Trivia
* The Haruba desert and nearby volcano in the eastern section of Almia may or may not be connected to Orre, as mountains and deserts are what the Orre region is primarily made of. Fans have speculated on the extent of this connection.
* It could also possibly be located just south of Sinnoh, considering the shape of the region when compared to the inaccessible "tail" end of Sinnoh.
The Link Beamer is an item used in Pokemon Trozei!. It was developed by Professor P at SOL and is used for transporting Poké Balls. This is how it works: It scans a pile of Poké Balls and then has two functions, the first one being a scanner. It detects which Pokémon are in the Poké Balls. Its other function is the ability to beam the Poké Balls somewhere. The problem is, the Pokémon inside must be emitting a strong enough signal. One Pokémon alone does not have enough power, so you need more than one. You need four of the same kind, this strengthens the signal they emit, letting them lock onto the signal. The transferred Pokémon are then sent to the SOL Satellite where they are then relayed to the SOL Base far ffrom the scene. As a result, they receive the Pokémon.
My Pokémon Ranch (Japanese: みんなのポケモン牧場 Everyone's Pokémon Ranch) is a WiiWare title that was announced at Nintendo's fall 2007 conference. It was developed by Ambrella and can be purchased for 1,000 Wii Points. Pokémon can be transferred from and stored on a farm. The player can use up to 8 Diamond and Pearl games to send their Pokémon, which then can be organized in the ranch by factors like height and weight. Hayley will give the player information on the Pokémon, which will be different from the info in the games. She will also bring a Pokémon each day to the ranch for which the player can trade.

The farm is owned by Hayley, a friend of Bebe's. Players can sort, take pictures of, and interact with up to 1,000 of their Pokémon.

It is essentially a Generation IV version of Pokémon Box. However, it is notable that Pokémon Ranch is similar to Pokémon Battle Revolution in that it will only interact with specific save files. This means that if a Pokémon is placed on the ranch, only the game from which it was placed onto the ranch may take the Pokémon back off it. This prevents people storing Pokémon and starting a new game - something for which previous storage titles were quite useful.

Features
*My Pokémon Ranch is able to connect, store and withdraw Pokémon from 8 different Diamond and Pearl game cards using the Nintendo DS's connectivity. It is able to store up to 1,000 Pokémon at a time.
*Pokémon and Miis can interact in full 3D on the Wii. A Pokémon's behavior in the ranch can be determined by the Pokémon's nature, moves, etc.
*The player is able to take pictures at any time when on the ranch and save them to the message board or a SD card. Taking pictures of objects can be made easier by applying a Focus Lock or spinning the screen around using the Nunchuk.
*Using WiiConnect24, you can send pictures you have taken on the ranch to other friends.
*On occasions, your player and Hayley can trade Pokémon on the ranch. Her traded Pokémon can be withdrawn onto the player's Diamond and Pearl game card.
*A Pokémon's shiny coloring and gender differences are visible in the game.
*If a Pokémon came from a special place or is level 100, they will sparkle in a green and blue hue, respectively.

Once a player has stored Pokémon for the first time, Hayley will take the player's Pokédex data and from it, request "Wanted Pokémon", Pokémon that are typically not yet in the player's Pokédex (although once the player has caught a lot of Pokémon, she may request one that the player has already caught). The game will provide the player with all the information on acquiring the listed Pokémon, including information on a Pokémon's pre-evolved form, and if an item is needed to evolve it, where that item can be found. This can be used to both assist and motivate said player into completing their Pokédex. The player is given 10 days to acquire this Pokémon until the post is removed and a new one is made. "Wanted Pokémon" requests are tied to specific game cards, if one trainer deposits a Pokémon that is on another's wanted list, nothing will happen. If all of a player's Wanted posts expire, Hayley will occasionally ask the player to connect their DS so new ones can be made.

Hayley's Trades
Hayley's trades

Whenever the player brings in one of the "Wanted Pokémon", Hayley will offer to trade one of her Pokémon for it, and the Pokémon received will be one of the following twenty and will know a TM, egg move, or have something else that makes them unique.

All of these Pokémon will have the OT Hayley (English) or ユカリ (Japanese) and the Trainer ID number 01000. Note that all of the Pokémon with specific natures cannot have a different nature, gender, and ability and they cannot be shiny.

