Brock's Marshtomp (Japanese: タケシのヌマクロー Takeshi's Numacraw) was the second Pokémon acquired by Brock in Hoenn, and his seventh altogether. Its Japanese voice actor is 三木眞一郎 Shinichirō Miki (林原めぐみ Megumi Hayashibara when it was a Mudkip).

Brock caught Mudkip in episode AG025. Mudkip lived at a pond where a number of Mudkip were bred. While most of the Pokémon left the pond as they grew older, the one that Brock caught was already mature and acted as a guardian of the younger, smaller Mudkip. It joined Brock and left the pond after he helped it rescue itself and the younger Mudkip from a Team Rocket attack.

In AG148, Mudkip evolved into a Marshtomp during a training battle versus Ash's Grovyle. It then became smitten with a Flaaffy, while Brock lusted for its trainer.

Marshtomp is among the better-behaved of the Pokémon that belong to Brock, Ash and May. It is often seen helping Ash's Pikachu break up scuffles between Pokémon. Being a Water-type Pokémon, it usually worked with Brock's Ludicolo to launch double Water Gun attacks. It is also called upon to search for things underwater. It is also often used to help track down a missing Pokémon or object (usually due to Team Rocket stealing it) using the fin on its head as a radar.

The Sevii Islands are an archipelago of nine islands and other islands surrounding them east and southeast of Kanto. They have appeared only in the Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen versions.

The Islands
*Knot Island
*Boon Island
*Kin Island
*Floe Island
*Chrono Island
*Quest Island
*Navel Rock
*Birth Island

Accessibility
In FireRed and LeafGreen, they are accessible from the Vermilion City harbor via a system of boats called the Seagallop Ferries. To be able to access the Knot, Boon, and Floe Islands, one needs a Tri Pass, received from Bill. To be able to access any of the islands except Navel Rock and Birth Island, one needs a Rainbowpass, received from Celio in One Island. To be able to access Navel Rock, one needs a Mysticticket, and to be able to access Birth Island, one needs a Auroraticket, both of which can be obtained promotionally with Mystery Gift.

According to an old woman on Quest Island, they were named the Sevii Islands because they were made in seven days.

Trivia
Although there are only nine islands total, some data in the game reserved for location name index points reveal the following values:
* Sevii Isle 22
* Sevii Isle 23
* Sevii Isle 24

These islands are not accessible, because they do not exist.
