==About Me==
Hi. I'm Ivy Misrose, or Remew. Call me Remew or Ivy. I'm a long-time fan of Pokémon. Back in the late '90s, I lived and breathed the phenomenon. I've lost interest in the anime, and I think that after Mewtwo Strikes Back (which I still regard as a masterpiece), the movies declined in quality.
*My favorite Pokémon movie is Mewtwo Strikes Back.
*My favorite character from the anime is Mewtwo.
*I prefer the English-dub Mewtwo over the Japanese version.
*My favorite human character from the anime is Ash.

==My Name Origins==
''Remew'' is a reference to "Mew again", or Mewtwo ("Mew again" was a translation or mistranslation of a name for Mewtwo I saw suggested on the site Copycat). Also, Remew sounds like the word "renew", which one could take as a reference to Mewtwo's epiphany in the movies.

==In Games==
I do own an Action Replay DS, and I do use it to cheat on Pearl version, but I do not use it to gain an advantage over someone else. Because I cheat, I do not use the GTS or any other Pokémon Wi-Fi application.
== Glitch Infobox? ==
While adding sprites to the glitch articles I noticed that some of the articles had the standard Pokémon infobox (with the categories removed), while others had none whatsoever. I also noticed that the majority of the infoboxes had "N/A" or "None" in most of the fields while the relevant information was in a list in the article itself. I propose that we make a seperate infobox for glitch Pokémon that includes relevant glitch-specific information (hexadecimal identifier, Pokédex number, equivalents in other versions, whether its Pokédex entry is terminated correctly, etc). Good idea? :Seperate infobox, hm? I think it's a good idea.. like, instead of the regular stuff, it'd have the corresponding Mew glitch Special hex and stuff. :As you may have noticed I made separate type templates for the glitch infobox. The reason being is that the standard Pokémon type templates add the page to type categories, and consensus seems to dictate that we keep the glitch Pokémon seperate from the officially recognized ones (That and many of the glitch Pokémon have glitch types, which don't have real categories (ex. there is no Category: Pokémaniac-type Pokémon nor will there likely be one in future). I've looked over a few articles and from what I can tell, the consensus within Bulbapedia is to '''not''' treat the glitch Pokémon as "real Pokémon". On the [[MissingNo.]] article there was actually an edit war with some people attempting to classify it as a "Pokémon", but from what I can tell the clear consensus is that MissingNo is not a "Pokémon". To that end, I modified the Template:GlitchPkmnInfobox so that it doesn't put the page in any Pokémon categories. However, recently MissingNo. was put into Category:Normal-type Pokémon again. Should it be acceptable to include glitches in the type categories? I'm only asking because I don't want to revert that edit and inadvertently start another edit war. :Eh, I think we should.. if it happens to share a normal type, however. So no Category:Bird-type Pokémon. [[User:Tina|Tina]] [[Special:Contributions/Tina|δ]][[User talk:Tina|♫]] 02:01, 6 January 2008 (UTC)
== Notability criteria ==

Here's something that's really been bugging me. Where exactly do we draw the line between a notable glitch Pokémon and a non-notable one? Obviously [[MissingNo.]] is notable, and apparently the 20-something other Gen I glitches listed are too... but what about the 120-something others that ''aren't''? Furthermore, should glitch items and attacks deserve pages? Even pages such as List of glitch items...?
Here's what I think.

1st. gen: Any Glitch Pokémon you can obtain by any method that doesn't require a cheating device could be considered notable. Anything else, no.

2nd through 4th gen: Every Glitch Pokémon for these should be considered notable, as there are significantly less of them and even fewer obtainable w/o a cheating device.

But this is just my opinion.

