis Khan was a male, but Kangaskhan is a female-only species. Its Japanese name is derived from English words "kangaroo" (カンガルー kangarū) and "ruler" (ルーラー rūrā). The German name is a combination of kangaroo and Mama.
Pokémon watchers travel the world, and go looking for all kinds of Pokémon so they can observe and study their characteristics and abilities. They also search for new, undiscovered Pokémon.

They often write reports to be reviewed by Pokémon professors.

Pokémon watchers, like some Pokémon researchers, are known to be eccentric due to their overwhelming fascination with Pokémon. The famous Pokémon watcher Dr. Quincy T. Quackenpoker, for instance, devoted his entire life to studying Magikarp.
Trivia
*Wingull, along with Surskit and Magikarp, is one of the few Water-type Pokémon that cannot learn Surf.
*Wingull is one of fourteen Pokémon that one could collect foreign Pokédex entries for.
Origin
Wingull appears to be derived from a seagull.
Name origin
Wingull's name is a combination of wing and gull, whereas Camome is a corruption of the Japanese word for seagull, 鴎 kamome, on which Wingull is based.
Marina (Japanese: マリナ Marina) is a trainer from New Bark Town. Her starter was a Totodile. She received her starter Pokémon at the same time as Jimmy and Vincent. Her Japanese voice actress is 村井かずさ Kazusa Murai, her English voice actress is Kelly Davis, and her Brazilian Portuguese voice actress is Letícia Quinto.

She appeared in The Legend of Thunder!, where she battled Attila and Hun to save Raikou with the help of Jimmy, Vincent, and Eusine. She loves cute Pokémon and cute nicknames (Little Pink for her Jigglypuff, for instance), and does synchronized movement with them when she calls them out. She appears to have somewhat of a crush on Jimmy.

Her goal, unlike most other trainers, is to be a "Pokémon Idol". The specifics of being a Pokémon Idol are never made clear in the anime, but it seems to entail putting on a show while battling. Notably, she first appeared before the debut of Pokémon Contests, though in recent appearances, she seems to have been retconned into being a Coordinator. However, she has entered the Silver Conference along with Jimmy a full year before Jackson.

She also loves men in capes, especially Lance, having a whole notebook full of pictures of him. She also has an attraction to Eusine as he wears a cape as well.

Recent appearances
In the intro of Pokémon Ranger and the Temple of the Sea, Marina is seen running by the coast with Lugia and her three Pokémon: Little Miss, Wani-Wani, and Little Pink.

In Not on My Watch Ya Don't, Marina appears on the cover of a magazine, modeling the Pokétch. This may imply her goal of becoming an idol has come true. Additionally, she makes another cameo appearance in A Stand-Up Sit-Down!, performing in a contest on Zoey's laptop. Marian calls her a top coordinator. This would imply she has a Contest Pass for either Johto or Sinnoh. Marina even appears to have her own merchandise; one of the customers to the café in DP062 wears a t-shirt with Marina's face on it.

Trivia
*Her overall design is based on the Kris of Pokémon Crystal.
*When Jackson (Vincent) appeared in the Silver Conference, he referred Marina and Jimmy as "Dani and Yoshi," leading many to believe that "Dani" was the official English name for Marina. Whether this was the original intention remains unknown. However, in The Legend of Thunder!, she is properly identified as Marina.
*Besides her starter, all of Marina's known Pokémon evolve using an evolutionary stone.
*Even though the specifics of being a Pokémon Idol are never made clear in the anime, a Trainer class introduced in Generation IV is known as Pokémon Idols. One of them, after battle, states "A Pokémon idol follows their fans, while a trainer follows their Pokémon".