Special Pokémon
These two Pokémon are only available once some requirements are filled. Once 250 Pokémon are present on the ranch, the ranch will expand and jump to a new level. When this level is obtained, Hayley will add a new Pokémon to the "Wanted" board, Leafeon. When Leafeon is brought to the ranch, she will offer to trade it for her Phione. When 999 Pokémon are present, the ranch will expand and jump to level 25, the maximum level. Once this level is obtained, a new wanted Pokémon will be added. Hayley is now asking for any Pokémon egg. When the egg is brought, she will offer to trade it for her Mew.
Events
Every 15 minutes, a random event in the ranch will occur. These events don't have any real significance, only intended for a good picture opportunity. Some events only occur after the player has a certain amount of Pokémon or certain kind of Pokémon in the ranch.
Club Look-See
Club Look-See

Club Look-See is a group of people that will come to the Ranch and invite the player to see their ranch. Each member is assigned a number (#1, #2, and so on) and they will appear in order of their number. Each member's ranch has a certain theme, this means that each of their ranches is filled with a certain Pokémon. Each member's Mii also typically bears some resemblance to the Pokémon they have. These are special occurrences that will happen periodically.

Incompatibility
The current version of My Pokémon Ranch is incompatible with Platinum. A leaflet containing information on an update has been released in Japan and addresses this issue. It has been reported that the update will allow compatibility with Platinum as well as include:

* Maximum storage of 1,500 Pokémon.
* Giratina Origin Forme.
* Shaymin Sky Forme.

It is unknown when the update for other language versions of the software will be released.
The history of the Pokémon world is known to us today, because the histories have been passed down as legends from generation to generation. Nobody knows if it is real or not, but there are some symbols that proofs that these legends are real.

Below here is a timeline of events in the history of the Pokémon world, primarily those established in the canon of the Pokémon games, since these apply most to other forms of canon. There is also a separate timeline of events for the Pokémon anime.

Timeline
Beginning of the universe
This information is based primarily on the mythology of both the Sinnoh and Hoenn regions.

* Beginning of universe
** Arceus comes into being.
** Azelf, Uxie, and Mesprit create spirit.
** Arceus falls into a deep sleep.

* Creation of Pokémon world
After defeating Blue, Red/Leaf becomes the champion, then ventures to the Sevii Islands to eradicate Team Rocket and help Celio to connect his Pokémon Net Center to the Hoenn region. Eventually, Red ends up at Mt. Silver, training day and night, and Lance ends up as champion. Blue, dejected, takes the empty gym in Viridian City.<!--Shouldn't the part about Red, Blue, and Lance be moved to have occured between Gen I/III and Gen II/IV?-->

* Brendan/May leaves Littleroot Town on a Pokémon journey shortly after moving to the Hoenn region from Johto by saving the local Pokémon professor from an attacking wild Pokémon. At first, there is a deep-seated rivalry with Professor Birch's son/daughter, however, later on, the rivalry is with Wally instead. After defeating Hoenn's eight Gym Leaders and, with the help of Rayquaza, calming both Groudon and Kyogre, released from their banishment by Team Magma and Team Aqua, respectively, he/she challenges and defeats Hoenn's Elite Four and current champion, becoming the champion him/herself, much to the astonishment of Birch's child.<!--Is this, the Ruby/Sapphire story, or the Emerald story the true canon?--><!--I would say the Emerald story, but...-->

* Between Generation I/Generation III and Generation II/Generation IV
** Viridian Forest is cut down, creating a clear path for trainers.
** Extensive research confirmed the existence of Steel and Dark types.
**Groudon and Kyogre retreat to Fiore to rest after their battle.

* Three years after Generation I/Generation III, Generation II/Generation IV: The events of Gold, Silver, Crystal, Diamond and Pearl.
** Gold/Kris leaves New Bark Town on an errand for Professor Elm, bonding with his/her starter Pokémon on the way. A Silver steals one of Elm's three Pokémon, and challenges him/her as Gold/Kris's journey across Johto continues. A revived Team Rocket, using plans formulated three years prior, enrages many Gyarados, including a red one, at the Lake of Rage and as well takes over the Johto Radio Tower in a desperate attempt to contact Giovanni. As they are defeated, the leader vows to never again re-form Team Rocket, and Gold/Kris continues to gather Johto's badges, eventually gaining all eight and traveling to the Pokémon League at the Indigo Plateau in Kanto. After championing it, over a new Elite Four and its previous champion, Lance, Gold/Kris then heads to the Kanto region to challenge its eight gyms, which have changed from three years prior. After gaining all eight of their badges, for a total of sixteen, Professor Oak declares him/her ready to travel to Mt. Silver, deep in the caves of where he/she meets and defeats Red.