Also, we should do something for the glitch moves, but as to what, I don't know. <small><span style="color:#FF0000">--</span>
''[[Glitch Pokémon|Glitch]] and [[Pokémon|Official]] Pokémon. There is no real difference between the two. [[User talk:Missingno. Master|In my opinion]], the two [[User:Missingno. Master/The Order of the Glitch|should be considered equal]]!<span style="color:#FF0000">--</span> quoted by {{u|Missingno. Master}}
</small> 19:55, 30 January 2008 (UTC)
:: Well, most of the Glitch Pokémon you say require a Cheating Device can be found when fighting a trainer using the Old Man Glitch. You see the Glitch pokemon when you fight the Trainer, you just need the Gameshark to capture it. In my opinion, we should document these glitches, and merely have a notice at the top that states how it can found without a Gameshark, but cannot be captured without one. If B óË ÁN, a glitch that basically does NOTHING can get its own article, why can't these glitches? --[[User:Boxman|Boxman]], a Guy who works with Glitches. 18:57, 9 June 2008 (UTC)

== A proposal ==

I think that we should make the Glitch Pokémon articles titled in a way similar to the Pokémon articles. Example: "MissingNo." moved to "MissingNo. (Glitch Pokémon)"., ".4" moved to ".4 (Glitch Pokémon)", ect.. See the thing? This would be effective in stopping people from moving MissingNo. to MissingNo. (Pokémon), and stuff of that sort. I would also propose a link template like [[Template:P]]. Maybe <nowiki>{{gp|name}}</nowiki>. <small><span style="color:#FF0000">--</span>
''[[Glitch Pokémon|Glitch]] and [[Pokémon|Official]] Pokémon. There is no real difference between the two. [[User talk:Missingno. Master|In my opinion]], the two [[User:Missingno. Master/The Order of the Glitch|should be considered equal]]!<span style="color:#FF0000">--</span> quoted by {{u|Missingno. Master}}
::But you never know when you get the extreme Glitch Pokémon extremist who tries to do something like moving [[MissingNo.]] to [[MissingNo. (Pokémon)]]. True, I did at one point seriously consider doing so, but somehow forgot.
:::IMHO this is unnecessary. What would this suffix accomplish, in terms of disambiguation? The Pokémon articles are titled like that to disambiguate them versus articles on significant members of that species ([[Pikachu]] disambiguates to [[Pikachu (Pokémon)]] and [[Ash's Pikachu]]) since individual Pokémon usually don't have their own names (Ash's Pikachu is just called Pikachu, as are most of the Pikachu in the world). AFAIK "MissingNo." or ".4" wouldn't refer to anything else, and even if we did decide otherwise, making a template to link to them would be a bit excessive - ''how'' many times would we link to one of these articles in article space? :And the old argument opens up again.... Recently, [[PkMn]] was moved to [[PkMn (Glitch Pokémon)]], because [[PkMn]] was to be made a disambig. page. See, PKMN is a common abbreviation for [[Pokémon]]. THERE'S the necessity for the (Glitch Pokémon) suffix. On that page at least. And, just my opinion here, I don't think it would look very professional on Bulbapedia's part to have one Glitch Pokémon article with said suffix, and no such thing for the others, see where I'm getting at here? <small>I'm [[User:Missingno.
The glitch move "TM05" sharply raises your EVADE stat.

The more important may be noticed more, and you might decide to make an article on it, unless I do.

It's a Glitch Pokemon - [Lots of glitched symbols]g[Some more glitched symbols] (I like to call him ||-g) On first capture it is apparently like a Rhydon. On second or later capture, it is a powerful Glitch Pokemon that (on lvl 42) comes with Mega Punch, TM05, Fire Punch and Growl ( i think )

It only comes when you put in the code that is meant to make wild Togepis come in Pokemon Red/Blue. Koga will challenge you (for some reason). And he has 6 "||-g"'s All at Lvl 42.
==Lots of work needed==
Firstly, all the articles need to be moved from [name] to [name] (Glitch Pokémon) to match {{Gp|PkMn}}. Secondly, many of the articles need sprites to replace the battle screens, nothingness, and in one instance, party screenshot in the infoboxes. Then, we must somehow integrate their evolutions into their evolved forms' pages (like under an "Unofficial" or "Glitch" heading). I've also noticed an inconsistancy in evoboxes between articles. Some use the old ones, some use the new ones. And then, some articles have no infoboxes at all! I can't do all this by myself, much as I'd like to be able to, so I need the help of the numerous people who have signed up for this project. ==Problem with To-Do List==
Um, in the GlitchDex To-Do List, task #3 states:
3: Integrate the Glitch Pokémon evolutions into the pages of the official Pokémon they evolve into. However, they would be under a separate sub-heading in the evolution section.

I went to check out Kangaskhan's page and see if Missingno. had already been integrated, and I found someone put a protesting message in the editing page, saying something to the effect of that doing such a thing wouldn't be the right thing to do. It got me thinking if maybe glitch evolutions shouldn't be integrated into official Pokémon. Thoughts? -[[User:Remew|Remew]]

'''Invisible {{shiny2}} {{p|Bulbasaur}}''' is a [[glitch Pokémon]] found only in [[Pokémon Diamond and Pearl]].
It is usually found in [[Sinnoh]]'s [[Oreburgh Mine]] with the use of an [[Action Replay]], although there are other ways in encountering it with an [[Action Replay]].[http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=YHrw6ZC8BXU]. It can also be encountered in a [[Wild Pokémon|wild]] [[double battle]] when using a cheat code to walk over water, or in {{si|Victory Road}}.

Invisible shiny Bulbasaur always appears at Lv.0 with 0 Max HP, similarly to [[Ten question marks|??????????]] in [[Generation III]]. Its name appears as "dl dl..." appearing several times; a message displaying its name will have a glitched transition into the next message. It does not appear to have any usable attacks &mdash; in double battles, the only attack it can use is Struggle. It is apparently invisible, although it may have a sprite resembling [[DPBox]]'s (when it uses Struggle in a double battle, the bottom of a sprite resembling [[DPBox]]'s is visible at the top of the screen). Its name is derived from the fact that at the start of a battle it sparkles like a shiny Pokémon, and Bulbasaur's cry is heard, suggesting that it is a shiny Bulbasaur. If the player attempts to attack it, the game will assume there is no target and end the battle immediately. Sometimes, it cannot be directly attacked at all and the player must use an attack that affects both enemies. When selecting an enemy to attack, the button on the touch screen representing the Invisible shiny Bulbasaur has no sprite or name.

By using the [[Cheating|walk through walls]] code to walk over water, the player can trigger a [[Wild Pokémon|wild]] [[double battle]] with an Invisible shiny Bulbasaur and a real Pokémon. An Invisible shiny Bulbasaur's shadow cannot be seen under it. Instead, the shadow is found beside the real Pokémon. The game, thinking that the player is traveling with a partner, will display two of the player's back sprite, one being the player and the "clone" being the nonexistent partner. The partner, whose name is either nothing more than a blank space or the player's name (saying "Pokémon Trainer ___ sent out..."), will send out a DP Box. If the DP Box is made to faint, the Invisible shiny Bulbasaur will consequently faint as well. If the player does not run, then after both real Pokémon have taken their turns, one of the glitches will attack the other with {{m|Struggle}}, causing both to faint (one from damage, the other from recoil). It is also possible to obtain Invisible shiny Bulbasaur by using the [[Cheating|instant egg]] code when two Pokémon are not in the daycare and then using the [[Cheating|hatch eggs fast]] code to hatch an otherwise unhatchable egg. However, this often results in freezing the game. In some rare cases, an Action Replay code input wrongly may cause a permanent [[Roaming Pokémon|roaming]] Invisible shiny Bulbasaur to appear.

Interestingly, in a wild double battle, Invisible shiny Bulbasaur copies its partner's Speed stat and replaces all participating Pokémon's cries (including DPBox's) with a Bulbasaur's cry. After each attack animation, its HP counter disappears.