*The events of Pokémon XD: Gale of Darkness

* Lucas/Dawn and Pearl leave Twinleaf Town in an attempt to see a Pokémon like the recently-reported red Gyarados in the nearest of Sinnoh's lakes, Lake Verity. After being attacked by a wild Starly at the lake, and using one of Professor Rowan's Pokémon to fend off the attacker, the journey begins in earnest, where both Lucas/Dawn and Pearl challenge the Sinnoh region's eight gyms to gain the badges necessary to challenge the Pokémon League. Along the way, however, Lucas/Dawn is brought into many conflicts with Team Galactic, whose leader, Cyrus, wishes to re-make the entire universe in his image with the powers of the legendary Pokémon Dialga and Palkia. Defeating the team and calming Dialga/Palkia, Lucas/Dawn challenges Sinnoh's Elite Four and champion, Cynthia, and becomes champion him/herself. <!--This portion will probably change with the release of Pokémon Platinum.-->

*Hayley, a friend of Bebe, opens up a Pokémon Ranch. (My Pokémon Ranch)

*Meteor strikes Earth, forming 2 Deoxys.

Pokémon Trozei! (known as ポケモントローゼ Pokémon Trosé in Japan and Pokémon Link! in Europe) is a puzzle game for the Nintendo DS.

Gameplay
Pokémon Trozei! is a variation of Yoshi's Cookie-style gameplay. The blocks are symbols shaped like various Pokémon. These blocks fall from the top screen down to the bottom screen (assuming that the bottom screen is not full, in which case they will stack up in the top screen). The symbols will disappear when four of the same symbol are in a row. Symbols can be swapped by moving a row or column up, down, left, or right with the stylus.

To get a Trozei, four of the same Pokémon must be lined up in a row. (Ditto works as a 'wild card' Pokémon that can match up with anything.) Trozeis can only be made on the bottom screen. If there is a match up on the top screen, the symbols must fall to the bottom screen before the Trozei will go off. Once the group of four has been matched up (either horizontally or vertically), they will leave the screen. The bottom screen's background will then turn green and allow a Trozei Chance. When there is a short amount of time where three Pokémon can be matched. This continues again with a pair of matched Pokémon, and also allows new combinations like L and T shapes, or even huge chunks of Pokémon at once, in to be Trozeied simultaneously. This lasts for as long as matches can be pulled together, though the time limit on the Trozei Chance gets smaller and smaller as the game continues.

If every Pokémon on screen happens to get Trozeied away at once, a 10,000 point bonus Trozei All will be attained.

Adventure mode
Pokémon Trozei! has a story mode, which follows Lucy Fleetfoot as she attempts to take down the Phobos Battalion.

Lucy is working under Professor P, who is the top agent of SOL (the Secret Operation League). SOL is represented by a Solrock, while the Phobos Battalion is represented by a Lunatone.

She is contacted by the Professor to her her briefing. She is to infiltrate the secret storage locations of the Phobos Battalion. There, she shall recover the stolen Pokémon in their Poké Balls. However there are countless Poké Balls at every location. Luckily they had prepared a new device, which she would find useful. The device is called a Link Beamer. She takes the item and accepts her mission.

Lucy then goes to a nearby Lab where she practices with the Link Beamer. After mastering its techniques, she starts her mission of getting the Pokémon back.

Gameplay is similar to the other modes, and Lucy must win at games of Trozei to defeat the generals. However, she also has the ability to send in her own Pokémon to affect the game. At first, she only has Aipom and Manectric, but she will also get other Pokémon such as Ditto as the game progresses.

Beating the Story Mode unlocks a harder Story Mode. Beating this mode will unlock Forever Mode, which is a bigger grid and requires five matched Pokémon to make a Trozei.

Pokédex
Pokémon Trozei! has a side mission of completing the National Dex. To get a Pokémon's entry, the player must do a combination with their symbol in Adventure Mode, and then send them back to Professor P.

Legendary Pokémon are very rare, but there is a way to make finding them easier. By using Espionage Mode, it is possible to link up with a player who has seen a Pokémon missing from the first player's Pokédex. Professor P will then say that the Phobos Battalion has the Pokémon in the same place that the second player found it, and the Pokémon can now be found. Each player is assigned a rare Pokémon on their Agent Card. It is unknown if this can be changed are not, making it extremely difficult to find Legendaries.

Another way to find rare Pokémon is to challenge a character called Mr. Who. Mr. Who is a collector, who collects Poké Balls that fall out of the Phobus Army's planes. For prize coins, the player can challenge him. The main difference is that there are seven columns rather than five, allowing for more possible combinations. Some Pokémon can only be found by doing well against Mr. Who, such as some legendary Pokémon.