Invisible shiny Bulbasaur is essentially a {{wp|Null (computer programming)|null}}, which happens when an empty space in the party is called to battle, which is why the game doesn't read it as a real target.
==About Me==

==My Name Origins==

==In Games==
I do own an Action Replay DS, and I do use it to cheat on Pearl version, but I do not use it to gain an advantage over someone else. Because I cheat, I do not use the GTS or any other Pokémon Wi-Fi application.

==In Closing==
I love Bulbapedia and am so glad I joined. I'm very excited about being a member of this fine community and contributing to this database.
===Scope and aims===
Project Glitch Pokémon covers all articles about Glitch Pokémon.

The aims of this project are to write comprehensive articles on Glitch Pokémon (and greatly improve existing articles on Glitch Pokémon), including specifics on how to obtain them, base stats, type advantages, level-up moves, TM/HM lists, and sprites. Our main sources of information will be [http://www.glitchcity.info] and [http://www.trsrockin.com].
Our main sources of information will be [http://www.glitchcity.info] and [http://www.trsrockin.com].

Its name appears as a two-letter word appearing several times; a message displaying its name will have a glitched transition into the next message.

The only ones who don't have an Amity Square Pokémon are {{Tracey}} and [[Max]], and the latter because he doesn't have any Pokémon.
*There is also a small location in [[Fall City]], [[Fiore]] called Amity Square.
*It is revealed by a citizen of [[Hearthome City]] that [[Mr. Backlot]], owner of the [[Trophy Garden]], owns Amity Square.
*If the [[Cheating|walk through walls]] cheat is used, the first Pokémon in the party will be taken into the garden with the {{player}}; it will not, however, be able to be seen or be able to pick up items. The Pokémon can only be noticed when speaking to one of the women near the gates.
*If the walk through walls cheat is used to leave a Pokemon in the Amity Square, go into one of the entrance buildings, and re-enter at the gate, the game freezes.

Remew: /* Beginning of the {{pkmn|universe}} */

There are many stories and legends surrounding the history of the {{g|world}} as it is known to us today. Nobody knows if such legends are true or not, but there are many clues in the games, anime and manga that suggest that they are.

Below is a timeline of events in the history of the Pokémon world, primarily those established in the [[canon]] of the {{g|game}}s since these apply most to other forms of canon. There is also a separate [[Timeline of events in the anime|timeline of events]] for the {{g|anime}}.

==Timeline==
===Beginning of the {{pkmn|universe}}===
This information is based primarily on [[Sinnoh myths|the mythology]] of both the [[Sinnoh]] and [[Hoenn]] regions.

* In a void of nothingness, a single {{pkmn|egg}} comes into being, which then hatches into {{p|Arceus}}, the first Pokémon to be in existence. Arceus creates {{p|Dialga}}, {{p|Palkia}}, and possibly {{p|Giratina}} and gives Dialga and Palkia the abilities to control time and space. Giratina, for its violent behavior, is banished to [[Distortion World|another dimension]]. Then, during very early formation of the world, possibly sooner, Arceus creates {{p|Azelf}}, {{p|Uxie}}, and {{p|Mesprit}} to create willpower, knowledge, and emotion respectively, things that are in all modern humans and Pokémon. They dive to the bottom of present-day [[Lake Valor]], [[Lake Acuity]], and [[Lake Verity]], respectively, dubbing the term "the lake trio". Around this time, {{p|Mew}} came into being by itself, containing the DNA of every Pokémon to exist and exist in the future.

*{{p|Groudon}} is formed deep inside the Earth, from magma, {{p|Kyogre}} is formed by the pressure in the deep sea trenches, and {{p|Rayquaza}} is formed by the minerals of the ozone layer. Rayquaza proceeds to fly around in the ozone layer, occasionally coming to rest at [[Sky Pillar]]. Groudon and Kyogre then proceed to create landmass and fill the sea, respectively. A chance meeting turns the two into rivals, and a conflict for dominance over the Earth begins. This battle continues until Rayquaza quells it, causing Groudon and Kyogre to retreat to special caverns, where they {{m|rest}} until the events of [[Generation III]] many years later. The Red and Blue Orbs are created to prevent the reawakening of Groudon and Kyogre, and are left at [[Mt. Pyre]] for safekeeping. At this time, Mew may have been plentiful and lived in large numbers.

*Landmasses such as [[Mt. Coronet]] are created, and {{p|Regigigas}} moves the continents, forming the regions. The [[Sinnoh]] region is created around Mt. Coronet. During this violent procedure, [[Stark Mountain]] is created and {{p|Heatran}} is formed in lava. Arceus creates the Adamant, Lustrous and Platinum Orbs before falling into a never-ending sleep.

===Prehistory===
This information is based primarily on the study of [[Fossil|fossils]] and other archaeological remains. Some of this information is also based on scientific research.

* Millions of years before [[Generation I]]
** Earliest known [[Fossil|prehistoric Pokémon]] exist. It is possible that the Mew population may have decreased at this stage, as they slowly gave way to other Pokémon species.
** First humans appear.
* Stone Age
** Humans gather rocks from various locations and use them to create {{p|Regirock}}.
* Ice Age
** Humans use ice from the South Pole to create {{p|Regice}}.
** As the climate begins to grow warmer after the Ice Age, the {{p|Mamoswine}} population decreases.
* Iron Age
** Humans create {{p|Registeel}}. Some researchers believe that it was formed from a special kind of metal not of this planet.
* After the Iron Age
** {{p|Regigigas}} is sealed away in [[Snowpoint Temple]], and {{p|Regirock}}, {{p|Regice}} and {{p|Registeel}} are sealed away in the Hoenn region.
* 1500 years before [[Generation I]]
** The earliest known system for writing is developed and used at the [[Ruins of Alph]], [[Tanoby Ruins]], and [[Solaceon Ruins]]. Archaeologists are currently unsure whether the nearly identical {{p|Unown}} preceded or succeeded the writing system, but it is assumed they share some sort of connection.
** The {{p|Farfetch'd}} population decreases due to overhunting.
** {{p|Magikarp}} population mutates and becomes weaker.

===Recent history===
This information is based on historic records.

* c. 700 years before [[Generation I]]
** [[Tin Tower]] and [[Brass Tower]] are constructed in [[Ecruteak City]], and {{p|Lugia}} and {{p|Ho-Oh}} perch at their tops.
* c. 500 years before [[Generation I]]
** The first {{p|Spiritomb}} is sealed in the [[Hallowed Tower]].
** The [[Cianwood City#Cianwood City Pharmacy|Cianwood City Pharmacy]] is built.
* c. 400 years before [[Generation I]]
** [[Azalea Town]] in Johto is struck by a long-term drought wave. After bringing the rain back once again by {{m|yawn}}ing, {{p|Slowpoke}} gains a honorable position in that town.
* c. 150 years before [[Generation I]]
** [[Brass Tower]] burns to the ground, killing three Pokémon inside. Lugia flees to the [[Whirl Islands]], Ho-Oh resurrects the three as the [[legendary beasts]] and flies off in search of a pure-hearted [[Pokémon Trainer|Trainer]].
** The first [[Pokémon League]] competitions take place.

* 1969
** [[wp:Apollo 11|First humans land on the Moon]].

* 1990's
** The ferry [[S.S. Tidal]] is constructed.
** The first Pokémon created by scientific engineering, {{p|Porygon}}, is created.
** Cyrus is born and grows up, withdrawing from contact with other people.
** Rotom inhabits an [[Old Chateau|abandoned mansion]] in Sinnoh.

===Contemporary history===
====Games====
* Some years prior to [[Generation I]]
** {{p|Mewtwo}} is cloned from {{p|Mew}}, and later escapes and destroys [[Cinnabar Island]]'s [[Pokémon Mansion]].
** [[Saffron Gym|Sabrina's gym]] is declared the official gym of Saffron City after a Pokémon battle between [[Sabrina]] and the leader of the [[Fighting Dojo]].
** Giratina returns to the Pokémon world.
** The [[Battle Frontier]]s open in Hoenn and Sinnoh.
